Rev 2 chips are being auctioned.  I suspect SB might have been waiting for these announcements before offering refund options on assembly.  We might hear something now that the options are clearer.

Quote
We are pleased to announce the launch of our next auction. BitSyncom is auctioning their Avalon ASIC A3255-Q48 chips: the second generation SHA256 Processor. BitSyncom will be auctioning off 20 reels of 500 chips per reel. Each chip outputs 1.5-1.6 GH/s at a standard 0.9V, with 2.05W consumption. The minimum bid for a single reel will be 24 BTC.

Fuck Avalon. I'll lose every penny I've got in assembly before I'll buy a single Gen2 Avalon chip.

Bitfury gen 1 chips offer better specs. Both $/Gh and Gh/W. I would be much more interested in using my assembly parts towards one of those. There are also working bitfury designs...

The only reply I got was a tracking number, which arrived within about 48 hours of sending the "ship it now" request.

I got my reply with tracking info within 24 hours.  The email did not come from steamboat, and to be honest looked really spamy. but the title said "... has sent you a package."

maybe check your spam folders.

I think snare rolls should be used as a currency.

Nah, nothing. I'll resend, I'm just confused as others seem to have been serviced so fast.

If any one wants to auction their miners for either Bitcoin or Litecoin, check cryptothrift.com
Listing is free and you only pay TX fees on sold items

Good luck guys... I'm still waiting for my miners, will be auctioning them for whatever I get as soon as they arrive.
