2681  Economy / Speculation / Re: Haven't heard any FUD/rumors, whats causing the downward trend? on: April 25, 2014, 06:16:31 PM
Why did it go up from $380 to a little over $500? There hasn't been any good news lately.

It's a thinly traded market. There's about $+-100 of noise just from daily trading.

Not really, it was at $500, and dropped to $350 due to Chinese crap news, and it went back.
2682  Economy / Speculation / Re: Haven't heard any FUD/rumors, whats causing the downward trend? on: April 25, 2014, 05:37:21 PM
Of course, the chinease :/
Thanks for helping me out, what do you think the price will be in a couple of days?

Just usual crap from China as usual... It'll get back to $500 in a few days.
2683  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BTC GUILD is the best? on: April 25, 2014, 05:33:57 PM
As already told, theres no "best".

What you can do is do compare some pools on following facts:

- Uptime
- DDOS-Protection
- Do they run custom software?
- Payout System (PPLNS,Prop...)
- Did they already payout?
- Support Speed
- How many Blocks they found
- User experience (Google for it)
- Financial Stability
- How long are they online?
- Do they successfull run any other coins?
- Security (Two factor auth)

And so on Smiley, good luck with choosing your Pool ! Smiley

Also other things...

-Admin Reputation
-Any shady background? (50BTC) (ghash.io)
-Any other coins being merge mined?
2684  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: I buy information about 'mintodev' scammer on: April 25, 2014, 05:17:34 PM
I have his company, his location, his phone number. Please read PM, I also have other info, but not his name.

Why today unexchanged doesn't turn to ready? It's growning and growing. Does it mean some issues about exchange or may be about forks?
Thank you
Terk might have set it to hold a certain coin that he thinks will go up in value in the next few hours, which could be a possible explanation for that.

Reasons include:
-Exchange website problems
-New coin that automatic exchange hasn't been set up yet
-Wallet problems

By the way, if it forks, then then it won't be displayed in the earned BTC and it will affect the profitability.
I doubt that Terk will hold coins, since if it doesn't go up in value and goes down, he will lose money.

Up to how much are the numbers or will this just go into infinity?
2687  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just another Butterflylabs horror story on: April 24, 2014, 09:05:30 PM
Sorry you had another bad experience.
They have a game show, maybe you can win and wait to be paid?   Tongue

Yeah right. Their aim is probably just to steal all the personal info.
Hero Member, Primedice sig, wow.
2688  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Best mining method on: April 24, 2014, 09:02:34 PM
Best bang for your buck? Mine on BTCGuild.
Want to support the network? Mine on p2pool.

By the way, fire up your GPU rigs and mine altcoins.

2691  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: any. thoughts on bit solo mining pool on: April 24, 2014, 07:48:29 PM

Nothing is wrong, what prefix are you trying to generate?
With a normal PC it's really hard to generate them.
2693  Economy / Services / Re: PB Mining -- 5 year mining contracts! on: April 24, 2014, 05:07:22 PM
What pool does PB mine on?  Do we have any input on where hashrate is pointed? What proof is there of ownership of hashrate?

Absolutely no information on that, they refuse to tell us. These questions have been asked many times lol.

I did try and scan the last 4-5 pages of the thread and didn't see anything.  Apologies for beating a dead horse  Cheesy

Price is attractive but need more transparency for me to be a customer...

I understand, lol. I just bought 2 GHs to test, but I agree that there should be more transparency. Funnily enough, the "mined" coins are mixed.
2694  Other / Archival / Re: remove on: April 24, 2014, 05:01:20 PM
Hm the prices have went up then.

Ok what's the current average per week for full members and 50 posts per week?

Primedice: 50 x 4 = 200 posts per month x 0.0004BTC/post = 0.08BTC
Ritz: 50 x 4 = 200 posts per month x 0.0005BTC/post = 0.10BTC

0.09BTC/month is the average for 200 posts.

Is anybody else having trouble accessing their user page?  I can connect to the other clevermining pages, but when I try to load my user page I get a 504 error.
same.

I can't even access the homepage. CloudFlare is working fine, so CleverMining might have gotten DDOSed? I thought the frontend couldn't be DDOSed, since CloudFlare is supposed to protect, but I guess there's still the possibility.

2700  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for .01-.05 loan on: April 23, 2014, 08:17:58 PM
I spoke positively about you yesterday on your initial thread and I was prepared to consider this request, however, I am struggling to reconcile what you said yesterday:

I am new to the community, I have no means of buying bitcoin, and would love to get started into it. Looking for a small loan (.005) to help get me started. I am sorry to "beg" but I would really like to get into bitcoin, and none of the "faucets" I have went to are really actual faucets. They want you to do all kinds of work for them, and then pay you a bare minimum, taking multiple days or even weeks to get .0001

with what you are saying today:

That wallet is empty??? Yes that wallet is empty, this is so it is easier for me to keep up with the loan amount, my main wallet has many transactions coming in and out that would make it harder for me to keep up with who I was paying, and how much to pay them.

Can you explain?

Maybe he earned some dust from a faucet and is now sending it to himself repeatedly to get rid of it by paying tx fees?
So, 3 possibilities:
1. Scammer
2. Retard
3. Retarded Scammer
