Quote

So just to recap;
You know a guy on Facebook
That guy said he is a broker for high end vehicles
The pics for the vehicles are the same pics that can be found on various websites around the internet
You have never met this guy
You have never seen the cars
You're doing this all out of the kindness of your heart and don't want a penny for your time or energy

Seems legit. Can I get a 2004-2006 Bentley Continental, black, black leather, black out rims, K thanks.

Nice summary, makes it much more clearer for people who are thinking of trusting the OP, if he doesn't know the person or hasn't seen the cars himself, then that's just pathetic.
8462  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Discussion thread for my upcoming German property auction. on: June 02, 2013, 03:21:49 PM
I see a lot of other people are already flaming. Well for one, the previous threads were about a different property. Two there was so much arguing going on, it was HARD to find the previous bid.
There was a lot of confusion which needed to be avoided. It's a good thing that there is a separate thread, but I just know someone will ask a question on the auction thread.

So, I'm wondering I know this is totally off topic, but where did the other house go? have you sold it? I know you were listing it on Ebay but I didn't hear any more.

However, I like the look of this house, and I think a lot of people will be put off by the fact of people flaming, which is a shame. Hopefully people can look beyond this and judge for themselves instead of other peoples personal opinions.
I wish you good luck!
8463  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How much do you have invested in bitcoins? on: June 02, 2013, 12:15:05 AM
It's strange, I have not invested little to any FIAT money into Bitcoin, however I have invested a lot of time and skills into Bitcoin. In fact most of the actual fiat money I have invested is for computer and software.
I have spent countless hours working on projects which I have been assigned to earn Bitcoin.
So I guess, it depends on what you mean invested? If you mean Fiat money, then not a lot.
8464  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: 1 BTC for the most creative idea on how it will be used on: June 02, 2013, 12:05:19 AM
I would out it towards buying a piece of land with a operating gold mine, I would then run the machines required with wind turbines etc. This is a VERY expensive way to start off, but something which I have always wanted to do. I would be willing to hire workers with Bitcoin, however only to people in the local area. (Not yet figured out where to locate the business).
I still have a long  way to go, however everything gets me a little closer to my goal. I'm going to be buying some land very soon, I have a few people who I have been in contact with. I have been researching for a few years now.

When I have some idea on the landscape of the area, I will then finalise some of my designs/plans This could potentially be very profitable in the long run, hard work but that's right down my street. Like I said, I have researched a lot into this, and have know how to actually put my plans into order.

The wind turbines would be powered by solar panels. I already know not to expect a profit within the first 3 years, however my estimated calculations say that I would be able to break even within 5 years if everything goes to plan. Of course these are only estimates and may not be accurate, could take less or more time.

I know it's not the best idea, but I think it's a unique idea to everyone who has posted, it would be friendly to our environment (Not fully first of all). I actually am going to do with one of my family members, who actually has experience with this sort of work. (Except the solar panels etc.)

8465  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Discussion thread for my upcoming German property auction. on: June 01, 2013, 10:15:17 PM
who cares?... just seems like you're trying to be an attention whore. none of us are interested

I am 11.

*pats on head* aww, you are cute.

Hey guys, I'm selling a bitcoin.

Let me open up a new thread just so you guys can discuss it, because I'm sure it matters to anyone.

It's understandable to open a entirely new thread, auction is for placing bids, now when people keep asking questions, it becomes difficult to find the bids if you are interested in bidding. The OP is doing what he thinks would be easier for him & others to place/review bids.

Anyway, I'm glad to see this back up and being auctioned. I'm in full time education sadly, so I don't think I would have the time or money to develop this property further. I'm interested in the final bid, and may place a bid and let my family members take the project on until I get enough time to carry on the project (obviously the project would be under my supervision).

Although, I'm hoping people do bid. Instead of reacting like the one guy did above, I hope you get a reasonable amount for the house, not just a few BTC.
I wish you good luck, and I will be watching....

EDIT: You might want to put a minimum age, 11 is....young and shouldn't be considered. (I think it would stop people from trolling.)
8466  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Selling 1.2 Bitcoin for UK Bank Transfer. on: June 01, 2013, 05:20:35 PM
If escrow is offered, then I don't see a problem. Maybe contact John.
8467  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: SteamBits.com - Buy Video Games with Bitcoins! Sale: GRID 2!! on: June 01, 2013, 04:51:32 PM

8468  Other / Meta / Re: Why are users labled as "Scammers" not instantly banned from the forum? on: May 31, 2013, 09:08:45 PM
The system is pretty good, banning them is like a dictatorship like someone who has already said about. The current system works.
8469  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mark Zuckerberg and Bitcoin on: May 31, 2013, 08:42:11 PM
Not exactly true... he was supposed to be making it with/for them.....

That's true, he did say we was going to create it for them, but he didn't copy their exact plans. The two men only had ideas, no designs etc. He couldn't of stole anything because them men actually didn't create anything except for a idea, which social networks already existed at that point. They said ONLY for their university. BUt, that's just limiting the social network.

Yet, Mark did take some of their ideas, but he turned them into so much more. The film "social network" actually explains this and Mark points out some very good points. One of them was that them two guys wouldn't even know how to do it, he's the one who created it.
In fact, them two guys did provide him with some code, yet Mark didn't even use ANY of their code. He used their general idea, but turned it into 'his' version.
8470  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mark Zuckerberg and Bitcoin on: May 29, 2013, 02:13:24 PM
He didn't steal anything, you can't steal the idea of a 'social network'. In fact myspace was already out, so if you really think Mark stole the idea of a social network, then them two guys stole it from myspace.

You can't steal something if it isn't already made, Facebook wasn't made. The whole concept of having the social network for the university wasn't made. Mark literally made it himself. Them guys wouldn't of been able to program the site, that's the reason they spoke to Mark in the first place.
Them guys had a IDEA, that's all.

I can't say I invented flying cars if I draw a picture and show you the proof. There have been many people who have thought of a idea, but couldn't make it. So someone else did. But they didn't steal it, because it didn't existence in the first place.
8471  Economy / Services / Re: First person to fix my iPhone that's stuck in a boot loop gets 0.1BTC on: May 28, 2013, 05:32:05 PM
Plug your Iphone into your computer, launch up Itunes. Then cancel sync, wait to see if it automatically boots otherwise enter recovery mode, you could also enter DFU mode.

I have had this problem no ends of times after jailbreaking and this always sorts it out.

I've been watching, I have posted on that thread stating that you did actually repay the loan.
8473  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTB eBay giftcard for BTC on: May 26, 2013, 05:24:41 PM
I'll be ordering some soon, I will be having $5 and $10 ones. What would you pay for these? I will most likely sell for below face value, but I'm not sure yet.
8474  Economy / Reputation / Re: Bennett616 Reputation on: May 26, 2013, 05:22:23 PM
Repaid a loan, within the time specified.

Take a look at this thread here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=199475.40

Thank you!

8475  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Want out of here FOR REAL? on: May 26, 2013, 12:52:52 PM
Yeah, I don't agree with this at all, even charging less than you are would be wrong. Because you can't guarantee they'll get out early.
Plus, they only have to post a little and be on for 4 hours, that's not worth paying g 0.01 just to get out.
8476  Economy / Lending / Re: 0.2 Reputation Loan on: May 25, 2013, 01:50:58 PM

Thanks!
8478  Economy / Lending / Re: 0.2 Reputation Loan on: May 24, 2013, 06:52:12 PM
The loan is DUE today, I'm going to give it 24 hours. If I don't receive any communication or the loan & interest back, I will then take action.
I have had some worrying news from another member of the forums, that Bennett took a loan out off that user and hasn't re-payed then back ,and it's a week late. I hope this is not the case with this loan, and I hope that user gets his/her loan & interest back.

I have been fair, I allowed 2 weeks instead of 1 and a reasonable interest on top. I will be updating you with information.
8479  Economy / Gambling / Re: BlockRun.com - Penny auctions on the blockchain on: May 22, 2013, 08:52:39 PM
I find it strange, that so many auctions have been won, but no verification from any of the winners. Plus I didn't say from different address, I said from the SAME ip address. Unless your connecting to a external server then I don't know what is happening.

I understand your frustration at this point, because you might be running a legit service, but you got to understand others being cautiousness and asking these questions.

Hopefully, we can have some verification soon, but hopefully SOILD evidence.
8480  Economy / Gambling / Re: BlockRun.com - Penny auctions on the blockchain on: May 22, 2013, 07:05:34 PM
Well, my reply got deleted when I was asking if you can provide any proof, it seems some of them bids have the same ip.
