281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos team identity on: February 21, 2024, 05:33:37 PM
I like the idea of them revealing their identity but if you think about it, there's the matter of personal privacy that this people really need to take care no matter, these casinos that you want the team behind to reveal their faces are not a big casino website compared to some and so they want to make sure that they can still keep that part. I'm all in favor of revealing the identity but we can't force then to do it anyway, the team should be the one to willingly do it.
282  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does casino streamers have influence in your gambling life? on: February 21, 2024, 04:42:01 PM
Not really, I've lived my life with a mindset that if I can help it, I won't do what other people are telling me to do, that way I'm responsible for my happiness and not because someone just told me to do this thing. They don't dictate what I should do but influencers are really good way to promote your brand and at the same time make it seen by thousands of people that are tuned in to that streamer. Maybe the only influence that they do in my gambling life is that they're the reason why I check new games in some casinos that I've played.
283  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Couple won the jackpot but split soon after! on: February 21, 2024, 03:56:56 PM
It's not that surprising, 3 months isn't a lot of time to know someone after all, they both didn't know that they wouldn't be able to stand each other if they've got so much money or they just finally thought that they've got more option more than ever because they've got more money. Relationship is like building Rome, it's not built in a day so it takes patience and understanding and consideration to build an everlasting one, it seems that they both don't have that so they end up splitting or they might've been other reasons why they've split up and it just coincided with the win.
284  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Are children born out of wedlock is still a blessing from God? on: February 21, 2024, 03:03:25 PM
Well, it's not their fault they've been born out of wedlock, their parents will always be at fault and to some extent, the society that they're living in because if they weren't raised in a society that scorns and mocks children and people that's involved in such a complicated relationship then we won't see this mindset of whether something is a blessing or not.
285  Other / Politics & Society / Re: dump the Trump? on: February 20, 2024, 04:47:58 PM
Whoever's on the lead, if it's still a geriatric one then we all know that the US citizens that are mostly comprised of working adults are definitely going to get the short end of the stick again, look at the average age of tenured senators and congressmen, they're too old to be deciding for the fate of the country, they're just beefing up their retirement money and benefits before their terms all end. People need to vote for someone that will be able to relate to the more general population.
286  Economy / Economics / Re: Why no info about how serious are USA financial situation now ? on: February 20, 2024, 03:48:10 PM
Lol, if US will collapse, there will be many poor countries have been collapsed because they're not even able to reach 50% of US's GDP. It's really far to expect US will collapse, it won't happen in our generation, so there's no point to discuss.

Palestine might able to collapse because the war isn't stopped yet and Israel is keep hunting the Palestinians.
They won't collapse, they're the number 1 currency that's used in the global market right so how do can someone think that they're going to be collapsing anytime soon, and I think that if there ever is a collapse, they're not going to be gone that quick, they'll probably recover from it like they did back in the Great Depression. Palestine will definitely collapse, the Israelis are killing them and stripping them barely of their lands so they'll definitely going to be gone soon if there's no heroic intervention that will stop the fighting.
287  Economy / Economics / Re: China are back to mining Bitcoin. on: February 20, 2024, 03:05:30 PM
I don’t think mining was ever totally eradicated in China. Obviously, the government clamped down on it though & most people follow the rules. If China was to publicly unban mining & allow all retail investors to buy Bitcoin it’d be very bullish for the price. Part of the reason we only hit 69k last bull run was due to China FUD.
The government never stopped, they just criminalized the individual miners or mining companies that are outside the circle of the party, that's the Chinese way of increasing their bitcoin stash, they want to make sure that they're going to get the bigger piece of the pie. It's really weird that they're only starting to do this now because the ordinals would've really helped them more with mining fees and they can collect those mining tax from individual miners. I do hope that this is really the case, definitely a big deal if they unban because China's a big consumer base in a lot of things, it's not a good idea if they're not in bitcoin market.
288  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC hit 1M ? on: February 20, 2024, 02:23:42 PM
~
even if we count a long years? bitcoin will not reach that value because if does then how come that this is a Currency when the value is more than how much it must be to use as payment option?
Don't be like that my guy, people said the same thing about bitcoin when it was still trying to earn the trust of a lot of people back then, when it was priced at around 1 dollar apiece, they thought that it's going to be the last price of bitcoin but then the growth just keeps on showing up, so I wouldn't stop believing that it's going to go down to that anytime soon. Regarding your worries, think about it this way, each satoshi till the last decimal is going to have a value.
289  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will it give fuel to skyroket for btc ? on: February 20, 2024, 12:06:08 PM
Will definitely fuel but I don't believe it would be enough to skyrocket the market, I think that the biggest scenario that it can help fuel more towards the price skyrocket is when the scenario that involves bitcoin is going to be involving a lot of people like what happened in stimulus checks, lots of people have been using theirs to buy bitcoin back then, it has to be the same as that to really trigger something bigger and I don't think that banks being involved in crypto is going to be that one fuel we're thinking of.
290  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC hit 1M ? on: February 20, 2024, 11:10:08 AM
It's not going to hit even this year, it's going to be taking a long time before it will ever do that not to mention that bitcoin hasn't even reached 100k yet, it's definitely going to be going there but for now, the high hopes that it will go to that will be rewarded by disappointment.
291  Economy / Speculation / Re: As Bitcoin Prepare for more Bull, What's your Decision on: February 20, 2024, 09:45:56 AM
To answer your question about my decision, I don't think that 60k is going to be my goal so this to me is just a passing number that's not even close to my target price so hopefully I'll still be accumulating at that time and be able to increase what bitcoin I'm currently hoarding right now. My plea to everyone out there, 60k isn't the right price to sell because bitcoin's going to be more than that.
292  Economy / Speculation / Re: WILL BITCOIN CONTINUE TO RISE on: February 19, 2024, 03:43:13 PM
Yes it will, that's the fact and it's really weird to me that a lot of people still don't believe that bitcoin is here to stay like, it's already been 15 uears since the Genesis, why do they still hate on bitcoin, that I don't know. In a short-term sense bitcoin doesn't look like it's going to rise much higher because there's going to be ups and downs along the way but if you think long-term for bitcoin then you're never going to be sorry, that's the reason why people are constantly preaching for everyone to hodl their bitcoin.
293  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Taylor vs Catterall - April 27 on: February 19, 2024, 09:28:24 AM
I haven't seen anyone talk about this rematch,
Probably because the fight was lackluster and they're not really that good of showman when it comes to hyping up the crowd so there's really not a lot of people that are talking about their fight and there's also the fact that it's a controversial split decision, that's probably one of the reason why not a lot of talks because of that issue.
What are your thoughts on this fight?
If Catterall does his job right now and knock out Taylor then he'll secure the belt and I think that's probably the strategy for Catterall's team, they don't want to settle with a split decision because that could mean that they're going to see another lose for themselves, it's not far off to think that this 2nd fight is going to end the same controversial decision.
294  Economy / Economics / Re: Why we should prioritize investment over saving on: February 19, 2024, 08:45:29 AM
Easy answer, saving isn't giving you profit, it only gives you the same amount that you can pull out whenever you need it in the future and saving is vulnerable to inflation especially if it's the piggybank kind of savings meanwhile with investing although you're risking the money because it grows or regress depending on the value of the investment but the point of investment is that the savings is growing and giving you a profit so totally agree with prioritizing investment over saving but the only advantage of saving in this comparison is that, you can pull out savings anytime as for investment, either you pull it out prematurely resulting in small profit or loss because you happen to pull out the investment at the time when the value of the investment was tanking or lower than your initial entry to that investment.
295  Economy / Economics / Re: saving vs investing - minimalism vs frugality on: February 19, 2024, 07:58:33 AM
Frugalist and minimalist lifestyle to me is pretty much the same, they both are cutting their ties to earthly desires and seek less amount of things to clutter their home, so I have a hard time finding their difference, maybe if we're talking about minimalism versus miser then that's a more apt fight because they've both have a difference that's striking.

When it comes to savings versus investing, I'd rather go for the investing because that way even if there's risk, my money will grow and in my opinion, investing is the evolved version of saving because you're not just letting your money stagnate on a piggy bank somewhere, you're making it work for you so you can reap the profits and still have some money left that's still saved and can still be used for emergencies.
296  Economy / Economics / Re: No petrol/diesel car sales by 2035/ Reality or dream? on: February 19, 2024, 07:17:28 AM
Tell that to the oil companies and the Arab regions that have a ginormous oil reserves, they wouldn't like the idea that their oil won't be as valuable as they are right now, there's a reason why we're making a meme out of people that have invented an alternative fuel for their cars or just generally inventing something that will help humanity while helping the environment being killed or disappearing after their inventions. For me, it's still a dream, besides the statement that I've said, look at Tesla and other electric powered cars, they don't seem to be performing really well compared to gas guzzling cars, they're also not that looking good compared to those cars, what I mean by that is I'd rather have the '67 Impala than a Tesla because it looks much cooler.
297  Economy / Economics / Re: Save money today so money would save you tomorrow. on: February 19, 2024, 06:44:31 AM
That's easy to say but think about the circumstances of each individual, it's unfathomable but we all know that they're different for each other which means that you can probably save but there's other person out there that can't do it because the situation that they're in doesn't allow them to save up, for example, a person that works a minimum wage has all that salary enough for them to survive the month with no extra because it's the exact amount and even at times they have to borrow to make ends meet. Sure saving money can be a really good thing and it will definitely help you, no doubt about that but remember that you need to straighten your priorities, if your money is only enough for survival mode then don't consider saving yet because you'll just spend that savings prematurely when the need for money inevitably happens, get a raise for your job or find other ways to make money so you can be comfortable saving money.
298  Economy / Economics / Re: Some persons lacks financial sensibilities on: February 19, 2024, 05:55:26 AM
Maybe the person that's gifted that money had no sense of timing, Valentine's Day is probably not the day that they should've taught their partner about financial responsibilities and how hard it is to make money. That day could've gone better if they just didn't mind that thing for that day.
Giving your girlfriend money instead of a gift is a bad idea. No wonder it's a bad idea around the world. It seems to me that the protagonist of the story doesn't understand women, to try to talk about money, or give her money the least ideal day of the year is Valentine's Day. And I am surprised by those who say that the one who did it wrong is the woman. They don't have a fucking clue about women either.
Dude I got to agree with this somewhat because the preference for gifts on this kind of occasion varies by the age, if it's young adult then definitely money is probably the worst thing that you can gift to them but if it's in the middle age or higher, money wouldn't be the worst thing that you can give to someone. This is just me but most gifts that are given to someone dear to us or we loved shouldn't be that expensive or cheap, it's the thought that counts as the saying goes. Regarding your surprise about women, there's a joke that I've heard that says that women hate other women or something like that unlike men.
