8421  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Scammer] nckfor on: June 06, 2013, 05:56:13 PM
Report his paypal for scam activity. I think they won't do anything just because of it's Bitcoin. But who knows, it was still scamming.
8422  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] Block Erupter Blade Bitcoin ASIC 13 GH/s , preconfigured + 120MM fans on: June 06, 2013, 12:51:18 PM
So I'm guessing you will not be shipping internationally? that's a shame.
8423  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Earn BTC? on: June 06, 2013, 12:48:14 PM
Sounds like we need a Mechanical Turk for bitcoin.

You can get bitcoins for doing Mechanical Turk type of tasks at http://bitcoinget.com.

If you find the right tasks that you are good at, you could earn 0.05 BTC in 2-3 hours of work.

Wow, I have never heard of this service before, thanks for letting us know!

It's been around for about four months, but I guess we've been a bit under the radar. Let us know if you have any feedback!

It's actually very good, better than I expected, I received payment in no time. I was actually looking for something like the amazon turk, but of course Bitcoin.

Please keep this service up, it's awesome.
8424  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: BFL is shipping on: June 06, 2013, 12:16:52 PM
It's going to be very hard soon to mine anything.
8425  Economy / Goods / Re: Would you buy: PSP radiant red 3000 series? on: June 06, 2013, 12:15:39 PM
Okay, I have now jailbroken the psp, I have the original box & chargers.

-Also comes with the common usb cables.

The psp has been tested on multiple games and has no problem performing. After popular demand of people asking to jailbreak it, I have.

I'm now open to offers. I will ship internationally, but additional costs ARE required then.

I have included a few other games which you can have free of charge if you would like.

Please send your're new offers, thank you.

(I'm located in the United  Kingdom)
8426  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: USB Erupter help needed on: June 06, 2013, 12:11:08 PM
When I run cgminer, it says ".....OpenCL.dll is missing..."

The CGMiner for no gpu says that?  I have read ckolivas to follow the BFL ASIC readme for use with the block erupters.
okay, going to try the bfl asic readme, thanks!  Also posted in their thread.

There are multiple youtube videos which walk you through setting them up, I won't post any because differnet people learn different ways, there's a few on there, so pick the one you understand. There are complete noob ones to slightly advanced guides.

I think there's youtube videos which walk you through usb hubs, power consumption. Some videos went into a lot of depth if you have the time to look at them. Most of them use cgminer have a FAQ in the description explaining common problems.
8427  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [SELLING] USB Block erupters 2.35 BTC per unit + postage cost, collection in NL on: June 06, 2013, 12:06:50 PM
going to make a new order if there is enough demand, pm me if your interested in a unit or multiple!

Any discounts if I order more than a few....Yes I'm very interested, but I'm just doing a lot of research at the moment. I know that it would take a very long time to break even, but I think in the long run it would be beneficial to me.
I'm still trying to part with my Bitcoins (I'm very....tight when it comes to money).
8428  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Yes, no or I don't know? (Newbie version) on: June 06, 2013, 12:04:16 PM
No, but I think it will make a dent in the global market. Do you think anyone will successfully set up a UK exchange over the next year?

No, I haven't heard of any development which I consider worthy of creating a successful exchange. However, I could be proven wrong (I hope so). Do you think USB ASIC Block Erupters are profitable?
8429  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Yes, no or I don't know? (Newbie version) on: June 06, 2013, 11:58:02 AM
Yes, Do you think Bitcoin will be one of the most used and successful currencies in the coming years?
8430  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Bitmit - Bitcoin shopping mall - Bitcoin market place - Bitcoin auction house on: June 06, 2013, 10:34:00 AM
you have to edit listing to upload pics.

What do you mean? You can upload pictures when you are initially listing the auction, but if you have already listeed it then yes you would need to edit it.
8431  Other / Off-topic / Re: What we've learnt today. on: June 06, 2013, 10:17:03 AM
I learnt that getting close to releasing you're software....and then you find a ton of bugs and exploits in my code, oh the joy!
8432  Other / Off-topic / Re: Any Good Android games? on: June 06, 2013, 10:15:08 AM
Angry birds
Temple run

Then if you are into building and stuff, then there is always minecraft, even though it's limited. It's improving.
8433  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Anyone still GPU mining? on: June 06, 2013, 10:13:56 AM
GPU mining is far more of a hobby than an investment at this point.

It seems that for everything, have you seen the difficulty jump, since the popularity of ASIC mining? It's sad really I have never really mined.
8434  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Difficulty jumps 28% on: June 06, 2013, 10:12:14 AM
Yep, now looking into it, ASIC aren't going to be very profitable, only the people selling them are going to really profit.
That's a huge increase.
8435  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: USB 300MH/S ASICMiner Value Question on: June 06, 2013, 10:07:20 AM
I am curious what are people's opinions on the value of one of these USB miners, I know they currently sell on eBay with starting bids of $400.  My opinion is that is due to the scarcity effect.  Once there are more supplies available what does the community think they are worth?

There are several group-buys at this forum selling for less than 2.6 BTC...

See for instance https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=195037.new#new or https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=218300.0... Also, you could use search "USB ASIC"...

With the current diff increase, these things mine about 0.01BTC per day, so it would pay for itself in only 260days assuming the difficulty doesn't go up in that time! In reality it will probably take years to generate 2.6BTC

It's true it would take awhile to break even, that's why they will come down in price (well they should) otherwise no one will buy them after the difficulty rises, this needs to be known a lot more before people start buying loads.
They can be profitable, of course. I'm thinking of buying one right now just to test it and just to say I had it.
8436  Other / Archival / Re: Pictures of your mining rigs! on: June 06, 2013, 09:34:29 AM
I'm giddy as a schoolboy. Just got all my USB Block Erupters set up and hashing. Just had to share this here.

You have a amazing setup, I'm very jealous.
8437  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: USB ASIC ERUPTER - Setup & Config. BCG Miner, cgminer, Hubs "oh my"! on: June 06, 2013, 09:30:28 AM
This is a fantastic piece of equipment for new comers as well, for people who are not familiar with mining Bitcoins, I have been suggesting these, because they are so simple to use.
8438  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: HELP: TOTAL Mining N00b on: June 06, 2013, 09:28:32 AM
Raspberry pi? Well, you could go for the Usb ASIC miners, which are expensive to begin with, and it is a risk, because there will be so many people getting into it.
But, it doesn't take to much power (which doesn't matter to you I suppose) and you can use it on any hardware you like and it will preform at the same rate.

Maybe you should look into that, the budget is a little over $100 though, I believe some are selling for around $200-$300.
8439  Economy / Goods / Re: Bitmit promotion: FREE potato on: June 06, 2013, 09:06:12 AM
Yeah, I just saw these on amazon and was like wtf? Anyway it's a interesting concept
