Welcome, and I look forward to learning more about your site.  I hope things go well and you get the traffic you looking for.  Take the time to build a good rep and things will fall into place.  Smiley

Read.

For some reason, this guy has already been accused to be an alt of the scammer "TheGambler".
2663  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: stolen bitcoins from encrypted wallet ? on: April 26, 2014, 10:43:55 PM
That's why you should always be careful of phishing. Blockchain.info never sends you an email, even if you get paid. Your password and identifier got stolen, and since you didn't have 2FA, then they stole your coins.

hmm oke , is there any manual to do 2FA ? i am not familiar with it

btw i use offline wallets in windows 7

blockchain.info is not a offline wallet.
You open your blockchain.info wallet, go to Account Settings, and enable 2FA.

2665  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Newbie & son needs advice re: which software & pool to choose for bitcoin & doge on: April 26, 2014, 08:55:41 PM
So just to clarify our strategy, would it make sense for us to pick a multipool that chases best currencies with one leg our our mining operation
and then add mining to our starter five Antminers we got this week to mine bitcoins?
If so, on the bitcoin mining should we add no additional antminers to our investment and maybe look at getting a gridseed?

Thanks,  Brett

Yes, that is correct. A gridseed is the best device to get into scrypt mining right now.
2666  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: [help] Can I ask for a loan to mine? on: April 26, 2014, 06:28:19 PM
Have you checked cex.io?
Pretty decent cloud mining... but 1 GH/s really won't get you anywhere.
Good Luck!

Read what he says, he is talking about cex.io, and that site really isn't that profitable.
2667  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BTC GUILD is the best? on: April 26, 2014, 04:33:23 PM
There isn't a 'best' pool.

In fact; it doesn't matter which pool you are in. The only thing you need is a bit of luck.

Roll Eyes weel, when  i see my graph with the Th/s  ... when you have 200Th/s, you find no block in single day.
with 600TH/s, it's better ... 1 block per day.  Grin

... luck ?
well ...  Cheesy

Still has nothing to do with the profit, since mathematically, you still earn the same.
2668  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Reward on: April 26, 2014, 03:55:14 PM
Hello, i just started mining 1 hour ago, i'm a newbie, and i had 1 shares, and an estimated reward of 0.00017571, small amount, it's only 1 share. But now i have two, and my estimated reward is 0. Why?

Which mining pool are you using?

It makes no difference.

Even if you get a share, it doesn't mean you should get paid.
For example, if the pool pays in PPLNS and your share is not in the last N shares, you don't get paid.

I just want to make sure if it is the case.

If it's PPLNS then how can it "estimate" earnings in a round? Unless they have found at least a block, they cannot estimate.

For sha-1, weaknesses have been found so I wouldn't pick it as the best.

You can pick anyone of the rest as the best, depending on your goals.
Are you sure theres even a sha1 coin?

There is, lol.

You might say that one is "better" if it is more ASIC resistant, but that still depends if you think that ASICS are good or bad.
2673  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin safety on: April 26, 2014, 12:35:06 AM
If you are in the U.S., then LocalBitcoins and Coinbase are your best options. Also, consider doing more than just buying bitcoins and sitting on them.

Yeah. You could invest in bitcoins and use them to invest in other things.

  • Just because you can afford to buy an island doesn't mean you should. Islands attract pirates, and sometimes they sink or explode. Anyone offering to sell you island insurance is probably secretly a pirate.

There goes that idea.

 Cry

Out of curiosity, was your idea buying an island, or selling island insurance?

This made my day. "Islands sometimes sink or explode". I'm just like WTF and LOL right now.

Please, help me !
By some error I have entered for my username wrong BTC address - I have added "S" at the end.
My real BTC address is 1H2JfdCBPAJgLrUShx3tnBZhYhpjATissR and I just corrected it, but I have been mining for almost a week on 1H2JfdCBPAJgLrUShx3tnBZhYhpjATissRS.
You can check on blockchain that 1H2JfdCBPAJgLrUShx3tnBZhYhpjATissRS is even not existing.
But I still have mined two weeks and the miner was showing my hashes so I contributed to the pool.
Please, send me my shares on my real 1H2JfdCBPAJgLrUShx3tnBZhYhpjATissR, this is lots of money!

Send a PM to Terk, the pool Admin.
2678  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Newbie & son needs advice re: which software & pool to choose for bitcoin & doge on: April 25, 2014, 06:35:05 PM
Thank you for that advice. I like this site. So I guess a good move is to just scrypt whatever is hot at the moment(top of the chart) and convert to Bit. Makes sense.

Thank you,

Brett

There are other pools called multipools which automatically switch to the most profitable coin.

Then the estimated reward is highly incorrect. What are you mining with?
If you are mining with your computer you're wasting your time.
