1041  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Withdrawable problem on HITBTC on: January 29, 2021, 12:59:59 AM
Before I can withdraw my coins even my account is not verified?

So right now, your account should be KYC'ed before you can withdraw?
More likely yes, but I hope not in response to their terms of daily holding before they require to apply kyc.

You can check this thread about how hitbtc locked user's account and required kyc with lots docs.

Though some of these cases were resolved but takes days or months.
1042  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Withdrawable problem on HITBTC on: January 28, 2021, 05:50:54 PM
What error/message is shown when you're trying to withdraw? Afaik there's no minimum amount as long the amount covers for the fees. And they always ask kyc to their users before anyone able to withdraw.
1043  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: {WARNING} FAKE Trezor website - Phishing Attempt! on: January 28, 2021, 05:23:05 PM
Punycode characters is really a thing when it's used in phishing websites url. But a normal user of trezor cannot be fooled for such a trick when asks for the 12 or 24 recovery seed.

I reported it on namecheap, they are much of help regarding phishing websites on their end, it will not take that long before it got shutdown.

1048  Local / Pilipinas / Re: BREAKING NEWS! Philippine Central Bank Widens Cryptocurrency Regulation on: January 27, 2021, 04:40:12 PM
Guess its time to use HW for safety purposes. Hopefully yung pag accept ng BTC ng Coins.PH is hindi sobrang mag mahal sa fees, pati ibang crypto na support nito. Para kahit papano makapagwithdraw padin instantly.
Not necessary na HW kase iba ayaw bumili or kulang lang talaga pambili, so using non-custodial wallets is enough already.

Expect na hihigpit talaga ang regulation for new at existing users, maybe another new rollout na naman for verification kay coins.
1049  Other / Meta / Re: [BUG] Signatures aren't shown in one of Pilipinas's sub-boards on: January 27, 2021, 11:12:03 AM
edit: I just noticed that the signature is disabled here. Okay.

because you can talk better when you don't think that you will pay for everything you write here ...
I'm just going to reply/quote this one, which obviously the reason.

Just strange that other local offtopic sub-boards signatures are displayed.

For ETH & ERC20 tokens, Coinbase Commerce has implemented a forwarding machinery, ensuring that all payments eventually end up at m/44'/60'/0'/0/0.
Oh, yeah this is the one.

there is any way to find address directly ?

because it's still search 50000 address found , still more and more .
Unfortunately, no, it's the only way I know. Is the derivation path on BIP32 Derivation Path is m/44'/60'/0'/0 ? base on their support mentioned in reddit.

need to select BIP32? or BIP44?
Try in BIP32 and choose custom derivation path and paste this m/44'/60'/0'/0/0.

And yeah this is a derivation path issue as mentioned above, I can't find an exact derivation path on reddit base on their supports response and seems they manage to make changes every time.

There is any way that we can unlock only the address I sent the payment.
I bet you can, using https://iancoleman.io/bip39/ though I suggest to do it offline, by downloading the whole website, you can check the github repo there's an instruction how to do it.

  • Paste the mnemonic phrase on BIP39 Mnemonic
  • Choose ETH - Ethereum on Coin select tab.
  • On Derivation Path choose BIP44
  • Find the address on the Derived Addresses, assuming that the merchant has too many address already, on the lower part, there's a "show more more rows" button you can put numbers anything you want, eg. 50 - 500 more rows.

Once you found the address (public key), copy the private key shown on the same row and import it on coinomi or I guess on trust wallet which have a feature for importing private keys afaik. Then recover your funds. Good luck.

Correct me if I missed something though.
1053  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I did very serious mistake. Sent USDT to USDC address. on: January 25, 2021, 08:00:14 AM
I sent the 10K USDT to the USDC Coinbase Commerce merchant account for the goods and merchant told me that they have mnemonic phase of wallet, There is any possibility to recover from there?
So this is a merchant address huh. Idk how coinbase commerce account works but If the merchant told you that they have the mnemonic phrase which I assume the recovery seed of the address then I guess there's still a way to recovered those usdc, only if the merchant do the work, though expect its too technical.
1054  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I did very serious mistake. Sent USDT to USDC address. on: January 25, 2021, 07:12:37 AM
Is there any way to recover it. I am really worried and help will be highly appreciate.
Yes, there is. But you should message coinbase regarding this issue since they have the control of the usdc address and they are the only one who can help you.

This is a rare case and expect this will be solved for a longer time or maybe not. Can you tell us the amount you've sent? Coz it matter when resolving such case.

1056  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Deleting crypto wallets with contents? on: January 24, 2021, 08:00:40 PM
This is the same scenario if a bitcoiner die by accident without telling to its heirs its private keys or recovery seed, so no one will get access to that bitcoins he own, and those coins are lost for good.

The difference is just you want to get rid of those bitcoins.
1057  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Good exchange for altcoins on: January 24, 2021, 05:22:43 PM
Let's say I am an holder (min 3 month).  The altcoin I found are not listed in famous one like Binance. They have really low market cup: 100k.
At the moment I am just seeing them on Coinmarketcup and would like to start selecting them by the exchange they are listed.
So I would like to understand if the exchanges are good or not.

If those alts has only limited exchanges then so be it. Wether they good or not since you don't have a choice.

What I usually do, I exchange the tokens/alt to famous pair such btc, eth, or usdt and transfer eventually to other exchanges.

But if you think those alts have potentials, you can hold them on wallet you fully access. Avoid using exchanges as an alternative to wallets.
1058  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Good exchange for altcoins on: January 24, 2021, 05:07:46 PM
Why not binance? Known and can be use without kyc. Though depends if those alts you want is listed there, kucoin as well. Those you mentioned has lower trading volume and idk if kyc is required in able to use its platform.
1059  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: goosebet.io scam report on: January 24, 2021, 03:05:14 PM
Kindly change your title and put "[WARNING]" and "might be a scam" or similar, since there's nothing to tell yet but the fact that they don't respond to anyone's message is already skeptical and a sign, and playing/using the games/casino should be avoided.

And the scam report format for this isn't necessary I guess.

A bill with an expiration date does not become worthless suddenly. Clearly its value would decrease over time until, just before the expiration date, it was next to worthless. Think about it: how much would you pay for a $1 bill that expires in 5 minutes? Certainly a lot less than you would for one that expires in 6 months.
This constantly changing value would make it hard to use as a medium of exchange. Whenever buying or selling something, one would have to look not just at the face value of the bill, but also at the expiration date, to be able to calculate its real value. People would probably start carrying calculators next to their wallets.

Cattle (which obviously "expire") were once used as currency, so it certainly could work. But that does not mean it is ideal.
