Can you at least start the addresses with ZM instead of just M? I might get them confused with my Mazacoin addressees.

To be fair, they haven't told anyone what they can or can't do. They just want people to understand that Zeitcoin is an independent effort that assumed the identity of the movement without asking permission or even informing it first. They just want to protect people from being mislead or otherwise defrauded by people who may not have the best intentions. The fact that your efforts are "unsanctioned" doesn't ultimately mean anything other than they don't support your efforts. They didn't tell you to stop or anything. Obviously there are is a significant intersection of those of us who are TZM advocates and those of us who are cryptocurrency enthusiasts. Harnessing and organizing that energy to help make the world a better place for all people is an admirable goal. I hope it does lead to positive outcomes.

This frozen problem might be a result of the devs radically altering the codebase just 5 days ago. I hope they can fix it soon.

Are there public statements of support from chapter leaders in Canada or elsewhere, or is it limited to personal emails? I would assume the movement would want to support the project on launch day by spreading the word with such statements.

That's not propaganda, that's just me sharing my thoughts. Obviously, I could be wrong about what happened and if I am I apologize. As to your proof, I cannot honestly say that it is the most convincing as it is merely a bunch of text quotes that anybody could have written. Are there any public statements of support that can be verified by third parties? I am still looking forward to such a presentation, and I hope you produce it so that I may show others.

To what propaganda do you refer? Me and other Zeitgeist movement members were discussing the merits of being associated with a zeitgeist branded money. I don't understand how your hostility to a fellow Zeitgiest movement member reflects well on you, your project or the movement in general. I'm not trying to stop you or say what you're doing is wrong. I just think it's worthwhile to discuss the implications of this development. Do you honestly have a problem with that?

I find it interesting that once people started asking questions in the previous thread, you locked it and started a self moderating one. That indicates a level of insecurity, immaturity and paranoia that I find alarming.

I don't disagree with any of your points in general. In fact, when I first heard of Bitcoin, I understood immediately that it could be a useful transition technology. What I'm asking about is though, should we put the Zeitgeist name on any particular instance of cryptocurrency or any other form of money? What will that accomplish exactly?

I have a question for everyone who is posting here saying that they are really into the movement and look forward to the launch of this project. Do you feel at all conflicted about the fact that the Zeitgeist Movement advocates the disuse of money in general, and yet with this Zeitcoin there will be a Zeitgeist branded form of money? I'm just curious to know your thoughts.
