728  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: Total 500 BTC, 15% for 30 days, renew automatically or paid back in one month on: February 14, 2012, 05:55:40 PM
Massive price drop. Need more coins
729  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: First Pirate Savings and Trust on: February 13, 2012, 02:54:14 AM
OK - I've asked the 2 largest borrowers that I lend to to refer me if they happen to be able to, but perhaps being borrowers predominately rather than lenders they may not be able to & those that borrow just to arb lend on to you wouldn't anyway, Current available space for the savings plan is: 275 BTC down from 350 BTC last time I checked but seems like the take up time isn't quite as fast as previously, it was an hour or 2 ago & normally peeps jump on these funding windows quicker, maybe the falling BTC price isn't helping atm

anyways, best as always

Otoh

PS: an amulet that I just failed to win, it's been that kind of a couple of days

given your track record, i don't think anyone would refer you.

if we don't buy them, i am sure the price will just drop.
$210 is not that great of a deal, plus this thing have NO warranty (don't get fooled by the site).
AMD OEM is NO warranty if not purchased from a OEM. I am sure bensoutlet is NOT a PC OEM.
731  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: at what point is a person considered a "respectable" miner? on: February 09, 2012, 07:46:58 PM
Consider I'm living in a country where -20 is common in January.

-If you can heat your feets with your mining rig, you're just starting.
-If you can heat a room with your mining rig, you have a nice hobby.
-If you're starting to save on heating because you heat the house, you're serious dude.
-If you can heat a whole 4-story house, with people keeping the windows open because it's too hot, and having the oil company giving you refunds on your heating bill, I believe it is the point where you are "respectable".

seriously, i have only had to turn on the heat once for this winter, and it's because the internet was down!
732  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: how to keep 4 close by graphics cards cool? on: February 09, 2012, 07:44:21 PM
what's to worry about? 70C is very cool. if you don't hit 100+C, then i wouldn't be worrying.
733  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: FPGA Miners? on: February 09, 2012, 03:28:07 PM
ebay generally dislikes the term "bitcoin"
and they will ban you at anytime.
734  Economy / Lending / Re: 13 BTC loan, will repay 14.5 BTC on: February 09, 2012, 03:07:01 PM
well we need to get this sorted out. Let the scammers know we will come and haunt them forever.
735  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: First Pirate Savings and Trust on: February 09, 2012, 03:04:54 PM
so what exactly are considered "bad coins"?
736  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: First Pirate Savings and Trust on: February 09, 2012, 04:14:14 AM
OP, since you will only accept referrals, then are you saying current lenders can advertise it on the forum?
I know you have strict rules about that in the past when things got heated up with ineeduser*
737  Economy / Lending / Re: 4.88 BTC loan needed on: February 09, 2012, 03:28:55 AM
would the forum admin put a "scammer" by the OP's name?
as we all know, he didn't repay for at least 3 loans.
738  Economy / Lending / Re: 13 BTC loan, will repay 14.5 BTC on: February 09, 2012, 03:18:39 AM
The name and address associated with the phone number can be purchased for 99 cents. I have used intellius before they are legit. I believe they also provide birth dates previous addresses and names of known relatives if the information is on file. For 99 cents i would buy it but i dont have a credit card. No charge if they fail to provide any information. Somebody here should do it.

http://www.intelius.com/results.php?ReportType=33&formname=phone&qnpa=267&qnxx=281&qstation=4934&focusfirst=1
But it says $4.99, am I missing something?
I would do it if it's $1
739  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: who has the highest GH for a single machine out there? (GPU Mining) on: February 08, 2012, 10:37:46 PM
Damn if I can get this working, I think I can safely say I have the largest e-peen of all the GPU miners here. Grin

If I want to sell it to an enterprise or government, I'd probably have to load it with "Pro" cards like FireGL shit and Quadros though. I think there are a few FireGL cards that have 1600 shaders each and only take up one slot.

BTW, I know of Quadro-based systems that have more than 8 GPUs - wonder if the "pro" drivers remove that limitation, or whether nVidia just has never had such a limitation.

What cards have 1600 shaders and only one slot except watercooled 5870s ?

AFAIK Nvidia has no limitations on the number of GPUs but I think they may have an artificial one like ATI with 8 ( maybe 16 with Nvidia ? ). Ask the folding guys.

nVidia have 8 GPU limit as well.

It is a great deal for a gamer.

They had 106 in stock yesterday...100 today.

Hey.. how do you tell how many they have in stock... I can see the little percentage bar, but how does that translate into exactly how many in stock?

thanks,
Sigg

Input a really high number of cards (like 100 or 120 or something) and keep decreasing the number until it actually shows up in your shopping cart.  If you put in 97 right now, nothing will show up in your cart.  But if you input 96, it will.  Thus they have 96 cards as of this post... at least I'm guessing that's how it works.
nice trick if that's how it works.
