1141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Making investmets based on Elon Musk Tweets on: May 27, 2021, 10:37:20 AM
i thought it would be a bad and incorect decision. indeed we can't stop him from making a tweet at least we are not swayed by what is said, because it will make him addicted and the profits he gets continue to flow
If you know how the market will move base on his Tweets then you will probably make a good prediction of what's going to happen after. Remember that the market moves where there is demand and Elon's tweet can make those demands, so it isn't that bad of a decision.
1142  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SAVE CRYPTO FROM PEOPLE LIKE ELON MUSK on: May 27, 2021, 09:50:25 AM
People are too stupid and emotional about the recent fiasco of Elon to think about that, what they want right now is to hate on the person that doesn't even know that they exist, they are essentially shouting to the void. That's what I am currently doing right now and I gotta tell you that when bitcoin hits another ATH or the 100k mark, you best bet I will get a lot of profit out of it.
Maybe people are just desperate to make money because they can not make money from long ago. We can not blame people or Elon because they have their own reason to do that. Maybe Elon has a hidden agenda and plans to do that while people want to make money. Many people lose their money and some of them cut losses their coin to buy back at a low price. But many others just watch the price movements without doing something because they already lose their money by investing in a high price.
Why go to a volatile market if you are desperate, there are better ways to park your money so it isn't affected by a big loss. The only people who blame others for their losses are those that are greedy and stupid. There are some with short-term goals that are cutting losses and that is acceptable but waht I hate are the people who put the blame to others besides themselves.
1143  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2021-05-21] Goldman Sachs Reconsiders, Calls Bitcoin a Legitimate Asset Class on: May 27, 2021, 09:07:13 AM
That's probably the reason why they are shilling, might want to stack some bitcoins because this might just be a speculation but I think more investors are going to flock the market now that some financial juggernaut is supporting it.
1144  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC has broken the $40k barrier, next test is $31k, then on to $10k on: May 27, 2021, 08:18:10 AM
To go to $100k or higher would be bigger than the USA GDP, do you have any idea where this money is going to come from?
So what if it becomes bigger than USA's GDP? Will we unlock superpowers will the end of the world events will trigger when this happens? Also, I think a lot of people are going to have an idea where is the money coming from, and I think that it will come from the money of the people.
1145  Economy / Speculation / Re: Slap yourself if you didn't buy during crash, and slap harder if you... on: May 27, 2021, 07:31:21 AM
If I were to play this slapping game, would have slapped kyself silly long ago. Dollar cost average, my friend. The only game most of us can afford to play withot spending days glued to the screen. Got lives to lead, things to do. All of this drama is for background noise, a cycle of soundtracks for the distant horizon.
Me too, right now that I don't have money, I would probably be on the hospital with a swollen/bleeding cheeks. Believe me OP, @buwaytress, me and other people who are smart enough to invest in bitcoin really wants to buy but there will always be the limitations coupled with the will to accumulate more.
1146  Economy / Speculation / Re: How long until the "we're in a bear market" people admit they were wrong? on: May 27, 2021, 06:56:22 AM
I don't think we are going to see those people admit their mistakes, remember that people have an ego and if they feel like someone is threatening it, they will defend it at all cost even if they become irrational doing so.
1147  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reverse Bubble 2021 on: May 27, 2021, 06:04:09 AM
We are a bit too late for the reverse bubble but we also overstayed in the bull market. Something that concerns me is that when the pattern was really replicated, will we be able to see the same percentage increase in price of 2018 with the 2021?
1148  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is $65,000 the peak of this bull market? on: May 27, 2021, 05:25:09 AM
As far as we know it is the current peak of the market, we have no idea what happens in the future so that position is a temporary thing that we don't have to worry about because knowing the bitcoin market, we will probably see more ATH in the near future, all we can do is to prepare for it.
1149  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Goldxbtc.com fake gambling website.. on: May 27, 2021, 04:45:27 AM
The risking of money when it comes to scam isn't the first priority, they have to make the users too greedy to back away first so it has a higher chance of catching victims, that's why there is a lot that still falls for this kind of scam because scams are evolving, what we can do is be more vigilant in the future.
Yup, it would continue to evolve once a certain scheme would bust up then these scammers would always come up with a new idea to hook up people specially those greedy ones
because people do easily get fascinated when you do let them see on how to earn money or profits on most possible easiest way that they could be and where human
greed do easily snap on and make out mistakes like this which is a bit common. I agree on others been saying that only your common sense would save you
in situations like this.
Even if the scheme is busted, they will continue to use it, just wrap it differently and some possible victims might never catch on with the fact that it is the same old scheme. Look at the Runescape doubling scam, it was adapted by many scammers but they put their own flavor as to how they are going to execute the scam. Another problem is thatthese scammers are always following the latest technology.
1150  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Goldxbtc.com fake gambling website.. on: May 26, 2021, 02:26:12 PM
You could verify instantly if it is a trap or not when they come too strong in the beginning, no one would slap you in the face that you could make a fortune by just doing a very simple task but it involves money, that's way too fishy and skeptical in the highest level. But I don't know why there is a lot of people who are getting fooled by scammers. It's an obvious scam but people still choose to risk their money.
The risking of money when it comes to scam isn't the first priority, they have to make the users too greedy to back away first so it has a higher chance of catching victims, that's why there is a lot that still falls for this kind of scam because scams are evolving, what we can do is be more vigilant in the future.
1151  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr on Aug 21 in Vegas on: May 26, 2021, 11:48:07 AM
~

He is still showing a good fight against young fighter like his recent match that's why he still want to fight. Boxing is his passion and we don't have the right to give him an advice to stop especially if he still has power and will to fight. He is using the money he earns to help poor people here in the Philippines s I fully support MP whatever his decision in his life. I'm sure he will give a good fight to Spence and he might win if Spence become overconfident.
But still, I think that he has to retire. Also, not all the money isn't being used to help the poor people, he has a lot of business ventures and I don't think that the help that Pacquiao gives is going to be enough because he is a Senator which means that he can make bills that will change the life of many people in the long-term compared to just giving money that will probably last around two weeks.
1152  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Man lost £20,000 in one night after becoming addicted to online gambling! on: May 26, 2021, 11:11:40 AM
If there is some kind of intervention, I am pretty sure that people can be rehabilitated. This person isn't an exception to that process and if he can't then he is a rare case but his loved ones still has to try and intervene with the problem, it's all right if the addict denies it as long as the people around him are still doing it.

Theoretically speaking. This intervention thing will really help people to avoid being addicted. The problem was not all people are open on this kind of problem that's why its very hard to stop gambling addiction. Even the casino limitation on betting will never stop this because an addicted to gambling person can easily find a way to gamble more.
I think that it is more than just a theory since there has been a lot of cases where people who were addicted to something got the help they needed because there was an intervention involved, that's why I think that it is more than just a theory. Casino limiting the bets or the money spent are designed to be bypassed, they don't want help addicted people, they are the biggest reason why their business makes a lot of money.
1153  Economy / Economics / Re: How to protect from inflation? on: May 26, 2021, 10:37:32 AM
Banks are a good protection to inflation but the problem is there is close to zero profits with banks so it's not a good thing to go that route for inflation protection, bitcoin can be a likely candidate but it's inherent volatility is going to be a problem for people that have weak hands. Real estate and gold could do the work just fine but the problem is that both are really expensive.
1154  Economy / Economics / Re: Which Asian countries have the greatest influence on bitcoin? on: May 26, 2021, 10:05:34 AM
It's not overhyped, how come the prices could go down in the instance that China announces something negative for the bitcoin market. I think that if your country can move markets, it is influential in my book.
China has progressive in many sectors, they don't abandon traditional investments. the volume of the market they have in crypto has a big contribution
in various Asian countries there are also good developments
I would agree that they are progressive but the problem is that coupled with their progress is that they are violating a lot of human rights that I can't really be on their side in terms of progress. Also, their contribution to crypto is just that they have a lot of people that are interested and the state also bought a lot of bitcoin.
1155  Economy / Economics / Re: Elon Musk really has the ability to manipulate the bitcoin market on: May 26, 2021, 09:25:46 AM
So is millions of influencers in almost every social media platforms, the only difference is that Elon has the money and influence to manipulate the market at a really noticeable pace.
1156  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think Elon is manipulating the market? on: May 26, 2021, 08:45:59 AM
He have to be careful about his tweets. I hope he don't make cryptocurrency community don't like him anymore. In my point of view, he and his company must keep have good image because not all people like electric car. Many people only care about their convenient, pride, price, capacity and etc. They don't think too much about environment.
Why does he have to be careful though? He doesn't live to impress everyone and everyone should live like that too. Also, the community is a bandwagon when it comes to people that influences the market, pretty sure that they will be going to ease up on him when he becomes the reason for the next big pump of the market.
1157  Economy / Economics / Re: Organised crime on: May 26, 2021, 08:05:01 AM
Why would they do that though? They won't get anything from it but the ire of the community which is steadily increasing by the year. Also, they won't be able to reduce crimes with that and people will find a way to use bitcoin even though it becomes illegal.
1158  Economy / Economics / Re: No new millionaires come from stock market in 2020/2021 on: May 26, 2021, 05:37:18 AM
You don't even have a data to back up your claim that there was no newly minted millionaire from the stock market so I don't think that there is no such thing as no new millionaire, remember that there was the Gamestop fiasco and if you made the right investment at that time there, you could've been a millionaire.
1159  Economy / Economics / Re: We exited the bear market earler than expected on: May 25, 2021, 02:11:20 PM
I'm sorry to say this but another Elon's tweet helped a small recovery recently. This isn't good, the market needs to forget about following influencers, this doesn't help on the long run.
For what it's worth I'd have expected a lower price right now and I could have been happy about it: I'm stacking furiously at these levels.
The market will have a hard time forgetting influnecers, they have the user base that follows what ever they say so we can't do much about that. Also, instead of getting rid of them, I think the best thing that we can do is to use it to our advantage.
1160  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto is our last hope for financial independence - John McAfee on: May 25, 2021, 12:55:54 PM
Well, he is right about it though, with how things are right now, I think that cryptocurrency is the only one that can easily be accessed if we want to become involved to our finances. I am a student and if I didn't know about crypto, I would probably be broke right now and all the things that I want to buy would probably be a pipe dream for me.
