Every time that you receive some money you should put some on the side. Never buy something just because you think you have the money for it that is never a good thing to do.

My goal is to go further and live off the returns that the savings are producing which needs an enormous amount of savings but will be awesome when I get there. We are not spending so much right now and hopefully eventually the saving income will exceed my salary - I'm only around 6% of the way there but 12% of the way of covering for expenses.

Yeah putting money in bitcoins is an investment but it can really work for you in future if price goes higher, so its always better to put money in bitcoins instead of keeping in banks.

This is the wisest things to do which is partitioning your money  to invest some of it and  surely would give you profits  in the future. I would be honest, actually I am not good in managing my money because I can easily be tempted to buy things especially when I badly want it without considering that I have to save, I am just lucky to have a wife that helps me to manage my money and since I am the one earning in the family, I trust my wife to do the managing.

I would be honest, actually I am not good in managing my money because I can easily be tempted to buy things especially when I badly want it without considering that I have to save, I am just lucky to have a wife that helps me to manage my money and since I am the one earning in the family, I trust my wife to do the managing.

We find that when I combine my finances with my wifes we are both much less reluctant to splurge on unnecessary expenses - since its both of our money we are spending rather than just one of our spending pots. I find that really helps - but it depends upon what kind of wife you have. If I tried that approach with a previous partner I be in seriously heavy debt by now LOL =)

I was always taught to check what i need per month to spend on essentials i always make excel sheet where i put my needs and my salary and i substract them showing me how much i have left.

From what i have left i put 50 in saving and 50 i use on myself and hobbies, like this its comfortable living but ofcourse not everyone earns enough to do this.

i agree, if you need money get your ass to work for it.  Even if you have already some work in your shoes, if your income is not enough, try to find some profit generating stuff so you can earn more money and can supplement your daily job.  Making your financial problem be solved.

Well, you will be safe with that practice as you will not lose in gambling but I do not think you can grow your bitcoin easily. You also have to involve in short term investment like investing in a gambling sites but not gambling at all as a player.
