121  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Joe Biden is a senile, old Bitch on: March 23, 2024, 11:43:13 PM
We'll, how come you people in your ever glorious country of USA don't do anything about it? There's always the option to elect the right people to the position of a president if you ask me so how come y'all don't do anything about that? People got the power, maybe the corporate masters try to say they own us but banding together and you'll see that they're completely wrong. I don't think that Old Joe is even the person that's deciding what's the next move for the country anymore, he's senile and a bitch as you've said so there's no way that he's ever going to be improving anytime soon, maybe you guys should learn who to put in that oval office after this disgrace of an old man.
122  Economy / Speculation / Re: You have a better chance with Bitcoin now than the next minute! on: March 23, 2024, 09:46:47 AM
I really like speculation like this because it based on price history and not with other bullshit out of the world predictions. This kind of speculation on price is very to easy to grasp due to a clear pattern on the price growth.
The new ATH before halving hasn't happened before in bitcoin so I don't see how this could be a good prediction that's based on the market history when bitcoin already made history with this new one, you're right about the factor about the ETF which means that OP's prediction for the last price for this year wouldn't be a possibility since the volume is much higher than the last time because of ETF, there's more investors now although they're not directly investing in bitcoin, they're still affecting the price.
123  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy Buy Buy or Sell Sell Sell? on: March 23, 2024, 08:50:28 AM
Ive been hearing about situations where someone buys a coin for a certain rate and not quite long after,  the said coin drops in value, or  someone sells his coin for a certain rate and then it appreciates just after.
What's your take on this? Given the period we're in is it buy time or sell time?
My take on this is that person is the kind of person that easily falls for get rich quick schemes, they don't deserve or they shouldn't be in the crypto market if they don't have the patience to wait for a crypto to go up in price or have the nerves to not panic when the price suddenly drops because that's bound to happen a lot in crypto market, some of these people though are just miseducated and misinformed so it's not really their fault that they're like that, they can be change if they find the right people to teach them the things that they need to know about crypto, some are lucky enough to have this while there's others that will learn the hard way, by losing a lot of money before doing some form of research regarding a certain cryptocurrency.
124  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC go back to $40K - $30K range before a bigger rally? on: March 23, 2024, 08:15:54 AM
I do hope that it does go even lower, really want to buy myself a lot of bitcoin, I'm good for a loan in my work so I know that I've got a lot of money at my disposal that I can inject all in to bitcoin in the case that it goes down so low that everyone's panicking to get out. I know that what I'm about to do with the loan is really weird and wrong for many of you but trust me on this one because I know that I can pay it off easily and there's literally no interest to the loan and I've got enough money for my basic stuff that when this happens, I'd probably just be giving up my weekly expenses on eating out and fund for a new shoes, that's about it so I'm confident at doing that and the money that's going to go back to me when I profited from that investment would probably be enough. I think that the more that bitcoin goes lower, that's going to be a guarantee that it will pump much higher, this has happened before to bitcoin so it's not a senseless rambling.
125  Economy / Economics / Re: Ignore Financial accountability to your detriment on: March 23, 2024, 07:37:25 AM
Financial responsibility must be taken seriously as one can never improve without being financially conscious. Before you can get rich you must first know what your financial house is like. When you know what your financial house looks like it will be easier to start your journey to financial independence. It can be said that the first step in this journey is to know the financial house well. Also when you budget your expenses you will find that there are many unnecessary expenses that you can eliminate if you want.
Duh, in this world that's made to go around by money, being financially responsible is probably the least that you can do so you won't go homeless, if this wasn't the case, we'd never care about money. I'm curious about this financial house that you're talking about though, it's the first time that I've heard of such term, is this like your financial goal or something like and is being embodied by your house? I can agree with you on that last one, a lot of my expenses these past few months wouldn't have been possible if I don't have a budget for the expenses, helps a lot when you can recall where you've spent your money, that way you know what you can take away and see the potential money left over if you remove some of the excess or unnecessary expenses in your budget.
126  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and it's holders in our society on: March 23, 2024, 06:57:58 AM
Really nice of your gut feel coming in clutch when it comes to your crypto stuff, I guess it's some sort of divine intervention from Satoshi that you've saved yourself the headache of having your bitcoins and other crypto stolen from you, I guess some people really don't like the idea of playing fair so they use violence and cheat the system so people that are playing the fair game is being taken advantage by them. It's not the right thing to do but what can we do about it right? Either we do something about it by being careful and vigilant or we fight back against these oppressive forces, as much as I believe that there's other options to deal with this kind of people, maybe it's time that we fight fire with fire? That's just my conclusion to what happen to @Adbitco, it's not fair that these people are doing all of this while at the same time, getting away from this kind of thing. If that's not the right solution now, maybe it's time that we do something about how to be a low profile bitcoin or crypto enthusiast, I can say we can start by shutting up about it when we're not asked about it, that's a good start, not yapping your information to people that you don't know can prevent those muggings at the least and maybe style your look like you're not easily bullied or that you can fight, that way, they'll be hesitant to mess with you.
127  Economy / Economics / Re: Federal Reserve Meeting Today! March 20, 2024 on: March 23, 2024, 05:27:17 AM

These ships include Chinese ones. We already know US is enemy number one of China and in that "competition" China now has a much bigger advantage and is swallowing Europe as everything coming from China remains cheap while the other way around (exports from Europe to China) remain expensive. That also means a much bigger trade deficit with China.
China is definitely competing when it comes to exporting products and shipping but if I'm being honest and from what I've seen in what happens inside China as filmed and reported by unbiased Chinese insider reporters, that advantage that they've got over US isn't going to make any difference, that money that they're getting is probably going to go back to recoup their real estate loses in the Mainland, lots of ghost condominiums are being destroyed because no one can afford them anymore and a lot of them that have tenants in it are on the verge of collapse with the use of tofu dreg as a foundation for those buildings just to cut corners in their budget and they can pocket even more, the real estate company that's controlled by China, last I've heard is looking for a bail out because they're the ones that lost a in the recently demolished real estate properties.
128  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Everything falls on leadership on: March 22, 2024, 11:55:58 PM
A good leader is a blessing to a country.  Leaders make many promises but how many promises they keep!  Most of their promises are false. But not all leaders are the same. Because in the pages of history we have found the names of many leaders who have given their lives for the common people. Such leaders are still there in every country.  .But they are lost due to the excess of bad. So don't be disappointed. You have to improve yourself and the country by voting for a worthy candidate.
Not a blessing anymore, with how many countries have this bad leaders and corrupt governments there are in existence, I think that it's a wake up call for a country that unless they work together with that good leader, they're not going to see any kind of changes or improvement in their lives or their country, a good leader unites the people and in a way that even if you don't vote or support that leader, you can still see the reason why that leader runs things that way. If we want to see the bloom of good leaders, I think that it's high time that we also point out the fact that it's the average masses that will create that good leader, if the average people are indifferent to the struggles of those in the poverty line, it's probable that we're not going to see any good leader being elected any time soon.
129  Other / Politics & Society / Re: A new Russian-Finnish war is coming on: March 22, 2024, 11:08:17 PM
@swogerino is right, Finland won't be an easy campaign if Russia ever plans to invade because of that very fact that they've got that record of not yielding any territory to them not to mention that Russia can't probably afford any kind of split in this campaign against Ukraine and it's going to be a mistake for Putin or the Kremlin to even do so because they don't know what's going to happen next, Finland is a member of the EU right? Wouldn't this be a big thing for EU if Russia also starts doing offensive on them? I hope that this is true though, that Russia wouldn't push through any plans against Finland because the more players involved in this war, the more it's likely that we're going to see the doomsday clock get to the last minutes to midnight.
130  Economy / Economics / Re: Banking on people's ideas, visions, and talents. on: March 22, 2024, 09:57:38 AM
Have you ever met individuals with insane and brilliant ideas that got you wondering, how come he knows all this and it's not even reflected in his life? Some could give you real business ideas that could change a whole generation but that's all they can do, they can't bring it to reality and all their ideas only end on the discussion ground and never come to life.
I think that the reason that they don't make their ideas a reality for themselves is that they're not aware that it's a good idea, you know they just see that their idea is a good and the common sense solution for a problem or that they don't have the drive or what it takes to materialize that kind of dream, this is circumstantial though as there are some that are poor but got the drive, there's also the opposite which is the people that have the money but don't have the drive, always doubtful that they can do it and always gets discouraged when things don't go their way which happens a lot when you start a business. I can totally see this idea of using other people's ideas to fuel inspiration for your next prospect business or service or whatever it maybe, the only downside to this one is that if that person you've appropriated or stolen that idea from caught on that you've used their idea to make money, they're probably going to find a way to make sure that you pay them back something.
131  Economy / Economics / Re: China India tensions on impact to Global economy possible china India war on: March 22, 2024, 08:45:37 AM
I don't think that the tension is going anywhere besides being just a tension, China is only bark and no bite, I mean look at what they're doing with Taiwan and many other countries in the SEA region, they are openly hostile but they're really scared to initiate any kind of violence, they're a weak country that's pretending to be strong and no matter what the CCP says about their plan being for the long-term, China is still a pup when it comes to the big dogs club like Russia and USA, they're only strong because they've got a really good information dampening for their citizens so the only thing that they consume are propaganda plus they're both founding members of the international group BRICS and that's a bad face for BRICS if they've got an internal strife. If I'm choosing sides, I'd say that India will take the win on this one because they've got the geological advantage in my opinion.
132  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which player are you? on: March 22, 2024, 07:45:20 AM
I personally just like sports betting and rarely I use casino or related games from casinos. I prefer to bet only on sports or esports because in my youth I did a lot of sport and the way I see gambling it's a bit different and I can only engage with betting just when it comes to football , basketball or lately hockey. If I bet on other sports , I can't engage with the game or if I can't watch it I also can't bet on it. I'm a big picker when it comes to bets.  Grin
That's an understandable thing to do if not reasonable, you only bet on the sport that you have an understanding, in fact I'd go on the limb and say that you should only bet on sports that you have an idea what the hell is happening and that you're also having fun at doing that sport if not watching or at the least interested because otherwise, you're not going to get anywhere and you'd be wasting your time and money asking how and why you've lost or why did you pick that team, basically what I'm saying is that you've got no justification betting on something that you'd rather be ignorant about. I do casino most of the time so I'd say that I'm the casino kind of player, love poker and slots since once the opposite of the other, basically a brain dead game and a highly skill oriented game.
133  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Paper Betting- Would You Consider it if you Were to Start Sports betting Again on: March 22, 2024, 06:56:15 AM
Good idea but I'm sure that some people here would disagree and say that they should just do it for real and bet money while practicing and in this case, relearning. I do think that it's a neat idea and I don't see any problem in doing this one too because it's a good help to gauge how good you are with your betting and your analysis of the teams and the games. I think that practicing your bets or any kind of practice including the trading is an underrated thing for many of us, it's such a good way to make sure that you're ready for what to come and at the same time make sure that you're going to be confident with yourself and that you won't be quickly fumbling on things that you're doing, I advocate for people to be doing this kind of thing even if some might think that it's stupid.
134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Making decisions while betting on: March 22, 2024, 06:06:46 AM
Emotion always fuck us a lot. so for gambling we should control our emotion first.unable to control emotions can lead to huge losses through gambling. when one cannot keep his emotions under control, he will make bad decisions and start placing big bets. I totally agree with you that using 1-5% of weekly or monthly income for gambling is a standard strategy. adhering to this can save us from gambling addiction and it can protect us from major losses
Maybe that's the case for people that are lead by their emotions, I think that rather than training to be emotionless, why not embrace those emotions and at the same time and not be a slave to them, you're probably better off that way since that shows class rather than being an edgy teenager trying to bottle it up. That's a really low end if you ask me and it shouldn't be that way, maybe make it 10% if you're not earning 6 digits a month so you can make the most out of your gambling habit, 1% will only matter when the number is in the millions up to billions of income so don't do that to yourself, be generous when it comes to your habit at the least, if you're in control of that anyway, you won't go overboard so gamble away. If you're consistently gambling at 1-5%, it's still probably and addiction although an unsatisfying one especially if you don't make a lot of money.
135  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Man bet his life savings on 1 spin of Roulette on: March 22, 2024, 04:12:15 AM
I often to see this on youtube video. Indeed, sometimes things like this are quite brave, but when you are sure you will win it all, there's no harm in trying. because there is only one life and chance. You have to try this only chance, and I am really sure he will regret it when didn't try it. and I'm sure he probably has good instincts about that. There was no way he would dare risk all his savings on that just like that, It seemed like he heard a whisper from his conscience that he would definitely win.
If you're sure that you're going to win it all and that there's no other way that you can lose that spin, throw, or deal then you'd be in the best position to just do it anyway and gamble all that money away because you're going to get all your money back. I do think so too that he's got the instinct to bet that much money without the regard for what could happen when things don't go in your favor, I now wonder what could've happened to him if the opposite happened, this man's going to be homeless for sure or maybe do something really scary. I'm also worried with the fact that this is spreading on social media, who knows what kind of people are going to see this and see it as an inspiration to gamble their life savings away too, I can only imagine.
136  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does pragmatic play bonus buy really worth it? on: March 22, 2024, 03:31:12 AM
It seems like you're caught up in the excitement of playing Pragmatic Play games on Stake.com. While the graphics are impressive, the returns from the bonus buy feature might not be worth it especially if you're frequently losing. It's puzzling why many users still opt for it, considering the high cost and limited winnings. Sure Pragmatic's games are visually appealing but when it comes to winning, they might not be your best bet especially without a 0.1$ minimum bet option. Exploring other providers with better returns could be worth a shot
The reason is probably because of the bonus, they can get more plays out of their deposit so with more plays means more chances of winning, you don't have to get why these people are still gambling because they're the type to not care what others have to say about their habits which is a good thing and I always support whatever makes people happy and those stuff don't mess or abuse other people so as long as they do that, I don't see any reason to question what they do or be mad about it. Regarding exploring other providers though, maybe it's a thing that should be done by OP once he gets bored of Pragmatic's games, there's a lot of games that Pragmatic showcases so it's not going to be anytime soon that OP would take a look at another provider, maybe on a whim he'd do it but forcing or advising OP to do so right now isn't really going to be a good idea.
137  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Democracy or Oligarchy? on: March 21, 2024, 11:48:54 PM
We haven't achieved true democracy yet in my opinion so I'd still strive for democracy to be the ruling governmental system in all countries. In regards to the question of is it ever an oligarchy, I would say that it is but not in a sense that it's a blatant one, these corrupt politicians knew that if they ever blatantly show off their power with impunity to their people, they risk getting abdicated from that throne either by force or through other peaceful means so they don't show that way, they're also good at appealing to the dumb poor, they create the promises and hope that the poor people would not think twice about voting for them. As I've said, we haven't achieved democracy yet because if the candidates can influence the voters by making false promises, it's not really free will that they got voted on.
138  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling friendly countries on: March 21, 2024, 09:02:41 AM
I believe Monaco has the best in terms of getting your maximum payout of the gambling that you have. Most of the casinos there, I read, that it's really luxurious and you know that it's expensive and a reason to let people go in there and gamble.

Maybe Macau as well? I think it is the main purpose of people when going there. It's always because of the casino and I read somewhere that it has low tax rates for players.

Are you planning to go international OP?
I don't know about Macau, they're an administrative region of China so I don't think that they'd ever want to consider having that kind of set up that they're not getting a big piece on the gambling business through taxes. I don't think that Monaco is the best one, is there like a link that says otherwise about them being the best gambling haven in the world? I'd like to check it out. I don't want to do a lot of Google search but I do believe that whatever country is the most gambling friendly when we're talking about taxes, there's a possibility that the country that would do that is a country don't mind the taxes, meaning that they're rich already in other aspects, that can be a factor too.
139  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Feelings on losing the match and the bet on: March 21, 2024, 08:26:04 AM
Definitely would feel bad but not sad, that's part of the game, there has to be a winner and there's no way that they didn't give their all so I know for a fact that I can't do much besides controlling how I feel when I'm watching my favorite team losing especially on the times that I've placed a bet on them. I guess when this happens, it's a matter of catharsis and self-reflection for me because that's how it should be, that you should always consider how you would react on things and never let it lead you to something miserable. It might be unbearable but you can always move on, whenever I do this, I don't even take a day anymore to be mad about this kind of thing from happening, I just groan a little then move on, too many stuff in my life is happening to dwell too long on my favorite team losing.
140  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It’s unlikely that anyone besides you will be happy with your winnings. on: March 21, 2024, 06:52:50 AM
I would like to discuss this topic, the joy of victory. Much has been written about this, but nevertheless it will always be relevant. Many players naively believe that someone other than themselves should be happy about their winnings.
Can be different for each individuals as there's no absolute behavior for each people, some people you can definitely talk about when it comes to wins and losses, some you really don't want to be doing that because you know them as a person. There's also the irony that sometimes you tell it to your loved ones and they're the one that will betray you for the money and when you tell it to your friend, they're the one's that don't envy what you've won and would even celebrate with you so yes, there's no absolute. The only thing that's absolute is probably the fact that it's up to you who you're sharing that story of your winnings because at the end of the day, you'd want to share that because it's the healthiest thing that you can do since it helps your confidence and self-esteem.
