If you have registered a nick in irc.freenode.net, and have forgotten your password, you must join #freenode and ask an operator to send you a reset password email. There you go mate  |

we have a freenode staff member in our room, send a msg to +e on our user list. he works at freenode and can help you, or you can message me and i will contact someone else from staff if he isnt around, i changed my name to @vergeDEV (from @dogedDEV/@sunerok, although i still own those names and will use them from time to time as well) |

Is the symbol going to be XVG?
I'm writing a simple program that will send me a text message as soon as it's listed on Polo.
Since I don't know when it will happen I want to scan for both DOGED and Verge but I need to be sure of the symbol.

Price speculation isn't what Verge needs the coin is solid as a rock has almost perfect distribution isn't centralized keeping miners busy. Remember people sold Bitcoins for like 1 dollar and thought it was a steal now we have crytpocurrencies for the next economic collapse.

I always wonder how much the features of a coin actually count and how much is just good marketing. To be honest, i am not very tech savvy and therefore can´t determine whether this coin is the best/most private/most anonymous coin out there. And looking at a lot of other ANNs, privacy seems to be the hot stuff your new currency needs to have and this makes me wonder whether or not there may be other coins out there which are just as good or even better than DogeD.
I think that publicity plays a bigger role than we would like to admit. You could have the best idea in the world, it would be worthless when nobody hears it.
The renaming is a great thing regarding this. It is a good idea to gain momentum.
