Why ltc is down while ppc is up, any new news?

As Bitcoin goes higher and well past $200 all scrypts will continue to collapse and eventually die.  The sha coins have many advantages, especially since they can be merge mined and are more secure.

scrypt is going no where bud. LTC is down cause Atlantis shut down. All the vendors mass dumping and switching to BTC or USD

Give it 30days all be back to normal

What does "long term energy efficient mean"? Does it mean that we don't need to actively mine some of the coins?

It means you get coins by owning coins, so the lucky people that got in when over 2 million coins were given out in the first week will get the biggest profits

Well, the "big profits" is about 1% per year. It's more fun to speculate.

(16:53:34) anon: My theory is that when 1st gen ASIC becomes unprofitable for BTC mining, PPC will be traded up past BTC to a level where hash rate drops for BTC and increases for PPC making 1st gen profitable far longer than calculated by most.

nice shot  Cool

Everyone gets 1%, regardless of 'amount' of coins you own. There is no unfair advantage.

Except those PPCs that are set aside for spending -- they don't generate POS.

Good news since Coinotron was acting weird on my server and I wanted a backup to the D7 PPC pool.

You better go to ppc.fixx.ru, centralization of the network to the good will not.

Why ltc is down while ppc is up, any new news?

LTC $50million cap
PPC $5million cap

LTC cannot maintain a 10x ratio vs a coin as innovative as PPC->

Hi,

I have a question about the interest calc ... is it based on the total days in the wallet - i.e. are coin days accounted for globally, or alternatively are coin days counted per transaction and are not summed up?

i.e. 1 x 300 PPC transaction will start showing interest earlier than 300 x 1 PPC transactions due to the cumulative days being taken into account?

Any insights would be great as I've currently got a lot of 1PPC transactions, waited 30 days and still no interest showing, even though when I do the math I think theres more than 365 coin days in the wallet based on:

transaction amount * (days held in wallet - 30 days) = individual transaction coin days

sum(individual transaction coin days) is greater than 365

Thanks!

Hi guys, I'd like to see if we can get PPC on btc-e added into the awesome chart tool over at http://bitcoinwisdom.com/ .... if you agree, please leave a message over on their feedback thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=190722.new#new) stating your support for this. Thanks!
