The sprint race from the beginning was quite boring suddenly became more exciting on lap 13. The incident in the pit where Max damaged his wing after hitting Kimi, made Max lose his place, even though even with a damaged wing he was able to finish in P4, but unfortunately a 10-sec penalty made him unable to get points.

For Hamilton, he got points after finishing in P3, he was able to control his SF-25 well, unlike his teammate Charles who crashed and made him unable to join the sprint.

And Kimi who initially started in P1, had to be satisfied with finishing in P10. Even though people's expectations were quite good because he was able to get pole position in the sprint race, but unfortunately he was unable to maintain that position.

Too bad for Alonso, he got damage to his car after a heavy crash with Liam Lawson. Even though he was trying to get points, but unfortunately he couldn't get it.

Honestly, this sprint was already exciting, and I didn't think that the race would be as exciting as this sprint lol.

It must be the most enjoyable sprint race I have ever watched in my life.    That rain changed everything. Crashes and many other incidents...

Not seeing Verstappen? He got a 10-sec penalty because of unsafe release during pits. Yeah the cars pitted because the track started to dry. I'm sad for Antonelli though. That challenge with Piastri and touch with Verstappen killed his race.

I can't remember sprint with so much action. What's going on with Red Bull pitstops? They used to be best on this, but now they released Verstappen unsafely, in previous race their traffic light wasn't working.
Norris was very lucky with Alonso crash - safety car let him to win Sprint. Also feel sad for Antonelli. And Leclerc crash before formation lap - it looked like such rookie mistake, it wasn't even a corner.
Now it's less than 2 hours until qualifying, it should be dry.

One of the best one we got, this happens when you have some variables.

Ferrari was in god mode strategy with Lewis, if Lando wasn't lucky then Hamilton could even able to win the race due hotter tires and probably 4s advantage per lap over Mclarens for few laps.

Shame on Leclerc for the rookie mistake he did.

I think we have a problem in the sprint races with the accidents, since the sprint is pretty shor that gives us a problem, if you lost 4/5 laps taking out a damage car from the track is gonna be a disaster for the whole sprint.

About Leclerc, come on man you cant make this mistakes, you are not more a rookie or a youth, you are now a experienced driver.

Crazy how Lawson ruined Fernando Alonso's good race that he was doing and the only thing he got as a penalty is 5 seconds. It would also have an impact on the rest of the reasons since Aston Martin had to swap parts after that. The FIA is just a joke sometimes.
Kimi ruined a good chance to become the youngest pilot to win a sprint race but I guess crumbling under pressure is normal in such situation. Let's see what happens with the qualifier.

I guess we have to admit it, Verstappen is the best driver in here, seeing this last lap in Q3 for him which he did make a mistake in the beginning of the lap and also managed to score a super fast lap, the fastest ever here as a pole position. McLaren continues to have the fastest car yet not the most pragmatic drivers as both of them made errors, also Lando lost it in the last sector where he took the turn from the inside and lost a lot of traction by taking a lot of bumps in there, Piastri did the same he asked to much from his car only to lose it all since the first sector and it costed him dear, he starts 5th tomorrow after being always 1st or 2nd during all of the qualification, this track has also something to remember, like a curse, no one has ever won this race starting from pole.

This should be the last week of suffering for Hamilton and Ferrari, big upgrades coming next GP.

Yeah I doubted him at the begining of this season but this guy will always perform no matter what, you can't never count him out. It's been proven now that the RedBull car is not easy to drive, all his teammates have been outclassed with the same car. Checo, Lawson, Tsunoda.. no one can even compete, it's not even close. Some conspiracy theorists say that they sabotage the cars to make Max look better.. that is just ridiculous. He is probably the best driver nowadays, second is probably, Piastri, Rusell, Fernando.. hard to say. I wish the car didn't play such a big role in the results, but I doubt not even Max with an Aston Martin could be doing much. I hope 2026 brings a reset in the cars because the teams have been pretty much stuck in the same spots for a while.

Verstappen is a beast... He somehow manages to get the best out of a tractor.    McLarens were way below the expectations. Norris and Piastri both made mistakes during Q3.

This track is not a great one for overtakes. Therefore if Red Bull doesn't fail with strategies/pits, Verstappen can win the race too.

And Leclerc crash before formation lap - it looked like such rookie mistake, it wasn't even a corner.

It was also bad to see.    But both Ferrari drivers aren't satisfied with the state of the car this weekend. It isn't much easy to drive.

I don't expect much from Ferrari during the race unless they plan a good strategy just as they did during the sprint race.

We can only cross finger to have some fun raining race, the only problem is if we have some mayor crashes and that can destroy all the pace with some red flags.

I expect to see a battle in pit stops. Why? because i dont expect to see so much overtakings in the track, so the pit stop work is gonna be crucial.

I think there is high chance that race will not happen today or it's going to be long night. They already cancelled F1 Acedamy women race - rain was very heavy and therewas way too much water on truck. Now it's sunny and dry, but radars doesn't looks good - lot of rain is coming from the south:

It should reach track shortly before the race and it's not going end soon.

Things are looking much better now, clouds is moving away from the track, it's possible that we will have dry race.

The stupidity of Ferrari's strategy to make the right decision for their racers, it put Hamilton and Charles in a difficult position.

The next race is in Ferrari's hometown. If they still use stupid strategies like this, then it is likely that McLaren will get another podium.

I was also expecting a boring one due to thinking there wouldn't be many overtakes. But especially the early times in the race were really exciting. 

I didn't wait for anything good from Ferrari and that was what we watched. The car is in really poor condition. Even with the best strategy I don't think they would have been able to push for podium.

Great work by Piastri! His dedicated driving is helping him open the gap more. Why not go for his first title already?

Uh...  So Piastri is the new McLaren first driver now?    I think tensions will rise and Norris will look for the exit if the team starts to favor Piastri over him.  That Aston Martin seat will look very attractive if Verstappen rejects Stroll's offer.

I really think Verstappen will be at Mercedes at some point.  We'll see how they run when the new specs come out next year.

Piastri is driving on a whole another level. I am a big fan of Lando Norris but he is not showing any signs of trying to do better, like on that first turn, when he realized Max wouldn't give up the position, if Norris only had kept his second place, that's it, nothing more, then he would have won this race, because he would be right there.

Instead, Norris once again made a mistake, and that caused him to drop to sixth place, took so long to pass everyone, and then took at least that much to pass Max, which meant Piastri was already way ahead at that point. I hoped that Norris would win the title this season, but looking at how the season is going, Norris may lose, Piastri may be the winner at the end of the season if he keeps racing this good.

The link you included is broken. But there are rumors that Colapinto will replace Doohan because he can't meet Alpine's expectations. He doesn't get enough support to make him a good driver. But it's understandable that the pressure and him still adjusting to the car made his performance not so good. But if Alpine still replaces him with Colapinto, that's a bit cruel I think.

I think it will depend on weekends where the Redbull performs a bit better and then the rest is all Max talent getting the best out of the car. But Piastri is looking like a solid contentender now. Ferrari is again this year stuck in the 3rd or 4th position. Surprised to see Williams performance in this circuit. Sometimes other cars just perform a lot better in certain weekends.

Piastri to reach the position he is in now also through hard work and consistent performance. He also did not mind when McLaren favored Lando and did not listen to any input he gave to the team. But when he started to change the situation, and Lando felt that it was a threat to him, Lando could choose to respond by improving his performance and mentality or he could look for another team that could accommodate him with his childish nature. It's very simple. There are still many drivers eyeing the McLaren seat, and if Lando feels that he is not able to compete with Piastri, he can leave the seat.

I also just read the news and indeed the rumor is getting clearer that Alpine will replace Doohan with Colapinto ahead of F1’s race at Imola. But looking at his performance at the beginning of this season, I think that even though it was a cruel decision for Doohan, it was the right thing for Alpine to do. He seemed premature to be in F1. Even in the early days of Colapinto in F1, he was still able to score points. But Doohan still crashed often when driving his A525.

And also as I have said many times, F1 is not only about talent, but also money. YPF, Globant, Mercado Libre, Bizarrap, Ripio, Bigbox, Motorola, Quilmes, and several other sponsors who backed Colapinto are ready to partner with Alpine, if they want to replace Doohan with their favorite driver.
