541  Bitcoin / Mycelium / Re: All new on mycelium on: July 13, 2021, 07:56:29 PM
I guess its the syncing issue and its pretty normal on mycelium especially on its IOS version, chances are that its still outdated version. IF the address is correct and you have backup of your recovery seed then its fine and maybe you can wait a little longer till the balance reflects.

543  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cryptominerbros scam on: July 09, 2021, 07:36:19 PM
Updated: They sent an email saying it's shipped with 5-7 days, but I asked them for the tracking number because they didn't send one..

I haven't found one creditable review of the place, I'll be the first...

That's not small amount you spent there, a simple google might save you going through this. Well, anyways, keep us updated, and wish you good luck.
544  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cryptominerbros scam on: July 09, 2021, 05:55:59 AM
It would be better if you include some screenshots (cover the confidential info), chat logs and other info. Considering this just few days ago, have you follow up their support regarding your order?
I see lots of accusations against them online, but I cant decide if they're totally scam or just irresponsible merchants but with that negative reviews, I guess they are probably scam.

And this thread suit on scam accusations.

546  Other / Meta / Re: Question: Can admin enable feature I forgot in a published thread? on: July 05, 2021, 06:27:42 PM
You cannot change that from non self-moderated to self-moderated thread or vice versa after you published the thread. I remember many users also request such feature before on some thread that has >10 pages yet its still the same today

What you can do is to create a new thread a self-mod., close the previous thread and let everyone know that you made a new thread, or just let it as is.
547  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You got a pifzer ? Then you can be eligible for lottery in Poland. on: July 03, 2021, 08:16:10 PM
That's a good way to encourage everyone to get vaccinated, like what's wrong to get vaccinated in the first place? not unless if you're into conspiracy and vaccine antis. It's your health after all, not just you but the family where you lived in.

It's a win-win situation I guess, not just you become immune of covid but you get a chance to win for such price.
548  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Allowed ba ang pag buy and sell na Twitter account dito sa forum? on: July 03, 2021, 07:55:13 PM
Make sure na hindi linked yung twitter account na yun sa bitcointalk account mo, what I mean is na gamit mo yung twitter account previously dito sa mga campaigns, kase mapagkaka malan kang connected dun sa pinagbentahan mo if gagamitin niya din yun sa mga twitter campaigns na sasalihan niya. which will lead sa pag kakaroon ng red tag. Anyways, good luck.
549  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Best way to promote a referral url: on: July 03, 2021, 07:34:39 PM
If you're blog owner or knew someone who has blog on crypto niche that can work with you, that would work but not all the times, still depends on the website's traffic. Social media posts with good content will work too don't just spam your referral link.

But with your current referred users, even just 25% of it are all active then that's still a huge number, maybe you can give/mention your ways on how you get those 1000 referred users.
550  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: MicroStrategy Giveaway (Is it Fake or Not)!! on: July 03, 2021, 06:41:08 PM
Why copy paste sir?
[...]

Maybe you don't know that copy-pasting on the forum can lead to your account banned, so you need to read the forum rules. In case you need to copy someone else's phrases/text please put the source link at the bottom of your post.

I haven't reported your plagiarism. Please edit your post and remove the copied text.

Forum rules: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=703657.0
Because he's a reporter base on his username, what an irony.

Regardless, I think it's still better to have this kind of copy pasting to spread awareness of such scam than those who just want to add on their post number, yet it's not accepted in this forum, coz there's a rules and his account should be banned/warned.

Back to op, I wonder if there are still newbies/non-newbies who got carried away on such scam. Always remember, if it's too good to be true it probably is.
551  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for bulk cheap articles 1 dollar per 500 words on: July 03, 2021, 06:22:03 PM
I didn't know that someone can really offer such low price in the article writing industry especially in crypto niche. Even you want a bulk orders, such offer is unacceptable not unless you want to hire someone inexperience, wrong grammar and nonsense contents.
552  Other / Meta / Re: Stake your Bitcoin address here on: July 03, 2021, 05:07:39 PM
The multi-sig address I previously posted starting at 3 in 2016 came from a custodial wallet so I was not able to sign it.
So, why did you stake it?
That's way too early (2016), I guess op was just a beginner regarding forum's security at that time. Seeing people post here regarding the staking of address make you think to post here as well since it like a recorded phrases in this forum, higher rank members suggesting when a newbie comes.

But that just it, signing a message with a date and forum username is really important on this thread for security reasons, for the use of recovering once hacked, so it should be
553  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online gambling becomes popular on: July 03, 2021, 04:05:53 PM
The market competition on online gambling is really tight, and it seems that they're actually profiting a good amount of money.
Yeah,  if there are new gambling websites who decide to make their name, there are also who manage to shutdown their services in this pandemic, which is really common to all businesses online or not that was really hit with the pandemic.

Some reasons are lacking of staff or man power, but the main antagonist is lack financial support to continue the business plus the volatility of crypto price.
554  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Does CryptoTab Browser Mine BTC? on: July 03, 2021, 04:06:57 AM
That's really mining using cpu/gpu, unlike in other crypto that uses asic miners but it can't mine bitcoin using a browser's plugin or any app, even gpu or cpu lol.

That kind of mining is costly for normal users, it can break your device as well due to overheat and etc.

Also, its not profitable and you may end up getting hacked using their browser, worst using browser plugin.
555  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Binance P2P on: July 03, 2021, 02:57:46 AM
Just one time i was bying crypto with credit card on Binance with plans to exchange it via P2P later and transaction finished with error, funds was hold for 10 days by my bank.
That's a common case of CC in any cryptocurrency-related deals imo. Plus they charged you with a huge fees/charges, hope it doesnt matter to you. But if you can gain profits trading there I guess, those huge fees doesnt matter at all.
556  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: As a newbie, explore and ask about the text editing function of bitcointalk on: July 02, 2021, 08:13:24 PM
Not all of those tags/features when writing post/reply is working, but most of them do. IIRC flash and ftp isnt working or disabled due to security reasons.

The table, tr ,td tags are used for tables obviously, tr is table row, and td is data of every table row. So if you're familiar with wysiwyg editors or ms word, you will get that too.
557  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To what extent can sport be strengthened with cryptocurrencies on: July 02, 2021, 07:33:17 PM
we are in times when the blockchain through cryptocurrencies is entering a new moment for sports, before which and how far will we advance in this new scenario?
Cryptocurrency is tied with anything that needs payment, and it completely suits for sports betting, payment purposes, tickets and many more. If all intl. sports leagues can do the same that would be enough.
558  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Binance P2P on: July 02, 2021, 05:31:46 PM
You will need id verification which they can check that you came from a banned country on binance list. So I don't think it will be easy for you to do that.

To avoid scam there, since you're going to receive the money, you should not release your crypto without confirming that you have received the money, just like that.
559  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online gambling becomes popular on: July 02, 2021, 03:11:16 PM
The online casino market has now been of great interest, especially during the pandemic
Well, one of the proofs is the coming of new gambling websites on this very forum, running their campaigns, gigs, promotions to get more users. Almost every 3 months I guess, there's a new casino/gambling campaigns poofing in the services board.
560  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Million dollar win on $15 parlay whoa on: July 01, 2021, 05:52:08 PM
I believe anyone that uses small amount of money to win such big amount is not even seeing the winning coming at all
This is me when I only try my luck at the very least, I used to do it rolling in dice for the very minimum amount and keep it rolling and so happy when it got hit a win though not much but still lucky.
