Isa ako sa nalugi dahil kay axie. Ni piso walang nabalik sa akin kasi puro hold nagawa ko nung may value pa kasi nag aakala na tataas pa.

Ayun luging lugi pero may hold ako na ronin, slp, axs. Ginawa ko nalang remembrance. HAHAHHAHA

342  Economy / Economics / Re: Early exposure of children to wealth and investments on: March 25, 2024, 10:30:23 AM
I guess it is bad idea to hide any income or money saved or invested for "training" a offspring. Sure, being transparent might make them demand to purchase something, but then educating them about good and bad investments will be better. It will be bad to give them big money before they are mature, but they should at the least know the resources and funds stored or earned for them and for their future by their parents, because death is certain and can come at anytime and all those complications like "hidden money" etc. can cause fights, or a reason for struggle for the rest of the family. Cheesy

It depends on how you raise your child, I agree that it's better not being too transparent to them when it comes to your savings but
the only thing we are talking about here is teaching them how to manage their finances, savings and investments (if there's some) while they are still young, because there is a great possibility that once they know how to properly handle their money, they will no longer be dependent on their parents when the time came when they were getting old. Most people from South East Asian countries, even though the children are of legal age, they still depend on their parents and do not know how to handle their own money and income, so there are instances where the parents are also in charge in everything because their child is in the right and legal age already but all decisions in life of them still depend on their parents. You said, We don't know when we will die or disappear from their company, so it is better to do it while they are young and when they think everything about it, they will learn as early as now.
343  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: cruel level of addiction, causing harms and still keeping it up on: March 25, 2024, 09:53:27 AM
With the level of addiction you've described OP, I think that person needs to be taken to a rehab, it's obvious he has lost his mind, gambling can be one of the addictions he is going through, but i believe there are other things too he can be addicted to that your not aware of. Gambling can be addictive no doubt, but not to the extent of costing him his business, home and family, that's far too much.
At that stage, he cannot stay on his own and stop gambling, he obviously needs help from friends and well washers, because in his state of mind, he hasn't done anything wrong with his gambling lifestyle.
What I can call it is frustration of losing is affecting his mental health already, but addiction is hard to quit. You are right by saying he needs help. Rehabilitation center will greatly help him. He needs his family and friends support they should advise and take him to rehabilitation center if they have the money. I hope this can teach many people on this forum lessons that gambling addiction is not good at all. It is wrong to be thinking that money can be made through gambling.

I agree with you mate, Seems like that person is suffering in severe gambling addiction and possibly accompanied by other mental health issues due to lack of financial, mental and family support. We don't know what the real reason is, but based on OP's description, it seems that consultation or advice from other people is not enough to change the person, In such cases, rehabilitation and drug medication are necessary because no matter what advice we give in a person, if he continues to return to the thing that destroyed him, he will only drown more and more in gambling addiction. Only rehab can really help a person to change and of course his dedication and desire to change, the treatment will be faster if he helps himself.
344  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: brazil sanctioned law that taxes online betting in the country on: March 25, 2024, 09:30:20 AM

Do you think the government should really collect alternative sources of income from its citizens such as online gambling?

15% is too much for small-time bettors. They know for the fact it's an unfair number.
When it gets tougher the government will really exercise its laws to make money.  But this would also mean that your government will allow more casinos built in your cities right?  Your president better have plans for those who get addicted.

From what I heard Lula is a populist president who won by landslide so I guess the majority of the people in Brazil agree with his laws.

there is nothing wrong with paying taxes especially since people are making money here, but just like you said, the 15% tax they will impose is too much especially if a person only gambles once and the amount of money they will use in gambling is not that much. There are also good sides to what they will do, maybe in this way the possibility of addiction will be lessened for a person because if the tax is that high, some of the people will be forced to stop gambling, depending on the person's behavior and the level of its addiction. I just hope that the taxes they get from the players go to the right place because nowadays, there are many government employees who have no fear of the law and are doing face-to-face corruption.
345  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who among you here is gambling at work? on: March 25, 2024, 09:00:39 AM

And if he is addicted to gambling then I wouldn't be surprised if he can do it because addicts can't just stop because all they have in mind is playing and playing.

Gambling addiction will reduce productivity at work. I'm sure this will make your boss suspicious and one day they will find you gambling while working. And because you can't work optimally then of course your boss will fire you. I'm not sure your boss will give you a warning. Gambling addiction is a fatal mistake. I think no one wants their employees to be gambling addicts. Gambling addicts can cause bad things for companies such as fraud or embezzlement of company money. Therefore, don't be a gambler in your work environment.

they will be more suspicious if you used to be productive, you hit a quota at work and you finish before deadlines everything that needs to be done and then in an instant, suddenly changes, you are always late in passing the requirements needed, you no longer meet  your daily quota, you are late even at the time of work even though you have already worked from home, you don't feel like working because the reason is that your attention is divided between working and gambling, but just to inform everyone that gambling is not for long term, it can be done anytime  and we can win big but we can also lose, there are no benefits to be gained from gambling unlike what your company offered to you,  so let's think carefully about what will help our lives, many people aspire to the position you have now so it should not be taken for granted.
346  Other / Off-topic / Re: Does having children have an influence on gambling habits? on: March 25, 2024, 08:41:29 AM
As you get involved in the upbringing of a family you lose time to the family and have less free time for your vices and hence they are no longer attractive. This is perpetuated if both parents are involved, if only one is involved, the other will continue their older lifestyle like usual.

Eventually their addiction will relapse but this can be a good impetus to control it and if effectively done can end the addiction for ever.

Still for some it is tough and it will be difficult for them to balance both eventually leading to dysfunctional families.

I believe that once you have a family, it is necessary that you will focus more on them and their needs. If you know that your gambling habit will have a big impact on having your own family, you will come to the point where you will have to choose who you need to let go of, surely you will choose your vices, right? It's hard to do especially when you're used to it, but it doesn't mean that once you have a family you will immediately break your habit, you have to go through the right process to get rid of it more smoothly. I know others whose parents are addicted to gambling and that's when I saw the impact of what they do on their children. There are other children who imitate their parents, some of them do not have a good relationship to their parents and the worst is having a broken family because of the vices of the parents.
347  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Always check the deposit address on: March 25, 2024, 08:16:18 AM
Wait... why you take a loan for gambling? I believe most people know gambling using loan is really bad.

Shit happen to you, many centralized sites weren't updating the deposit address for long time, they just update it after few months or years, even though they didn't notify their customers. Glad the casino still want to recover your coins.

To me it seems pathetic, he asks for a loan to gamble in the casino, deposits it directly there, and almost loses it by not checking the address. The worst thing is that the discussion is focused on the fact that you have to check the address, and not on the danger of taking loans to gamble.

That's necessary if we don't want to lose without betting. But I bet the casino, a just casino would credit an account to your balance once it's on their wallet. Because in this case, it's easy for OP to prove that the address is link to his deposit account, and casino could not deny that, otherwise OP can create a scam accusation with the casino and I'm sure the community will symphatize.

Yes, it was a mistake for not checking the address first, or making sure that the loan will be sent immediately, but as we can trace, it will point it to the  owner of the address which is OP..Borrowing money for gambling is just another story, we don't tackle it here.

Yeah, It's easy for OP to prove as long as he has a proof and if there's none, It's hard to believe if he is telling the truth. these kinds of incidents, especially those involving money, can be easily resolved as long as there is proof that the money deposited by OP to the casino's wallet address was not credited.
Take note that when it comes to any fund transfer transaction or deposit, It's better for us to track it correctly and do not rush things to avoid this kind of incident
348  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports that you don’t watch but you keep placing bets on: March 25, 2024, 08:02:29 AM
Do you have a sports that you keep betting on even though you don’t watch this sports live or you don’t know the full specifications of this game?

There are some sports that I don't know specifically about, but I know about them in general terms. And I used to bet on those sports. Of course I don't always bet on those sports but I think it's fun when betting on sports you don't know much about. I have bet on tennis, badminton and basketball. I only know a few names of players who often play in Grand Slams or in Open Tournaments 1000 series. I only know some famous NBA teams like Warriors, Pelican, Lakers, Hornets, but I don't know which one is the strongest in that season. Sometimes I get to know some more specific things when I try to bet on the sport.

Sometimes It's okay to explore in order for us to learn new things about gambling activities. It's kinda challenging for us knowing that we have no any idea on the team that we support and it is giving us an excitement to know if we have a good choice or not, If we are lucky or not. Just like you, there was a time that I've placed a bet on some sports that I didn't know or I didn't like, someone asked me why I'm still placing a bet even if I don't have any Idea? the only thing that I answered is "For fun and excitement only"
349  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your state on mind if your son stole your money to gamble? on: March 24, 2024, 10:09:57 AM
But I myself would consider that what happens to child in the future depends on the parents, we cannot blame the parents but on the other hand, the responsibility of parents is to guide their children to the right path.

I would instead blame parents. Because it is their fault, that they raised that kid in a way, that he has used stealing to solve his money problem. Not ask money from parents, not tried to earn them or borrow. But to commit a crime. Of course the fault is not 100% lays in parents. People who surround him also play role. But a kid and what he does is 100% parents responsibility.

Even if there are a number of careless parents out there, the majority try to do a good job at it despite having to work or more jobs, so I will disagree as I have always thought that it is up to each person to decide and create the life they want for themselves, and this process begins when people are still kids, the kid had to decide whether to steal that money or not, and since most parents will teach their kids that stealing is wrong, then the responsibility of ignoring that advice falls completely on the kid, and they should be the ones to shoulder the consequences as well.

Agree, since we are in a generation where most of the youth today are rude and have no manners, most of all kids  have no fear for those who are older than them especially their parents, I do not agree with the statement that the parents should blame, because there are parents who always give advice and teach good manners to their children but you will be surprised because the children themselves disobey all the instructions of the parents, they themselves do what will harm them and the children themselves are the ones who decide what they will do, take note that parents are not focused on their children 24/7 because others need to work so that they can raise their children properly, but there are some young people who no matter how good their parents are the opposite of children's behavior.
350  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stop gambling if you don’t have free time to do it on: March 24, 2024, 09:31:57 AM
We are expected to gamble t our free and leisure time, we should not introduce gambling at the official business hour because we are expected to make the balance between the two, if we don't work for money, how are we going to get the required fund needed for gambling that we want to do, we must learn to do things the proper way, in such a way that no any aspect of our life will be affected all because we are gambling.
We can't be affected with the negative results generated from gambling because it'd weigh below our standards. Gambling is for fun, and not any serious thing we should be cautioned about, rather its even optional to gambling twice a week and focused on the main job that brings the earnings. Gambling hours should be split to our free time, atleast it won't interfere with our profession. We should try our possible best to make sure things running smoothly and capturing the best moments available.
Definitely, unless gambling is not your main job or career, you should not be affected with it as you can live without gambling. You do it for fun, you lose that's alright. But if you are not smart and you don't have the skills to be profitable in gambling but you still force yourself to it, you'll never like the result as most likely you'll end up being addicted.
There are also a few who have stable sources of income like work and business but sometimes end up being broke or financially unstable due to gambling, so it is a big thing that we must be mentally and financially prepared when we enter gambling. That's why a person ends up being addicted because sometimes even though they know they can't play, they still force themselves to get back the lost money even though they shouldn't, or sometimes even if they don't have any money to gamble, they still find a way even though borrow more just to play.
351  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why in some religion gambling is forbidden? on: March 24, 2024, 07:50:59 AM
Yup, It really depends to your personal belief and faith because even if there's some religions who doesn't allow gambling and it is strictly forbidden for them, there still some of their members who secretly participating in any gambling activities because they believe that they are the only one who should dictate what they should and shouldn't do in life, so even if it is forbidden in their religion, there are still many who disobey it.
In our day-to-day life, we have to follow the rules of our country and/or where we live. But if we break the rule of the country then we have to suffer. We will get punished by the rules. In the same way, those who believe in any religion must believe that they will get punishment if the do anything wrong (against the rule of the religion).

I respect your opinion just like how I respect your religion rules, mate. It is also good that we follow our beliefs especially if it will harm you and your religion. As a person from a religion that allows gambling, I respect my other friends and acquaintances who have the same beliefs as you, one of the ways I show respect is by agreeing with their opinions and the not forcing them to do so. That's why some people are forced to turn away from their beliefs because of the people who influence them.
352  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Always check the deposit address on: March 24, 2024, 07:18:18 AM

The lesson here is always check the wallet address before you deposit no matter how long do you use the same address. Most importantly don’t use casino wallet address to receive funds that has a delay such as loan money and campaign payments since there’s a chance that they will update their wallet address without prior notice. Keep safe and have fun.
Do not be I rush or in a hurry. And do not get used to the address you forget to double check.
What I do is to always check the first five figures and the last five figures. Then I cross check with the on the gambling website.
I know the consequences of failure to do so. It's is like double losses. Double losses because you don't know if you will win after you stake your bet.

Well said mate! even if we say that we have a copy or have auto signed up the deposit address we use, it is better that we always carefully check each transaction because we are also the ones who will be in trouble once we don't do that. It is our fault if there is an error in our transaction and of course when it comes to financial matter, we should not be in a hurry to handle it especially if we do it via online transaction, it is really much better if double or triple check will do.
353  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling until you go totally broke on: March 24, 2024, 06:52:00 AM
But then, this got me wondering why a full grown person will gamble until he or she has no money left in his or her bank account, and no cash at hand, I personally have on several occasions gambled away every single cash I had at hand, but I always had some money in the bank to fall back on, together with my family.

I am just wondering if anyone here have ever been in a similar situation before?

I personally do not, but I do remember many years ago at a place where I used to go and there was a slot machine, where I started to play from time to time with my friends, a man who had collected the month's salary, in cash, throwing money into the machine and changing one bill after another, spending the whole afternoon until he lost all the money for the month.

same as you, I don't have any experience something like that, but I want to share the experience of one of my closest part of my family here. Actually at first he didn't really gamble but when the time came when one of his friends came back to our area and asked him to gamble only when he had free time, since his friend only went home to our area once, he gave in the request, until it took weeks and months that gambling became his daily routine, then the worst was when his friend took him to the casino to play poker and then he didn't know what was happening because he was too much focus on gambling. He brought the money from his business as well as his entire savings since he is not used to keeping money in the bank, he brought all the cash to the casino and then it was all used up in just 2 days, that's how bad it happened, all his money was used up and His business also went bankrupt, it reached the point where he almost committed suicide because of the problem he caused himself, but it didn't happened because one of our relatives talked to him. How is he now? It's been almost 15 years since he didn't gamble and he also adapted the culture of the Arabic country so he's no longer interested in gambling because it is prohibited in arabic country.
354  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Try to stick to your instincts as a gambler on: March 24, 2024, 05:56:11 AM
Your narration is exactly what also happen to me before but my own was removing like 3 game which have already started out of my prediction and replaced with 3 other games but in all the 3 I added, 2played together with other games but 1 still cut the game. I was very angry a terrified seing that I lost the game I could have won. And my instincts was telling me to allow the game to continue and I refused. but went ahead and added some games.
As a gambler, there's enough roles to play and risks to be  levelled upon because it's mainly your decision as a vital roles in gambling and most importantly, We're milking from the system back to back, atleast it'd the only evidence that show a gambler to be making huge moves in the market. We're humans and we have instincts and they're very active when it involves the system. Our instincts play a vital role in these our bets, never stop throwing attempts of games because instincts directs us on what to do specifically, making our losing ratio reduced.

I think every gambler still uses their instincts to determine bets, or at least continue the game or stop the game. We don't know how accurate each gambler's instincts are, but instincts can still lead gamblers to bet accurately, or vice versa. Nobody knows the luck of a gambler, they just bet according to instinct. they can win or lose. Some gamblers make bets randomly based on knowledge alone. but if he was lucky, victory would be his.

Actually, we can't explain why most of the time a person's instincts turn out to be right, it's like mind over matter, that what's on your mind, that's actually possible because it's manifested by what we think, we claim what will happen because that's what's on our mind, that's why there are other people who prefer to think only positive things prior a session of gambling and not negative things because sometimes what comes to your mind first, that's really what will happen.
355  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling can bring positivity and light into people's lives on: March 24, 2024, 05:38:41 AM
While gambling can bring excitement and joy to some, it's essential to acknowledge its potential negative impacts and risks, such as addiction and financial loss.
This is what OP trying to cover from the whole thread and that is the reality in gambling
because there are only few that succeed in this journey but the losses is incomparable .
there are even family that broken , life that has been taken and life that changes into
so much worst because of gambling.I am not blaming gambling for this but if Gambling wasn't
invented there will never be these damages

I agree with what you've said, it really depends to the outcome of each individuals when it comes to gambling  but even if gambling wasn't invented, there will be other incidents that may happen just like the damages that will be acquired when doing gambling. We cannot control people's fate because it is what it is. All we need to do is to be more aware of what we should and shouldn't do so that we don't end up with the fate of most gamblers.
356  Economy / Economics / Re: Everything is over priced but people keep spending on: March 23, 2024, 07:27:50 AM
The cost of things has gone up so much so that it's glaring. Imagine paying 5-12$ for an average meal you could get before for 3$. The jump cost is extremely high. Cooking a meal at home can cost you the same amount you would spend on eating in a restaurant. Funny enough people still afford all these things without complaining. My anger is that we make money to spend it all into our normal life expenses. It's difficult now to save or invest unless you part of the rich people in society. An average man has to just eat, pay bills, and survive.
It is not the value of things that has increased in price, but the value of money that has decreased. If the Fed's printing press goes berserk and churns out money non-stop, it creates an abundance of money circulating in the global economy, resulting in its purchasing power (inflation).

Cooking food in your own kitchen may not cost as much as eating in a restaurant. You are exaggerating, because the cost of food in a restaurant includes rent for premises, wages for staff, food preparation services, taxes, etc. You are comparing warm with soft.

If you spend most of the money you earn on meeting basic needs, this only means that your standard of living is low. If this makes you angry, then what efforts are you making to rise to a higher level and start earning more? You resent and resent the way this life works, instead of adapting and finding a better place for yourself. This is very destructive.

People's basic needs can't be denied. For $10 or $100, you will still buy food. Therefore, businesses that satisfy the demand for basic needs will always be relevant. This is a note for you.

I agree with this, if we look at it, the costing of preparing our own food at home is almost the same compared to buying from fast food or restaurants, the only difference is the serving of what is sold at the restaurant and that's valid because they have many things to cinonsider in their costing. Let's go back to what you said if a person earns just enough, does that mean he has a low standard of living and doesn't make an effort to increase his income? FYI, Not all people are blessed with a good company or businesses, there are many of employee who even if they work 2-3 jobs per day are still lacking, due to the high prices and expenses, other companies should also keep up with the salary increase, but nothing like that happens .
357  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Bingo Plus Discussion on: March 23, 2024, 06:08:30 AM

Madami palang laro eto.

358  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you won a bet with your last cash? on: March 23, 2024, 04:17:15 AM
I don't gamble with my last cash and I will never encourage gamblers to gamble with their last cash in the gambling center because, it can punish you into borrowing money from other people to transport your self back to your destination or borrow to gamble.
You are right Zanab, anyone who can persist in gambling to the extent of gambling with the last cash can borrow to gamble. It could also be a sign that such person is drifting towards addition without knowing. It is a normal thing to see stranded gambler in some physical ambling shops in my area, who begs others after they have lost all they came with to the casino. The surprising thing being that any money they were given to them will still go back into the casino. The gamble with their last cash and that is not a good thing to do.

Is that true? The beggars outside the casino houses? I haven't seen anything like that in the casino houses I've been to, but if it's true that there are people like that, they must be suffering from addiction or they've really run out of gambling money. It is difficult to give financial help to such people because it is certain that after they collect money, they will just spend it again on gambling. We should also be careful sometimes in giving help because when they get used to that, they won't really learn.
359  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do the juice Worth the squeeze? on: March 23, 2024, 03:03:38 AM
I must say, 50/50 odds of beating the system are a myth. What matters is understanding the odds, which are never in your favor, not being a high roller or playing it safe. Casinos and sportsbooks make money, not give it away. They use their house edge.

So, people who think they can get rich from gambling are just having the wrong mindset and they most probably don't have much knowledge about the technical side of gambling and how the odds are stacked against them for the long run. It's better for a gambler to stay moderate with it all the time.

the people who think they will get rich from gambling, those are the people who only rely on gambling as their source of income, they are the people who want easy money and don't work hard to have money, and finally, they are also the people fools quickly because they are quick to believe what other people say without fact checking and research.
And sad to say, many people have that mindset, they think that once they gamble they will get rich immediately because that's what they see in promotions and social media advertisements. It is much better that people are now more aware of the other causes and effects of gambling in a person's life, it is not just about winnings because there are more factors that need iconsider before we gamble.
360  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you prefer betting your own predictions or from prediction site on: March 23, 2024, 02:39:42 AM
So i want to know as a gambler that you are, do you feel following those betting predictions from those sites would favour us in gambling more than our own predictions? For me i trust my predictions and i have won more when i predict for myself than letting someone predict for me.

Some gamblers don't trust that they can make correct predictions from their own idea of the game and it'll give them a win therefore they'll preferred to use prediction sites to avoid losing and sometimes they win some games which will make them to continue to use the prediction sites until it'll begins to disappoint them. They'll  then change the site to another and this is what they'll be doing as they don't trust their own predictions. I don't think anyone can make a better prediction for me to win.

I don't think so as I know gambling depends on how lucky that you're. Someone with more Idea about a game might not win but you that have very small Idea about the game can be lucky and win a big amount. Depending on others makes you to increase your chances of loosing the bet as you don't know if the games that the individual or sites is forecasting is a correct game that you'll win when you play.
Many gamblers believe that some website or channels actually give legit games that will has higher chances of resulting to win and some of these people that have this believe never stop thinking that they can make a win through this prediction because I have a friend who never gets off this mentality and always depends on the predictions of this so called sport channels week in and out but the crazy thing is that he still doesn't win no matter what.

Just thinking that your friend hasn't won gambling yet, should your friend think more about it? Maybe it's time to change his betting strategy, because why would he continue to believe in betting websites and channels when he can already see what the result of what he chose to believe, right? He should also try to gamble from his own prediction because maybe later he will win somehow. As a gambler, it is a common rule for me to have 100% trust in my own instincts, Win or lose, the important thing is that it comes from my own perspective and decision.
