61  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: FortuneJack scam company? or are they berries on the cake? on: December 03, 2021, 05:41:37 PM
I'm sorry, I'm newbee here.
The other guy above telling to follow this scam report format https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=260073.0

Well, I didn't know that they have customer support with phone calls, @FortuneJack might/can confirm that the call was actually came from them.

Is there any email they sent you regarding the blocking of account due to abusing bonuses? On how did you abuse the free bet? E.g multiple accounts or any kind they have in list? Kindly include it on your first post.

Well, I know they're confiscating their user's funds on their platform eventually once the user did against their terms, they have recent issues related to it.
62  Other / Meta / Re: if they banned signature ads would this forum still exist? on: December 03, 2021, 05:30:16 PM
I won't happen, theymos will not getting enough profit from forum ads. Kidding aside, as what already mentioned this forum will still be active, though not all boards since altcoin discussion will be completely not active due to zero bounty hunters. Expect active boards will be here, bitcoin discussion, mining, B&H, idk the others.

66  Economy / Services / Re: How to spot fake or forged wallet.dat? on: December 02, 2021, 05:01:57 AM
Every single wallet.dat that is for sale in the internet are all fake and there's no way for it be recovered (if possible but for this time), no ifs and buts.

Why would someone buy this too good to be true offers if the seller/owner can't even recover it by his own?
67  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinexmy.com on: December 02, 2021, 01:19:14 AM
There's not that much information about this exchange and if you've already deposited any amount there, make sure that you'll withdraw it upon knowing the thoughts of everyone.
If he indeed send funds there already, chances that he get those back are too low and its good to considered as lost.

To op if you check google, which you probably don't, you will know that its a scam already as there is an already existing exchange called coinex, and having another coinex website is probably a red flag.
68  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is this exchange legit? on: December 02, 2021, 12:33:47 AM
How did you find that website in the first place, what's their deal/promotion/offer to make you joined and deposit. Website having .xyz domain and domain name is already a huge red flag, and the looks of it will give you idea of how poor it was made.

Sorry but your funds is lost forever. Lesson learned, try not to be an idiot next time.
69  Economy / Economics / Re: China cracking down innovation on: December 01, 2021, 03:55:51 PM
China is always into innovation, that's too clear in any technology aspects they have invented. Their government is just too greedy and wants to fully control their jurisdiction that no one will be above them, and that"s exactly what they're doing to all chinese business owners.
70  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Newb question about torshops mechanics on: November 30, 2021, 08:12:54 PM
[...]
But what's the mechanic behind ? I mean I understand I can create my own btc wallet, send to other ppl btc wallet using their address, but how do those shops generate address like this and can recover the btc behind ?
Do they have internal mechanics that create a new wallet they own once I registred ?
So they must own tons of wallets (1 per customer) running arround ?
[...]
If you ask about the wallet address in the site, it just the same process most wallet are using especially if its an HD one. Sometimes online shops do use payment processor such as btcpay server. The idea is, in every user registered the site generates a unique wallet address using the payment processor's API/program and it will be saved to their database for easy identification of every user. So yes, it may generate millions of wallet address depends on the number of the website's users.
71  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: official dealer of whatsminer? on: November 30, 2021, 07:31:31 PM
Never heard of them, didn't find any information regarding them on google as well, lots of business with the similar name appears but there's no related to mining and etc.

If you want to find legit/authorize dealer/seller of asic miners, you can ping this guy offordscott, here's his thread ⚒️ASIC Miners For Sale @offordscott ~ Eastern Hemisphere | Europe, Africa, China
72  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Cloudbet has confiscated funds in violation of their TOS on: November 30, 2021, 06:57:33 PM
IDK what is their plan? I doubt if their ownership changed or not.
The account has no recent activity since june, the assumptions of changing of ownership is currently not possible.

As for the OP, while you're right for the one you have mentioned terms (11.4), but they are also right for the terms 7.1.4 and 7.1.6 as they mentioned if you really came from those countries. I probably guess they will still hold on to that and still keep your funds locked until you provided what they want.

It may sounds stupid that they still want some information from you even though you don't want to do business with them anymore but unfortunately it's part of their terms you wish to agree upon registration. I guess most services will do the same even not in gambling industry with those terms.
73  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: School Students learning bitcoin basics in Slovakia.. on: November 30, 2021, 03:44:20 PM
When I went to grade school I can’t remember ever having learned about some sort of financial product.
Welp, even up to my high school, financial related subjects particular was not part of the curriculum on my school IIRC, all just generics thoughts.

It's just great that this was already thought to these kids.

Funny thing is I actually have a copy of this book they are reading.
How was it? Is it child friendly? I wonder what kind of words the author used to describe bitcoin or cryptocurrency as general.
74  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: “Saylor bought the DIP”, A Short Bitcoin “movie” on: November 30, 2021, 01:18:18 PM
It's a funny meme, but I don't want any more "Bitcoin Jesuses". What if he will become a big blocker or a shitcoiner because he'll decide that it can be even more profitable or because of his personal arrogance? There shouldn't be any Bitcoin leaders, because beginners can very easily trust all their words, which can create a situation when one person has too much influence on Bitcoin.

Bitcoin holders shouldn't care about short-term price and  they shouldn't care if some Bitcoin celebrity buys the dip or not.
Unfortunately, that's actually is happening, even before saylor, twitter has lots of it.

About become shitcoiner, well, that's possible and there are already crypto personality that goes that way, from bitcoin advocate to shitcoiner. Example of ver, well, he is nowhere to be seen right now after sh*t happens.

Btw that meme creator is cryptochimp
75  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Social Gambling Platform? on: November 29, 2021, 06:18:28 PM
It's actually a "social gaming platform", not gambling, but considering it has betting (sports betting) on it, I guess it will still fall in gambling category.

Now, if it really acquire such amount on its seed funding and get executive members from different platform as investors, which means there are people who are interested on such platform. I guess we can give it a try.
76  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will a coin cost if the USA abandon the US dollar today and switch to BTC? on: November 29, 2021, 06:00:56 PM
If we take every dollar in existence and make the existing quantity of BTC equal that amount of value, what will a coin cost in the (now-defunct) dollar?

Just wondering what will happen if a large economy switch to Bitcoin
Too unrealistic scenario. While it's okay to dream and desire, unfortunately, there's no answer for such question (unrealistic).
Asking such broad questions will only get speculations. Especially to a question related to government untraceable currency's total circulation and cryptocurrency as their alternative official currency.
77  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Growing Bitcoin demand among people.... on: November 29, 2021, 03:57:45 PM
People with enough understanding and knows the benefits of holding bitcoin will really want to be compensated/ get donation in bitcoin or even just a part of it, say 10% bitcoin, the rest is fiat.
Antis will always find ways to oppose it, not until they found out it could benefit them the most
78  Other / Off-topic / Re: Things of 2022. on: November 29, 2021, 01:21:28 PM
So what are we waiting for in 2022?
Before the year 2022 start, many speculate that there will be new ath in every year end, in every month of december based on every year end chart.
Well, it's not that bad to expect since it cant be impossible to happen.
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will ETH Fees drop? (ETH v2 etc.) on: November 29, 2021, 07:54:14 AM
Eth2 is the proposed solution of the current eth problems in many ways including of having more transactions processed per second (/block?) which will lead the reducing of fees.

Well, can't say more yet, not until it is implemented.
80  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you guys think 0.1BTC is enough to "make it"? on: November 29, 2021, 06:49:01 AM
Do you think 0.1BTC will be like owning a mansion?
No, even bitcoin reaches to 200k or another hundred thousands, it's not enough for a mansion.

Average cost of a mansion is $3M but depends on the place you're residing, so you have to wait until bitcoin reaches $30M. But investing on other assets aside from holding bitcoin will bring you 1 step ahead to that goal.
