101  Economy / Economics / Re: A Resource Based Economy on: October 29, 2014, 09:13:37 PM

i wasn't talking about the trite freemarket vs zeitgeist and molyneux vs joseph discussion, i was talking about something else, and you pretty much confirm my suspicion.

That something else being?

yes, I've long stopped wasting my time with this Peter Joseph. He's a retard spouting the same cliches over and over again.

Right, in order to criticize the market economy, you first have to understand it. It's remarkable that diverse (social-/communist-) anarchist movements 200 years ago, before the information age, were intellectually much further developed than he and the whole Zeitgeist sect are.

The point of (left-) anarchists really has always rather been that free exchange and barter and markets may be fine and good, but the wealthier class would lobby the state in their interests, or, if there weren't any, create a state to protect their interests and their property.

But it's no wonder that PJ doesn't address that, as he's an authoritarian with a hierarchical mindset himself.

Also, the discourse of left-anarchism for 200 years has been less about the theoretical foundation of a more free and egalitarian society (as there was an agreement by and large), but more about the strategies of how to get there, i.e. how a road to actual implementation would look like, a discourse that is wholly and absolutely missing among the Zeitgeisters.

Three questions which point out the failures of the monetary market system. What do you propose to do about it?

While this blog post is not entirely accurate, it is trying to grasp the importance of transitioning away from an infinite consumption economy to a resource based economy. I intend to contact the author to help correct several errors in this piece.

Council on Foreign Relations? Rockefeller family and much other? Is Gavin Andresen a possible freemason? I hope no.

That isn't a good thing for Bitcoin.  Angry

No, Gavin is a space alien and CIA asset. It would be silly to think that he's a Freemason.

It is important to note that RBE proponents advocate using the abundant, safe and sustainable energy sources we already have ready access to, including solar, geothermal, wind, wave and other lesser exploited technologies. More importantly, we can access these energy sources without having to go pay a third party for access to their technology.

The Zeitgeist Movement recently lost an ally. Micheal Ruppert recently commited suicide. This is the unedited interview he conducted with Peter Joseph for the Zeigeist Moving Forward film.

Hmm... I thought that the leaked memory would only include OpenSSL-specific stuff, but I did some more research and I think you're right: user passwords could have possibly been leaked, though it would have been difficult.

I'll log everyone out and add this info to the header.

Also please realize that TZM has many chapters all over the world and the statement above is from the headquarters. By the time our inquiries had reached main office, we had already launched. However the second TZM told us they would not directly associate with us, we completely disassociated with them directly and instead are just a movement of people who believe in their principles.

To anyone intimately familiar with the movement, this should not have been a surprise. We advocate a train of thought, and can not be tied to any single organization, institution or instantiation of a technology. You shouldn't take it as an insult or indication that you're doing something wrong, just that such a formal association and sanctioning of your project leaves the movement as a whole vulnerable to the negative associations you may have (and obviously very recently) caused. Obviously cryptocurrencies are one of the many technologies that will aide in transition, but it would be imprudent to stake our reputation on any one in particular.
