First of all, in my opinion it is perfectly fine that you sell more and more of your shares. There is no dilution. Dividends are not affected by the inrease in supply. I believe most people unfortunatly got used to those mining bond schemes where dividends are coupled to an always increasing mining difficulty. That is, if the issuer doesnt invest in new mining equipment, dividends are bound to go down and so does bond value, because all an investor does expect from those bonds is what? Dividends! There is a big difference with Satoshi Dice. Unlike mining profits, Satoshi Dividends are not bound to go down - even if there wouldn't be future investments into growth of the company. In fact, dividends are more likely to go up, beacause SatoshiDice has a very unique position in bitcoin gambling industry.
Anyway, I still have a question for you: what are your plans for all the IPO money? After all, you do an IPO to grow your company. How do you want to grow? I read that you want to spend 10% on an add campaign in european gambling magazines. That's awesome. Good for satoshidice and for bitcoin. What about the other 90%?

IPO funds were mostly used to avoid bankrupt if a month or two months are really unlucky for the house. Happily since the IPO, SD runs pretty well and pretends to massive earnings. SD is almost sure to never meet a bankrupt. But back in time of the release of the IPO (in august) this bright present was not known.
This is smart as most of the clones are in highly risks of bankrupt without fresh cash or they have to stick with ridiculous small bet limits.

makes perfect sense... What about developing some other games like Satoshi Poker or Satoshi Betting? E.g. roulette would just be some kind of a visual representation of what the satoshidice game is right now. others are catching up on using bitcoin for gambling sites pretty quickly now. The marktet for that is huge. IPO certainly allows for bigger thinking. I would like to see this thing evolve and stay on top of bitcoin gambling. Any plans in the drawer?

Yes indeed, any new features or game could be directly a great game changer in the market imo.

No need for new features or games. S.DICE works wonderfully well and has everything required to satisfy the market it wants to capture. Stick to core competencies.
I would like to see the bet limit raised and advertising for S.DICE absolutely everywhere tho. Using the funds to strengthen the bankroll (to increase bet size while reducing the houses risk of ruin) and cover every page on the internet with the word "bitcoin" on it in a S.DICE advertisement (bring in all the new people discovering bitcoin.) ... I also think they should seek out more partners they can integrate into like they have with the wallet at blockchain.info
I think all three would be good. I'd thought of the roulette one as an app that has (or a web page with a poppup window of) a spinning wheel from the moment the bet is placed that just keeps on spinning till the result is known and lands accordingly. It would be interesting to find out if reducing the dividend to strengthen the bankroll to increase the limits would pay for itself or not because even a small increase on the higher payout bets would require a much bigger bankroll.

Tranche announcement - I'm going to keep the 3rd tranche available for another 24 hrs (until 5pm EST Saturday). After that, I'll remove it and will not be adding any other shares to the market. I'll hold on to the 4th and 5th tranches as it seems the market is satiated with the current supply.

Sounds good. Is it safe to assume that future stock releases are a possibility over time?

Is it safe to assume that future stock releases are a possibility over time? (c)The representatives of SatoshiDice warrant that no further shares will be offered by them for a period of 30 days from the date these offered shares are sold. The representatives of SatoshiDice further warrant that they will never sell more than half the total shares. 2.2.c : http://mpex.co/?mpsic=S.DICE38% can come any time on market

Any serious interest to buy is at 0.00444440 and if this is held there by a trading bot, you know what happens at first sign of selling. Evoorhees, here are some ideas how to do secondary issues: 1) Find larger buyers off the exchange and set some limits to how fast they can dump this stuff on the exchange (or you will get fucked buy them, when you plan third placement etc) 2) set a schedule and announce the sale before you do it. and so on... here is a preliminary draft https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=130947.msg1483884#msg1483884 . Yes, it need some more work. You are welcome to use it and make it better Deprived made some good comments (and some too emotional) but you get the idea. PS! sdice needs a better home than this hut of shit, it has now.

and for fcuk sake, stop using the word "Tranche" in this context. Definition of 'Tranches' A piece, portion or slice of a deal or structured financing. This portion is one of several related securities that are offered at the same time but have different risks, rewards and/or maturities. "Tranche" is the French word for "slice".
Got it?

Aaaand its gone. Someone bought all of it! It will be interesting to see whether this buyer bought for the dividends or for trading. If the latter any 'recovery' towards previous highs would I guess be slow with this (and other traders who bought 'low' this week) selling them off if, as and when the price rises again.

Yeah, these are certainly not "tranches"...these are simply shares being dumped by the larger investors. But the term "tranche" makes the process sound a bit more positive.

Obviously this buyer bought for a quick buck on trading. The bought just after Evoorhees anounced that he would remove the offer and not put another one, so essentially he is removing his boot from the throat of the market which was keeping the price form going up. This buyer saw a great opportunity, I bet they will make a bunch of coin off selling these shares higher than eevoorhees was listing them.

1) No more shares will be listed by me for the foreseeable future.
2) Can we please stop using the term "dumping shares?" I think it's a bit hyperbolic, no? A "dump" would be dropping tons of shares at market price. This was only a tiny percent of my holdings, and only the first "tranche" (okay if it has quotes around it? =) was listed far below market.

A tiny percent of your holdings but a much much bigger percentage of the free-float and percentage wise a pretty steep discount to the last traded price for the first 2 1 mln share 'batches'....
