the peercoin team has no sense of urgency about anything and they just don’t get it

First of all, you have no idea what is going on behind the scenes, so you are speaking about things you don’t fully understand. Outward appearances do not indicate the current level of activity in the team.

Second, d5000 is correct. Peercoin had little development for several years. Some of you are completely underestimating the amount of time it takes to update Peercoin to where it needs to be. We are currently making great progress and the recent foundation has helped speed certain things up. We are currently in a bear market, so this is the perfect time to get important work done to be ready for when market sentiment changes again.

If one of the devs is here: Is there any possibility to add TaPoS to Peercoin? It could improve "fork resolution" greatly. (I'll propose that in the Peercoin forum if there is no reaction here.)

I don’t know if you will get an answer, but it would probably be best to ask on the forum.

and isn't following the "Not-Invented-Here syndrome".

I don’t think you have to worry about this.

Hear hear.

D5000 I respect what you say and agree with most of the comments you make but peercoin needs a war chest and should implement a 5 pct miner tax that would assure being able too hire top devolpers and marketing and as I've stated many times the website does nothing for people who are new too peercoin

Glad to hear from u man. Peercoin aint a coin anymore. Its a violent unsaddled horse u will never ride. Only big papas with cash in their pockets could draw profits out of alts, and all the other sheep only can chatter and envy successful peeps that create liquidity for them. Its alright that taxes are high urging people to join crypto where they become easy pray for me.

PPCoin project technical strength is good, the team should strengthen the market publicity, so that more investors can consider allocating a certain position.

Right now, it is looking like at the time of our snapshot date, Peercoin will have around 25,461,003 PPC in circulation, and Bitcoin will be closer to 17,400,000. This being said, the ratio is around 1.90 BTC to 1 XAP and 2.78 PPC to one XAP.  Great for peercoin holders too be airdropped one xap bitcoin air for every peercoin they hold if xap has a value of 27.80 that’s 10 dollar value for every peercoin you own even if xap is only worth 5.56 that’s 2 dollar value for every peercoin you own the xap bitcoin airdrop might just be a huge windfall for peercoin holders

I for myself enjoy the updates here, as I open this forum much more often than Peercoin's own forum. So @Sentinelrv, I hope you do not really have plans to cease posting updates at Bitcointalk.

And to @Verdell & @Paul33:

I really fail to see why you're still posting here. Why don't you just sell your PPC and buy some hypecoin? The only reason I can find is that you're both speculating on lower prices. I don't know if there's a way to short Peercoins (at least I don't know a lending service), but achieving a nice entry price to buy up PPC can also be a reason for downward price manipulation.

I would always guarantee that Peercoin's price in a year will be much higher than now if:
- v0.7, cold minting & peer assets are released for mainchain
- the transition to modern code has at least begun

The website and Binance are secondary things. Even if all you want is a pump, you need at least a reason for a pump, and a website refresh already isn't enough. You need something "real" to market. For example, EOS is successful with it's promise of "0.5 seconds blocks" (even if this can only achieved with a pretty centralized design).

I agree with your opinion. Sometimes it seems that on some branches on the forum people gathered who simply need to earn and sell sooner. If this were the case, then bitcoin and etherium would not have become such as it is now. Long-term planning with the development of the product should be in the form of exchanges and other things that give a quick but short-term price increase.
The task is not to earn more quickly, but to make the project work better after a long time.

Coinbase’s New Asset Listing Process
Our goal is to rapidly list all assets that meet our standards and are compliant with local law, while providing our customers with the tools to discover, evaluate, trade, and use digital assets.   Peercoin should try too get listed on coinbase there is no reason I can see why this isn’t a possibility and the peercoin team should do everything it can too try and make this happen
