Max Verstappen chances after last race on Brazilian soil are again low, we have to be 100% honest, is sad for us the "neutral" fans because he is the only one who can bring some show against the McClaren dominance for this last races of the calendar, but reality check is only one, his chances are below 10% right now. If he hit the jackpot on Las Vegas  and both McClaren didnt score points and he wins maybe again can be on tracks.

Lol I think the bookies know more than us.  They wouldn't be laying a line that makes Verstappen to win the race based on a guess alone. 

But if you really think that Verstappen's chances are low to win the race then at what line would you give him to win?  Maybe something like 5.00?  With Norris and Piastri at say 2.75 and 3.50 respectively?

The current situation is indeed very difficult for Max, but as I said before, mathematically he can still have a chance to win the driver's championship title, so whatever Max and Red Bull do to get it, we should give credit to the effort and strategy they implemented until the end of the season and made McLaren nervous to be able to get both titles. At least the competition continues until the end of this season, and Red Bull proved that they are a team that remains competitive, even when they face McLaren who has been so dominant from the start of the season.

Red Bull's new power unit gives them a good advantage, because it means they can optimize the car's performance well, even compared to McLaren. Tbh, I don't really expect Max to win the championship this season - honestly, I'm leaning towards Charles, but damn Ferrari with their old-fashioned mindset is preventing that. Just hope that Max can do his best, and if he keeps the F1 competition from being boring like what Red Bull did in the previous season when they were too dominant. At least McLaren can't get the championship easily. But if Max manages to get the championship title, we will witness one of the miracles in F1 history.

That is just what the people want, what the fans want. Even if the last race ends with the same order, we have Norris win the title, Piastri second and Max third, even if nothing changes there, the fact that Max has a shot is the most important part and makes the races watched.

The new machine arrived late. Hoping Max Verstappen can become world champion is very unlikely with only 3 races left, meaning a maximum of 75 points are up for grabs. Lando Norris only needs 2 points to eliminate Max Verstappen from the world championship contention because the current points difference between Lando Norris and Max Verstappen is 49 points. Max Verstappen's focus is only on winning races, but he can't win the championship; that chance is 100% closed. Hoping Lando Norris always DNF (Did Not Finish) in the last 3 races is also very unlikely. Even in this week's Las Vegas race, Max Verstappen's chance of becoming world champion will be closed, even if he wins in Las Vegas. It is very easy for Lando Norris to get 2 points. The opportunity could open wide again if Lando Norris DNFs in the Las Vegas race. Besides Lando Norris, there is also his teammate Oscar Piastri in the standings table. In short, the chance is still wide open if Max Verstappen wins the Las Vegas race and Lando Norris DNFs, then the opportunity will open wide again.

Las Vegas is a bit different than other races, just like how Monaco is different, there are some that are different than some usual ones, and this is one of those. Why is it different? Because while being a street circuit, it has so much straights, and that means when the racers are not careful, there are big chances they will have a crash, because turning here is ruthless and scary to be fair.

Look at others, like f2 or whatever trying, you will see that it is not an easy one at all. It's street, it's not race track, it's just a regular street people drive on normal times, and that goes to show you that it is not an easy one at all in normal most cases to be going 300km per hour there. So when you think of this, you realize that only the great drivers have a higher chance here, and newbies will do very badly probably.

In FP1, Ferrari, Red Bullm and Williams looked quite strong, with McLaren in a lower position. As expected, the Las Vegas GP will be quite a difficult race for McLaren because this circuit is not very suited to the characteristics of their car, and the night temperature is very cold, which makes it more difficult for them to get enough grip. FP2 is underway, let's see if they can improve their position or stay in the middle position.

The Las Vegas GP qualifying session has just finished with Norris managing to get pole position. He managed to get pole position after successfully pushing in Q3 and finished ahead of Max who was in P2. Meanwhile, Williams managed to get P3 with Sainz finishing very narrowly from Max. It was really difficult for the drivers to keep their cars stable on the track during qualifying. They even used wet tyres in some part of the session. It's like a miracle there was no big accident. 

This is Norris' 3rd pole in a row by the way. He took it again by challenging the odds given for him. But as Verstappen is starting in 2nd place I expect a great race with a tough fight between them.

By the way no rain is expected for race time.

So if Norris wins this one, is that it?  He wins the driver's championship?  I mean there's just one race to go after this or does he still lose it all if he doesn't finish the next race and Piastri gets to win the race?

That would actually be hilarious.  But yeah, looking at the scores now...  If this race is the last race, there's already no chance for Verstappen to win even if he won the race and Norris, Piastri both got DNF's.

But overall I'm glad we got this season over and done with.  Can't wait for the next one with the new specs.

McLaren's duo was not DNF but disqualified in the race, meaning they were not allowed to race by the FIA. The FIA is a joke, it feels like déjà vu when Verstappen won his first world championship, also heavily helped by the FIA. Currently, in a critical position, the FIA might do the same thing by disqualifying 2 McLaren drivers at once. The FIA is really joking, clearly showing bias towards Verstappen.

The drama after the Las Vegas Grand Prix turned out to be even more intense than the race itself when two McLaren drivers were disqualified from the Grand Prix after an FIA investigation determined they failed to meet the minimum rear skid block thickness requirement - and this immediately disqualified them from second and fourth place. It was a shame because McLaren would have earned extra points in the title race, but the disqualification meant their efforts at the Las Vegas Grand Prix were wasted.

Max was incredibly fortunate that, in addition to winning the Las Vegas GP, his two title contenders were disqualified. It was a truly unbelievable situation, but it happened, and those who previously doubted his title chances this season were reassured by this result.

McLaren played their card in favor of Norris and psychologically knocked Piastri out of contention. Despite denials, Piastri lacks both the drive and ambition, as well as the racing spirit he displayed at the start of the season. Of course, a true champion should never give up the fight. I expected Piastri to fight tooth and nail against McLaren and lose the championship in a battle. Piastri has surrendered to the team, and I don't think he'll stay at McLaren for long.

It was such an amateurish mistake by McLaren honestly. You must be sure of this kind of important points in your car not to disappoint your drivers. Now Norris' title is at a bigger risk as the gap is down to 24 points.

It's still a tough job for Verstappen of course. But having a sprint race at this weekend could be some extra help. Norris can still secure his title by the end of the main race. A nice weekend is waiting for us.
