This is why he is labelled as the King of Sachsenring and I think he will win the main race as well especially it will be a dry race (looking at the current weather).
Perhaps if he will not make a mistake, he will look more superior in the main race and maybe with a bigger gap to the other riders.
The only enemy for Marquez is himself, as long as he does not make a big mistake then there will be no one who can beat him.
As usual, with a dry race, I hope to see a better competitive race with some interesting overtaking by riders.

Unfortunately, today's race was a bit less exciting, as no rider was able to put up a fight against Marquez, and two riders from different teams who had been in second place crashed: Di Giantonio of the VR46 team and Bezzecchi of the Aprilia factory team. Both were in good positions for a podium finish, and both were riders their respective teams relied on, as their teammates, like Morbidelli, were out of the race due to injury and unfitness. Now I want to watch WSBK for Race 2 at Donington Park because it is also an exciting race for this weekend.

Russell shouldn't sign for a lower team than the ones in top 4 right now. As there is no room at Ferrari and McLaren he should just continue his career at Red Bull. 

Cadillac... I don't know about this. We literally have no idea about how fast their car will be right? For now at least. I don't think Russell would like to take that risk. He is one of the best drivers on the grid.

There hasn't been any "new" teams added to the squad in a long time, so adding Russel for that team would be a great addition. As far as I know, Sainz was in talks with them, no idea what happens now that he is in Williams, but if he can keep the deal then he may go there, so a George plus Sainz duo could be all a new team could hope for, and I bet that they won't be that great on their first year, who could be, it's a tough thing to build a great car right away.

However, if they have George and Sainz, those are racers that can tell them what is wrong and because of that I am sure that we are going to end up seeing them get their car better with time, it shouldn't really be a problem at all, they should be getting better results and get the car better with ease, thanks to that experience.

Sainz is already under contract with Williams for their long-term development. So there is no need to discuss him getting into Cadillac. As for Russell himself, we still cannot be sure whether he stays with Mercedes or not, because the rumours of Max entering Mercedes are still so hot, but I see that Russell will stay with Mercedes, so the chances of him entering Cadillac are still small.

The most plausible names for Cadillac are Mick Schumacher, Bottas, or Perez. These three drivers are rumoured to be being monitored by Cadillac to become their drivers for the 2026 season. Although it is still uncertain, these three drivers entering Cadillac makes more sense than Russell (or any other name).

As one time said here I don't follow motoGP at all but I really follow Formula1. The problem I see is I hate when this kind of thing happens, when only one guy or one team is super dominating makes all the season boring to watch, in Formula1 for example the Mercedes dominance was boring, the Max dominance the same and now the Mc Claren is making it boring.

So is in motoGP in someway the same?

This season has been similar, with Ducati's Marquez dominating the wins. This wasn't the case last season, even though Ducati riders often dominated the front row. However, last season saw several different riders competing for victory, making it less boring to watch from start to finish. This season, however, can sometimes make viewers sleepy because there's less of a front row battle, with only one rider dominating. Hopefully, next season will see more diversity in dominance, both in F1, MotoGP, and WSBK.

Mercedes domination?  Not Ferrari?    Remember, Horner is available now and there's no other team that could hire his services except maybe Aston Martin if Lawrence Stroll gives way and lets a proper team principal run the team.  Maybe he could even tell his son to drop out too and they try to get Verstappen... 

So the whole gang, Horner - Newey - Verstappen, will be back together but just in a different team.  Now that would be boring imho.  I'd rather see Verstappen under Toto Wolff and Hamilton under Horner at Ferrari.

Of course, maybe it will be a Ferrari domination who knows.    It was just an assumption. Besides we know how accurate Hamilton has been with switching teams throughout his career...

Rumors are circulating that after his departure from Red Bull, Christian Horner will land at Alpine as team principal. Alpine is considered a potential team for Horner to join because they currently do not have an official team principal and the closeness between Briatore and Horner is like that of old friends. On his Instagram, Briatore also specifically congratulated Horner on what he has achieved with Red Bull. And with this, many fans speculate that Briatore is lobbying Horner to become Alpine's team principal.

But as a fan of F1 overall, yeah...  Would be nice to have at least two competitive teams going after each other.  Ideal scenario is the first one with Horner to Ferrari and Verstappen to Mercedes.  Racing gods please make it happen.

What are you expecting them to do, go get Max and Piastri? Of course they are building a bad team right now, because they do not have the reputation to get the best drivers in the world. Plus, this is going to be their first year, and while they are willing to spend a ton of money on this, they need to make sure they spend carefully, they can't just go get 2 drivers with 40 million salary or something, they just need to keep it low.

And they will have 3 drivers too, 2 that is driving for them, and 1 that would be reserve driver, which isn't free, that should be at least a million dollars. Being a reserve driver is still better pay than any of us ever will see. So yeah, they will get Perez and someone like him, out of the league, because that would be cheap option and still give them great experience. Bottas and Perez for example, is the greatest veteran experience they can buy for cheap.

Perez and Bottas could be the best situation for them but with short contracts!
2 experienced drives for 2 years both to build knowledge for the team is a good solution.

Actually, it's not all that bad, because Bottas, Perez, and Mick aren't new to F1. All three drivers have been in F1 before. Even if they haven't shown flashy performances, Perez and Bottas have years of experience in F1, and that would be the best input for Cadillac in building their team. As for Mick, he's Michael Schumacher's son, and Cadillac considers the economic value he brings to the team. Mick has also demonstrated his seriousness in improving if given the opportunity to drive for Cadillac.

The most sensible driver lineup, in my opinion, is Perez and Mick, with Bottas serving as their reserve driver.

This is what media are reporting right now.

This is not mean that Max will come 100% to mercedes but that the big boys of Mercedes will pay without hesitation if they manage to get Max in the team.

We also need to know how works the perefomance clause on Max' Verstappen cause I'm pretty sure that redbull will be strong opposing this exit clause with a lot of layers.

Over 100m € per year, with sponsorship.

For sure Max will move big sponsors with him so going over 100m it will probable considering also the big boost in marketing that Mercedes will have, if it will ends with the German's team.

Bringing in Vettel? Honestly I don't expect him to return to Formula 1 as a driver anymore.    I believe his retirement is for good. It has been nearly 3 years since he retired.

However they say he could still return to this world. But with a different role... He has been rumoured with Red Bull recently. When Horner left I got curious whether Vettel was going to be their new boss.
