With all this mess i don't understand why people don't use the trust system. I see that steamboat actually has green positive trust. Way to go! Trust: 1: -0 / +2(2)

Can all of us still waiting form an organized group to continually pursue our hosted miners / refunds and try to contact steamboat?

It only uses certain members to calculate the results of those visible numbers. Although nobody seems to even be attempting to utilize it to post negative feedback. I received my refund (did not purchase hosting) so I have a hard time leaving negative feedback, even though it took forever and it appears like SB may be playing games with people's money, but I do hope you all get your coins back

I'm guessing that people don't want to leave negative feedback in case it jeopardizes their chance of getting a refund or payout from hosted miners.
I was offered a refund even though I had mine hosted. I haven't accepted the refund purely on principle. But there is no doubt here that he has scammed a significant amount of people and is still mining with other people's chips. In all honesty I have no idea why he offered refunds to some people but has refused to acknowledge those with hosted miners - giving refunds to some but not others has not improved his reputation any.
My personal view is that SB started out with an honest approach and had every intention of delivering. But when things went sour, he realised that he could get away with a significant amount of money and hardware with no recourse. The "good person" inside of him is wrestling with guilt, which is why he has given some refunds, but ultimately greed has won him over.

For sure. Maybe he didn't start with this goal, but unfortunately things did not pan out well.

For sure. Maybe he didn't start with this goal, but unfortunately things did not pan out well. Can't believe this. Why would he refund orders for miners that were to be shipped, but not payout coins or refund the hosted miners? Still nobody with hosted miners has gotten payouts or refunds? If the theory was "he was mining to pay you back", wouldn't he at least have some BTC to start paying back?

Thread is still alive. Unfortunately.
When are we going to hear from this man about the losses?

Nice! at least I still have a classmate here. Steamboat, since you are running our paper weight hashing machines, maybe we can workout a compromised deal. let us say; refund us our chips, our assembly fees, hosting fees, our mined btc since last year, and in return, we give you our opportunity loss that you gained (i.e. what you gained over the period of X no. of difficulty jumps). nice deal eh?

I had ordered hosted miners and got my refund months ago (you can look back in this thread to find the exact date if you want...I posted when I received it).

Not for everything...the parts I think weren't included. I forget exactly how the breakdown worked. But I defiinitely got a decent chunk back and considered the experience over. You got nothing at all?

You got nothing at all? When refunds were offered, somehow my email didn't get through, and I missed the deadline. Thus no refund. This means that my units got assembled, and put in the data centre to hash. Steamboat has since ceased contact, and no info on what is happening. No payouts. Its a shame, coz I'm a reasonable man. I just want to know whats happened.
