301  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Looking for partners for starting a mining farm on: December 02, 2017, 08:27:37 AM
This is a good project, here an advice.
Rule number 1 to do business here, especially if you're a newbie and want to attract some investors;
1. Transparency, doing all the discussion about the deal in this thread instead of in pm.

I have some questions, hope you don't mind to answer it.
What kind of coin do you want to mine? Why GPU and not ASIC? ASICs are more powerful and efficient to mine bitcoin and altcoins instead of GPU. GPU mining is becoming less and less profitable due to the significant increase in mining difficulty.
What about electricity cost, how much per KWh?
Thanks
302  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: |||||--ASICWORLD--||||| ASIC MINING TECH |||| BTC & ALTCOIN CHECKOUT |||| on: December 02, 2017, 03:30:30 AM
We offer free shipping.
So there is no real benefit other that trust to use bitmain.
But you said "free shipping deals are closed"

Sale prices now closed and free shipping deals are closed.

We offer group buy on the forum if members wish that can always be done via escrow.

"Group buy", what does it mean?
Like some people or a person buy ASICs in bulk, such as 10-12 units? Home much the minimum amount for "group buy" ?
People can trust your site as long as escrow involved.
Are those ASICs new (never used before) ? Do you offer any guarantee such as replace it if ASIC is damaged upon receipt at the destination?
303  Economy / Speculation / Re: Let's get real, $20k by April, $50k+ 2018, $100k+ 2019 on: December 02, 2017, 12:47:52 AM

McAfee doubled the bet!

He now says $1 Million before 2020 and he's still gonna eat his dick if not!  Grin

What the h*ll  Grin Grin
I remember when McAfee accepted the bet on his first prediction, and they were serious as it was escrowed, valid bet obviously.
$500,000 in 2020 is crazy, most people will think twice about it, but he doubled to $1 Million, speechless.
People predict bitcoin according to the bitcoin price increases in the past, but those people calculate it based on math formula, etc.

After seeing this, most people still won't believe it's true as there are some unpredictable factors that may affect the price such as government regulations and so on, but how if more countries legalized bitcoin as a tradable asset/commodity? Such as in the US.
Well, Op maybe right, $100K+ in 2020, but McAfee stated $1 Million, as people tend to expect a realistic number, I prefer to $100K and don't want to expect too much.
304  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-12-01] LocalBitcoins Traders Charged with Fraud for Selling Bitcoin to Thi on: December 01, 2017, 06:36:43 PM
This is why I like to read news about cryptocurrency and all related things about it.
Through others pain, we can learn to be cautious and aware of something suspicious, especially transact with large sums of money through bank transfers due to everything is recorded. Doesn't mean you can do an illegal transaction if it's not going to bank system.
But the point is to check with whom you are dealing, make sure everything is clear before decide to send bitcoins and receive fiat money.
305  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Genesis-Mining Review on: December 01, 2017, 03:32:56 PM
nice Review iam also really near to my ROI !
I am jusing genessis mining now almost 3 years and have to say its very great !!

at starting they had really low payout of 50 000 Satohsi not its 150 000 satoshi but nice service i reach every 3 days a payout.
and its almost the last cloudminig that allows open end renting Tongue

when the offer more btc minig i will buy more ghs there!

May I ask some questions? I hope you will see this, and willing to reply.
You have a bitcoin mining contract, right? How much GH/s do you have?
Is your income BTC0.0015 per 3 days (right now)?
You have a good income per month, but I'm wondering, it takes 3 years to reach ROI?
I thought it just takes 6 months - 1 year to reach ROI.
306  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How does Bitcoin have any value? on: December 01, 2017, 02:04:19 PM
Have you seen people paying thousands of dollars for game skins before? What value was there for them in those skins? I

am playing a online game now, where we buy crystals {in game tokens} to upgrade faster. Those are digital goods, like any

other physical items you buy. Bitcoin is used to transfer money from country to country..... normally much cheaper than any

other remittance service... those people only use Bitcoin for that reason and that give value for them to move their

wealth.  Grin

This is an understandable explanation, something worth because people decide it's worth.
Since bitcoin created to be an alternative payment method or become digital currency with some advantages, such as mentioned above, but the best idea is decentralized feature, I guess.

Basically, bitcoin is just a technology built on internet but it's at this crossroads of technology.
Bitcoin is a better monetary system, the money of the future. Since people trade it (buy and sell) through exchanges, it's worth something according to supply and demand. The first exchange rate was published in October 2009, listing the value of BTC1,309 for $1, and now bitcoin worth over $10,700 across the global exchanges.
307  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is more expensive on: December 01, 2017, 11:04:40 AM
I have found that some people are more expensive to buy, and lower prices are a hoax, Isn't that interesting?

Rip English, better to post on local boards instead of post such question on English boards.
It seems you ask; people are expensive to buy, you want to buy people? Like human trafficking? LoL
The lower price is a hoax? No, it's not, mostly.

Let me correct your question;
Some people said bitcoin become more expensive and lower price is a hoax?
BTC1 worth $10,000. Yes, it's expensive, that's what people said when bitcoin reaches $5000 - $6000 - $7000 - $8000, an endless question. Bitcoin price constantly increasing over time, $10k is cheaper when bitcoin reach $15k or $20k. People who bought bitcoin when it was $10 may think it's expensive compare than when it was $0.03, it's something relatively depends on your perspective
308  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Tipestry - commenting platform with built-in cryptocurrency tipping on: December 01, 2017, 06:33:21 AM
What's the point of your site? Talking about bitcoin, altcoins, trading, everything about cryptocurrencies? It's better to do it in this forum, right? I've read some posts which pretty interesting and informative but not for the comments.
There are sites that try to "compete or copy" (not sure the appropriate words to describe it) and they actually pay people to post or comments on their sites, just like you do. But, paying 1000-5000 doge? I don't think it's really worth. If you have interesting content or informative site, no need to tip.
309  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crash or Correction on: December 01, 2017, 02:17:49 AM
A crash is a drop of about 30% or more. That would take bitcoin to about $7700. The price is around $9700 right now - so it's a correction, and it's consolidating between $9000 and $10,000. Which is fine. It went up just too fast.

Agree, bitcoin price still above $9000 which is a high price since bitcoin has leapt from $8200 to $11,000 within 3 days.
It's small correction until the price drops back to $8200 again, and consider as a big correction if it falls less than $7500.
It's a crash if bitcoin fall 50%, below $5500. But, we won't see it happen I guess, who wants to sell bitcoin if they know the price will skyrocket in this month? Normally, it will work like that, and we will see what happens after bitcoin futures launched in this month.
310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: is this computer good for mining on: November 30, 2017, 04:49:42 PM
No, I don't think so.
What kind of cryptocurrencies that you want to mine? If you want to mine bitcoin, then purchase an ASIC.
You may mine some altcoins such as monero but even a supercomputer is way slower than mining with ASICs. A supercomputer only has much CPU power, not even GPU power and ASICs are way more powerful than GPUs. ASICs represent the hashing algorithm as hardware which means it specifically created just for mining, that's why ASICs are faster and more efficient than a supercomputer.
Another thing to consider; GPU mining is becoming less and less profitable due to the significant increase in mining difficulty.
311  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and "Ballon Effect" on: November 30, 2017, 01:55:54 PM
The price simply is driven by huge demand across the global exchanges due to bitcoin acceptance and development in some countries especially after CME group will launch bitcoin futures in this month and Nasdaq will follow their path as well.
People get used to constantly small movement (rise and fall) of bitcoin, around $100-$500 within days or even weeks, but it has changed since August, after some hard fork. Bitcoin gain more and more value even could raise $1000-$2000 just in a day.
And look at current fluctuation, the price rise and fall as much $200-$500 within 5 minutes.
We may have to face another phase of bitcoin development, transition to attract more investors join in this environment.
312  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Cryptomover's C10 Initial Product Offering- Portfolio of top 10 cryptocurrencies on: November 30, 2017, 01:26:15 PM
No need to create 3 thread for the same content, just add some update in the first or latest thread that you've made
You mentioned about initial product offering, but is this C10 isn't a coin? Which refers to initial coin offering.
Honestly, I don't really understand about the idea, correct me if I'm wrong;
C10 is a coin which represents 10 cryptocurrencies? Whenever investors send btc or ltc will get C10? How much?
Cryptomover's team is a trading group?
Can you explain; how exactly this project works to make a profit for investors?
313  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bittrex announces minimum trade size raise and other info on: November 30, 2017, 12:39:03 PM
100,000 satoshi equal to BTC0.001 or $9.7 at current rates. It's a small amount for traders and will get rid of small transactions by some people who are trying to make their fortune through trading. I agree that you can get decent profit just by relying on the small amount of capital. But, there are too many problems regarding their support, verify account and withdrawal issue. Personally, I won't trade in such shady trading platform especially deposit huge funds into their site, too risky. Surprisingly, bittrex still occupy third place according to global trading volume over 1.3 billion dollars. I prefer to use local exchange in my country or some global trading platforms such as Hitbtc, etherdelta or livecoins.
314  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-11-29] Nasdaq To Launch Bitcoin Futures In 2018 on: November 30, 2017, 10:42:50 AM
CME group and Nasdaq affect the market movement significantly, as people expected bitcoin reach $10,000 in the next year but it turns out to reach over $11,000 at the end of November, surprisingly enough. Bitcoin acceptance growing bigger in some countries and people don't want to miss the huge wave. I'm wondering how far bitcoin futures could push the price within a month, maybe reach $14k-$15k by the end of the year. Especially after Nasdaq announced to launch bitcoin futures as well, provide an open gate for big investors to be involved in crypto-world.
315  Economy / Speculation / Re: How do I identify end of rally? on: November 30, 2017, 09:40:49 AM
There are some indications as indicators of the (short term) end of the rally for some particular coins such as bitcoin, there or litecoin.
The most effective way of predicting it according to the development and demand. For example, bitcoin may gain huge value during this month due to CME launch bitcoin futures which may affect the price to reach $15,000 by the end of the year. But, don't be greedy about something, just create a portfolio of your investment and set buy-sell order at a certain point as long as you make profits.

Reviews on your site mean nothing for people in this forum, as people always want to buy-sell using escrow to secure the funds.
Why people want to buy ASICs on your site instead of buy it directly through bitmain? Build trust is the most important thing if you want people trust and buy products on your site.
Another thing about your location;
AsicWorld
Dezheng Road,
Shilong Shiyan Town,
Bao’an District,
Shenzhen City,
Guangdong
518108,
China

If people have to purchase ASICs and shipped from China, it's better to order  on bitmain site obviously.
317  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Consequences of having a bitcoin account on both Electrum and a Ledger Nano S on: November 30, 2017, 08:05:57 AM
Are there any contraindications?  Advantages?
There's no contraindications to have bitcoin in two different wallet imo, and some advantages such as more secure due to you don't put all of bitcoin in one wallet and easier to spend bitcoin through electrum on phone and keep ledger nano S in save deposit box.

I had a dormant bitcoin account when the August and November forks.  I have initialized the Nano S, but i am trepidatious about doing anything withoiut better understanding of
the consequences.

Is thaere a discussion, tutorial, other than at Ledger's site that I may study.

james-Osbourne

Do you ask about how to claim coins from the hard fork that happened in August and November?
There are 2 coins, bitcoin cash (bch) and bitcoin gold (btg), right?
You may easily claim bch by installed electron wallet (for electrum) and claim btg through coinomi wallet, and both require private key or seed to do it. You can read it here; https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2062449.0

318  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think is Bitcoin become legal in all countries? on: November 30, 2017, 06:24:12 AM
It won't happen for sure, most countries don't have detail regulations or laws regarding cryptocurrency.
Only a few countries that really spend their time to investigate and discuss cryptocurrency's usability in their countries such as Japan, South Korea, US and Russia. While most countries warn their citizens about invest in cryptocurrency or treat bitcoin as a commodity but prohibit fintech or other financial platforms to use cryptocurrency as a medium of exchange. Well, it's better if government consider bitcoin as an assets or commodity which people still can buy and sell bitcoin on exchanges and they do not ban it as happens in some countries.
319  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Hashflare cloud mining first 2~weeks review - Anyone still using them? on: November 29, 2017, 11:54:55 PM
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D7a8O0vo3dM
Been hearing a lot negative viewpoint on cloud mining, however, I've been profiting from genesis mining for a while & hashflare seemed like another trustworthy (at least trustworthy enough to believe you'll most likely be gaining some profits). So tried it out and at least so far everything has gone smoothly.
Surely mainly sticking to the actual market, but was wondering if anyone has been on Hashflare for a year or longer? And how has it been, I noticed they have been changing the contracts etc. pretty suspiciously, but anyway.

Yes, there are too many negative issues regarding hashflare services, especially after they cancelled lifetime contract unilaterally.
But, we would like to hear your story and maybe add some pictures about your investment in genesis mining and hashflare.
How much have you been invested in genesis?
How much profit did you get?
And about hashflare contract, what kind of contract you have purchased?
320  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-11-28] Bitcoin is a Bubble. But It Won’t Burst For Long - Akke Svenson, Ra on: November 29, 2017, 11:42:01 PM
For example, СМE Group, the largest North American derivatives marketplace, offering the widest range of futures and options products and uniting commodity exchanges of Chicago and New York, has recently announced plans to launch Bitcoin futures. It is practically the acknowledgement of crypto assets potential by behemoths of the market.

Besides, there are interesting data on crypto assets global expansion. Bitcoin is already an official means of payment in Japan. Moreover, the number of companies accepting cryptocurrency as payment has grown by 12% during the period from August to October!

Bitcoin as a bubble still unclear due to the price keep increasing instead of pop and crash.
Millions of dollars have been invested in bitcoin market, more adopters join in and growing number of companies accepting bitcoin as legal payment, especially in Japan. I'm sure that bitcoin price increase significantly in the last few days due to CME group will launch bitcoin futures, big investors are coming and early adopters don't want to miss the opportunity to add more coins to their wallet. In fact, there is no loss if people invest in bitcoin as long as they can wait for a long-term instead of panic sell after bitcoin get corrected within days.
