Yes. I agree with you. It is not the cryptocurrency that is causing the crimes like robbery, kidnapping, and others. It is the rotten people who only use Bitcoin and the cryptocurrency to do it. Maybe, that is one of the reason why some government don't want to accept it in their country. But, in my opinion, the main reason is control. Since Bitcoin is decentralized, government has no access or control to it, so if people uses Bitcoin, they can't control people.

How the police can find about these transactions?
Even if is hard to track illegal transactions, I don't think that Bitcoin can be a danger to society, since the problem is the society and its people.
Since the beginning of the internet this is happening ( the bad people committing crimes)  and no one is willing to shutdown internet because of that, so in that matters Bitcoin should be equivalent. I think those illegal transaction are one of the reasons some governments and the media are trying to depreciate bitcoin, but the problem is not Crypto/blockchain or Bitcoin, is just the society.

We can’t blame the society entirely, they are just laymen who got their minds embedded with opinions from medias and others sayings. Talk about scam, it cannot be set off from the internet, in this case Bitcoin which is considered as a medium of criminal transactions which actually paper money or even fruits can also be used as a medium of exchange in the criminal world.

The government of Hong Kong had recently made a pronouncement exonerating bitcoin as a currency for committing crimes by criminals, having investigated some criminal activities perpetuated  in their country from the investigations their is no any links connected to bitcoin, This is possible by tracing any huge funds laundered by criminals while trying to exchange to fiat must involve KYC where those criminals can be traced.

What will they achieve by this? KYC procedure - is not a panacea.

First of all it is hard to find the transactions since there are millions of them every week. It is almost impossible to know if a transaction was made illegal or not. Secondly, if they find a suspicious transaction they will not resolve anything because a bitcoin transaction has absolutely no information about the person who did that, the email, the IP or anything that could help cops to find the persons who made those transactions.

I think bitcoin is a digital currency that can be used for anything so if bitcoin is used for criminal action it's not a bitcoin error but a user error that uses bitcoin for criminal acts

indeed bitcoin is always overshadowed by crime and the like because bitcoin is accessible to anyone and anywhere and therefore returns again to the goals of investors who invest and that is one of the reasons many countries are opposed to bitcoin in the country's access, it all depends on our purpose in the investment

Are you sure about that? Even silkroad was shut down, criminals can't avoid law enforcement to catch them only because they use bitcoin as medium of exchange. Usd and all currencies are already used by criminals.

Bitcoin is a money, so some criminals using it like the physical money in making illegal transactions such as terrorism, illegal drugs, plunder...etc. My point is why are you so worried bitcoin used by criminals that they already did it on fiat currency? Before,, when there is no bitcoin yet, are these  criminals not using illegal transactions using fiat currency? Of course yes they are.

It is not impossible to find out how police find a transaction because police is connected to the government. And the government have a lots of intelligence to determine how is committed a crime. Once the government know who committed a crime the that is the time police implement a law. The number 1 problem is not a bitcoin, the problem is the society or the person also who use bitcoin in illegal way.

Well. Criminals and normal people can use bitcoin for transactions as well as criminals and normal people can also use paper money for transactions so for me,  it is nonsense to talk about these. Also,  on your first statement,  it is impossible for a police to track this hackers  for the reason that paying in bitcoin is fast and secured.

The police are controlled by the government. They use CIAs in order to track down those criminals in the surface and deep web. Yes I agree, Bitcoin isn’t a threat nor a danger to the society, it’s the people’s personal intention on how they going to use Bitcoin.
