so we go by average? or pick a winner? because picking a winner seems little bit silly in this poll

Average (weighted average) results for stats fans:
Code:
884 / 1.02 / 0.69

option D (1 st place):
Code:
1024 / 1.00 / 0.80

option A (zero votes)
Code:
888 / 1.00 / 0.80
are pretty close. What's interesting average result is almost the same as option A which got MOST OF proposals and ZERO votes. Huh, that's how statistics work and that's why they say lies, damned lies, and statistics.

Seems like you have not not posted your vote in thread. It was required step, everything is described on last pages.

Hmmm. I see.

I won't fuss much, but I did propose (H) as a voting option...along with post in the other thread, but you deleted it.

Well, maybe something is wrong with my glasses either my english is even worse than worst, but your comment was telling that people like your proposal, not that "H" was your vote. I am not gonna imply anything, especially since I voted for different option than my proposal (my vote was first so don't say I did it by analyzing situation), and noone voted for most common proposal. We are mature (I hope) people, we know what and why we do. Comment was removed because it was an opinion, not a vote. And actually it was posted BEFORE rapid votes growth that lead me to require vote posting. Andy actually it was posted BEFORE I required posting of your votes. One day before.

Also just after removing your comment I have sent you a PM why I did so it was not a hidden action.

Vote posting requirement was announced on 2015-07-08, 08:21:11 UTC  and your comment was removed a day before, on 2015-07-07  19:21:52.
Page 148. Easy to spot that after that announcement on same page there's your post, so you were aware of it. If you had something against it there was 4 (FOUR) days to notice. And you had 4 (FOUR) days to post your vote (if there was any - I don't know).

As you can see I have nothing to hide, rules are the same for everyone. Also, there are 24 hours to make voting a bit longer - see my one of my previous posts.

OK, I just felt you accuse me that I have manipulated voting. If not - I am fine and relaxed.

My goals are:
1) Make masternodes network realiable - with cheap masternodes we see huge spikes what can be observed on charts. To fix it masternodes have to be much more expensive, so masternode operator will take care about masternode being online all the time and since it costs much, cashing it out will be not that easy decision (since rebuy can be much more expensive), that's why I don't like option E
2) Reduce inflation a bit - only because community wants it, personally I agree with Orestes theory, but community is more important to get an agreement, that's why its my point - so I dont vote for options B, E, F
3) Keep masternodes profitable (more or less), that's why I don't like option G

TL;DR I don't care if wins A, C, D, H. They are more or less similiar. Average community vote is A, but noone voted it. I can't help with it, all I can do is enforce rules.

Yeah I found that they were made in last hour of voting. But I really don't know how to explain removal. They did not get extra time. I am happy with 2nd place winning, but it has less votes. I assume there are different groups of interest here, but as long as they don't abuse anything (dozens of bought votes or dozens of newbie accounts) here nor vote something I really can't accept (options E, G) I have neither personal nor community interest with fighting them. Just because someone voted late (late, not too late) does not mean I should ignore her/his voice. I am trying to build something reliable here, so such important decisions cannot be changed just because your or me thinks they should be.

D and H got practically the same amount of votes... Depending on how to count votes, both D and H can be declared winners.

But actually they are not the same - there is a big difference between them: that is the ratio of masternode and staker's payout (about 80/20 in one case, about 55/45 in other).

Maybe re-vote using only those two options.. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Two-round_system Smiley)?

Voting is not a simple thing btw Smiley It could be very tricky, and its that tricky'ness that helps government manipulate it Smiley
That's why I told the proposed voting system may not really work (even when voted in packs). Ideally there should be few (2-4) options, each of which should differ from the other to the same extend, so similar options do not steal votes from each other.

I am fine with it.
10 posts from people (one person, one vote) who ever posted in this thread telling we need second round.
10 people, not 100 people

Well, I am a bit angry of guys who do nothing and accuse me of doing something wrong. I am telling I see, I  read that i claim I don't see. I am asking why I should change rules after voting I read lolololol and popcorn. Altough it's not something that will stop me but I reserve a right to claim that my train is not their train. Their choice. We have not started takeover yet and we have FUD. Brilliant.

So we have a shady outcome on option D.
In politics who cares the game is rigged? I remember an Al Gore/W recount... no i didnt.

anyways let's examine option D.

It has a higher masternode price, which is what we wanted...
It has a reduction on inflation which is what we wanted...
It has a very high percentual pay-out on masternodes which is what some of us want...

so there is the rub i think. is this masternode pay-out too high?

actually i think not.

masternodes will be less and less profitable over time.
sure early investors are able to have a firm grip over the coin supply for the next period. but eventually they will sell and cash out, this will distribute the coin. Risk/Reward incentive is there, who is willing to hold long term?

Staking might be discouraged, but once masternodes become less and less attractive staking is the always present alternative when the hassle is just not worth it. As long as the multitudes go for nodes, staking might not be that bad...

so all in all my advice would be to just proceed and have your nodes ready!
