What's the line on Verstappen tho...  If the bookies lay a 5.00 line for him to win, it could make for a nice bet of 20 to win 100 bucks.   

And as for Norris, same thing.  If the bookies give his line enough value then it would be a +EV bet in the long run.

Norris @2.75 and Verstappen @5.00. Yeah, it'd be nice to give Max's win a try. 

That's not bad if you're willing to lose a little bit of money via a small bet.  But I guess it would be better to wait for a practice session or two to see if the line goes higher from 5.00.  If it does take it.  But if it goes lower than that then pass.

I'd rather see Verstappen struggle at FP1 and FP2 and bet that than wait for quali to bet on him as you never know what he could pull off at qualifying.  He'll end up at the first row or even at pole.  Lol.

He is already working at Ferrari but I haven't heard anything about him before. I guess they aren't able to convince Horner for the job then.

I watched Leclerc's crash and I hope it isn't a damage that can't be repaired until qualifying. At least the car didn't tore apart more like Tsunoda's crash in Imola which was really scary as you remember. It doesn't look like his fault. There must be an issue with the brakes as far as I can see from the replay. By the way Ferrari was going to bring upgrades here. I hope we see some progress in their results during qualifying and race both...

While Verstappen was finishing FP1 as the leader, Williams stepped forward by being the 2nd and 3rd. They were terrible in Spain so I hope they get better results in Canada.

This track is famous for some of the worse incidents that have ever happened in Formula 1 luckily without death or serious injury for anyone, let me remind you of that Kubica incident many years ago which most people may have forgot though it was one of the strongest back then in 2007. The fact that many drivers during qualifying or race go that near to the turn, last turn called wall of Champions make this track dangerous to say the least, except these so called small pickles, the entertaining is guaranteed as it has some really fast straights that all Formula 1 fans love. I believe we will see a McLaren domination based on the track characteristics though let's see, also Williams should be doing good as they have a very decent speed in long straights.

He is head of Ferrari endurance and I hope I don't have to remind how Ferrari is doing at WEC. They have won most prestigous Le Mans 24 hours race in a row. So, dude issuccessful at his work.
Yeah, Ferrari isn't oing good in F1, but I'm not sure that changing boss before new regulations in 2026 would be smart decision.

It was an unusual crash, I think the low grip made him unable to control his car - just like Hamilton who has a lot of experience on this circuit also had to spin at T10. But fortunately it was not a fatal crash, but because of the crash Charles could not participate in FP2 because they needed to replace the survival cell on his car. He should have been able to participate in FP3 later.
Although it is still too early to conclude, but honestly, seeing Ferrari's poor performance in this practice session I am not so sure about a good result in qualifying and the full race session later. But hopefully I am wrong about this.

As predicted no time set for Leclerc since he damaged his car on session 1 and they were unable to repair it in time.

FP3 is over and top 3 is like NOR - LEC - RUS.

Leclerc made a solid comeback after the crash. Williams drivers once again finished in top 10. This is a practice session maybe but the final one can give us a better idea. I think Williams will also do good in qualifying by making it to Q3 with both drivers.

Yeah, Ferrari isn't oing good in F1, but I'm not sure that changing boss before new regulations in 2026 would be smart decision.

By the way Vasseur also pointed out something that the main reason could not actually be the boss. Because Ferrari has changed numerous bosses so far. Did this change things much? Not at all.

He says something else needs to be changed actually... That thing should be the people handling the car's improvement honestly.

Qualifying was fun. Q3 was very exciting truthfully.

We got a Russell pole which was very unexpected for me.    I knew his performances during practice sessions but I didn't expect this much.

Norris was a huge favourite for the pole position by bookies before the session. But he messed up too big... Verstappen and Piastri come respectively right after Russell on the starting grid. Antonelli was also great by taking the 4th place.

Toprak really wants to catch up with Bulega's points who currently still occupy the first position in the WSBK standings. Because in the WSBK event at the Misano circuit this week, Toprak successfully achieved the first position since Race 1 and Superpole Race to Race 2 so that it has made Toprak successfully reduce the points gap with Bulega and currently Toprak is only 9 points away from Bulega. Ferrari is dominating in Hypercar era. Yeah, officially it's not factory team win, but we all know that in general, it's only because only 2 cars per team is allowed.
Very competetive race, when gap between top 4 teams is only seconds.
Kubica was key to their win - he spent over 10 hours behind the wheel, with over 3.5 hours stint in the end of race. Not bad for 40 years old man with one hand, right . Very happy for his after all challenges he had to go through.

Well unexpected win for Mercedes, as the past year sometimes they are just magic.
Surprising slow pace for Mclaren, how it is even possible? Not so many turns mean no much effect from flexy wings?

Norris once again proved that is the weak point between the Mclaren drivers.

Russell won the Canadian GP race - his first win of the season. Followed by his teammate, Kimi, who managed to get P3, which was his first podium in F1. Mercedes managed to put both of their drivers on the podium which was quite impressive considering how McLaren has dominated this season, but it seems that in this Canadian GP, ​​McLaren was a bit defeated, especially from FP2, Mercedes was quite fast, it seems that their minor upgrades worked.

Meanwhile, McLaren, their dominance was not seen in this race. In the early laps, Lando and Piastri were able to get the top 3 positions, but as the race progressed, their pace was just not enough, and they could only be in the top 5.
