1181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I lost all my crypto gains this not fair! on: May 22, 2021, 12:12:52 PM
You are at a 50% loss, if it was me, I would continue hodling it but the decision is up to you as to how you are going to deal with this. Always remember that the charts of a lot of crypto in the market only goes up in the long-term, look at bitcoin during the 2018 winter and compare it to what is happening now, it is pretty much higher than the past.
1182  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can not crash on: May 22, 2021, 09:37:35 AM
Every people talking about bitcoin will crash and dip into 25k but I think it will go higher up to 100k.
Seems to like before one year ago it's dip to 16k again it pump to 65 k
To be honest it could go anywhere and we have no clue what happens next, they might be right or you might be right. 100k isn't a far fetch price though, there still a lot of months left for it to happen this year.
1183  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: buying crypto currencies and then travelling on: May 22, 2021, 08:41:08 AM
As long as you have the necessary information to access it, I think that there will be no problem for you to encounter. Somethings fishy with what you are doing though, you seem to be evading someone and you are trying to hide your money so you can get away with all of it since a lot of cash is impossible to bring in an airport.
1184  Economy / Economics / Re: Are we entering bear market? How low will btc go in the coming year? on: May 22, 2021, 08:00:45 AM
I don't think that the price will go down to 10k or so. It seems like we will continue to see the price between 30k and 40k for some time more. To me, it won't go under 30k and it will start recovering again.
We did say that bitcoin will not go down below 50k but it did so I think that there is still a possibility that bitcoin will go down below 10k or so. And if that were to happen, we might expect a really pump than the last time.
1185  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Oh, market manipulation is finally bad now? on: May 22, 2021, 05:39:27 AM
The fact that he believes he can manipulate the market as he like has now backfired with little help of cryptocurrency ban placed by the Chinese government. Now, his tweet can no longer do the redemption works he thought it would do.
That is not the point because people were happy that he tweets aabout bitcoin to pump its prices and we didn't care because we benefited from it and now that he has a different opinion than us, everyone loses their shit even though it is a temporary thing.
1186  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Pizza Day 2021 on: May 22, 2021, 04:52:31 AM
time to celebrate tomorrow. I will buy pizza and soda drinks that I will enjoy with my family on bitcoin celebration day tomorrow. it will be a simple and fun party
Make sure it's Papa Johns and the soda should be Pepsi to stay true to the original 10k bitcoin pizza. I wasn't sure about the drinks though. I might do some celebration too in tonight's dinner.
1187  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it good time to invest in bitcoin? on: May 22, 2021, 04:13:02 AM
I would go on to say that yes it is a good time to invest in bitcoin, now that it is dangling in low prices, you will be able to buy one for a good price. And I would suggest that you should go on a long-term or you can probably set a price that you are going to sell your bitcoin.
1188  Economy / Speculation / Re: Traders, y'all buying, selling or on the fence? on: May 22, 2021, 03:33:24 AM
The time to buy the coin is already passed. And now it is the time to sell and wait for another time to buy back. That is what the traders did in the market and they will search for the time to buy and sell. But they can wait for a while to see the chance to enter the market and if they can not found that time, they will not force to enter the market. They will act based on the market situations and not because of the other people suggestion because the wise trader will try to research before the act.
The problem is that it might take a long time before we see a price worth buying back so that would be really difficult to do. You might be able to do all the research in the world but traders also have to be patient regarding this because as I said, the best time to buy sometimes takes a long time to arrive.
1189  Economy / Speculation / Re: Too late? on: May 21, 2021, 02:47:51 PM
The price of bitcoin now is really low and I think that it is a good opportunity to buy one right now because it is basically a discounted price and everyone wants to get profits so buying right now is going to be a good profit for you when the prices go back up again.
1190  Economy / Speculation / Re: What goes up must come down on: May 21, 2021, 01:53:09 PM
Without a doubt those investors who recently crashed and got burned will be far more cautious and pass on their tales of loss to new investors. (Otherwise they'll be bound to repeat their past mistakes adinfinitum.)
If they repeat the same mistake then shame on them because they are greedy people who wants to make a lot of money in such a short time in an investment that is volatile. Hopefully, newer investors don't have to suffer the same fate as this old investors. Also, what goes down must come up, this is just a stint in the ever long history of bitcoin.
1191  Economy / Speculation / Re: Winter is here.... on: May 21, 2021, 11:15:53 AM
you only lose your money if you sell, as the yearly cycle have reflected even if the price go down so much it will eventually go back up again, but you can't be really sure whether the market gonna turns bearish or instead continue to be bullish.
That's right, but not everyone is going to be able to do that because some of them are using bitcoin as a way to earn a living and they can't afford to hodl it for too long because they have short-term goals maybe if we are all flexible in terms of our goal, we might be able to last in this winter.
1192  Economy / Speculation / Re: Next big news? on: May 21, 2021, 10:30:26 AM
Now that BTC is at $40k, we need some next good news to give it a push. In crypto, one good news doesn't give that much push that one bad news give pull to.
We hope we don't hear any negative news as that can bring down BTC at $30k.
Although it can give opportunity to many new people to enter BTC market at low price, it will also help whales accumulate more.
We just have to wait but you are right that we need good news with all this panic incurred by Elon, China, Binance investigation and general public panic selling, I do think we need to be given some break but I don't think that we don't have any right to ask for it. If the prices go down then so be it, we have nothing to worry if it goes down because of negativity, the market will go back up as long as there are demands.
1193  Economy / Economics / Re: The Downfall of TSLA on: May 21, 2021, 09:34:21 AM
Is Tesla operating? If yes then there was no downfall, though their stocks are suffering right now, I don't think that they won't be going away anytime soon, I think downfall is not the right word because it implies that Tesla will not be able to recover from this which isn't true since they are a revolutionary company.
1194  Economy / Economics / Re: On the future of Cryptocurrencies on: May 21, 2021, 08:47:04 AM
I am positive that if bitcoin weren't to be successful now, at least it will spark a new generation of cryptocurrencies with better use-cases and economical applications besides just being a boring store of value. We can't really expect updates on the current bitcoin we have right now unless Satoshi finally gets his ass up and works on bitcoin's scalability, which is of course nigh-impossible. So at the very least, we can hope for a better future for cryptocurrencies.
There are bitcoin core developers so I don't think that we need to have satoshi to have the scalability of bitcoin plus, I think that satoshi has already covered that part before he vanished from the public eye.
1195  Economy / Economics / Re: Year 2021-2022 will be very Good and very Bad. on: May 21, 2021, 07:50:44 AM
Although it looks fine on the outside, the global economy is not in a good state. The pandemic has been ongoing for more than one year and many of the economies around the world are just surviving because of stimulus measures. But these measures can't go on for ever. If the government indulges in unlimited printing of fiat currency, then ultimately the inflation rate will increase and that will destroy the savings of the middle class (for the rich, it may not impact them much because most of their assets are in the form of real estate and other assets that are protected from inflation).
We are slowly recovering plus the vaccines are rolling out and the longer the time it takes the more it gets faster to recover, look at USA they are slowly opening businesses already now that the health department has made mask wearing an option. I don't think that we will have to worry about the risk of inflation via printing money, a lot of economist have studied the phenomenon and they think that we don't have to worry about that a lot, this is not the first rodeo of USA in giving stimulus cheques for their people, remember that they have recessions, it's just that this is an extreme measure.
1196  Economy / Economics / Re: Real Truth about money economy and Investment on: May 21, 2021, 07:16:48 AM
You are very wrong, anyone can learn about financial instruments even if they didn't go to these prestigious schools, I know how stocks work a little but I didn't go to those Ivy League schools, does it mean that my knowledge about stocks is invalid or wrong? I don't think so.
1197  Economy / Economics / Re: Risk of Inflation in Economy. on: May 21, 2021, 06:19:42 AM
This case is worsened in my Country, every day you witness a change in the price of goods and services and this is affecting the purchasing power of the poor and even the middle class. I hope very soon things will fall back into the right place.
You are right about the difference of inflation in each country but the common problem that these poor countries have is that they could easily control these inflation to a sustainable level if they aren't corrupt. I don't think that we have to vilify inflation as something bad because if it moves in a sustainable way, it can be an indicator of a growing country.
1198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online gambling becomes popular on: May 21, 2021, 05:49:47 AM
That's the problem with urban areas but I think that if you have a hobby even before the pandemic, I am sure that you can do other things besides gambling. You can do gardening in an urban area if you have the needed things to do it just to be clear.

If you have practices before this pandemic surely you can easily adjust and not to focus with gambling.

You mentioned those activities that you can do and spend your time, it's good to kill some time if you already feel some boredom in your

boring day, You can also do some online education or find other things that beneficial since you have more time in front of your computers or gadgets you can add some skills by learning it online.
That could be a great alternative to gambling which doesn't do you any good because a lot of people that I know especially teachers achieved a lot of online certificates this pandemic because they have attented a lot of online seminars/education, I think the biggest determinant would be the drive of someone whether how will they handle boredom that is brought by this pandemic.
1199  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker Freerolls or Tournaments with Guaranteed Prize? Or what's your preference? on: May 20, 2021, 10:57:11 AM
If they are building a reputation for the site then probably a guaranteed prize would be the best one but the problem with this one is that it heavily favors users instead of the business which is going to be detrimental for their long-term survivability in the market. I would go for guaranteed prize too as I am a player but if I was on the other side, I would go for the free rolls because it is much cheap and there is a low chance that someone is going to win with those free rolls.
How is there a low chance someone will win? In a freeroll there is always gonna be a winner and the site pays that outta their pocket. In a guaranteed, the players make the prize pool and the site loses nothing outta pocket unless not enough players enter to cover the guarantee.
What I am trying to say is that rolls have a  chance for palyers to win or not win so choosing between the two, I would go for something that will guarantee me something even if I lose compared to trying to fight the odds just for a really small chance to win.
1200  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto has become the rich man's playground... on: May 20, 2021, 09:57:00 AM
So far, this is not quite true. But soon it will be so.
If it is going to be true better to have some bitcoin to hodl because they will probably pump the prices really high and you have to be able to get as much bitcoin market pie when that happens because the dumps are going to happen really fast.
