Yep. Now days 20k usd volume isn't nothing close to what is needed to actually pump a coin. What we see is buying and more buying. Once we start seeing $ 100k plus volume than the coin is actually starting to take off.

Compared to where Verge should be 7-12 satoshis is close to free coins.

I wouldn't be scared of price fluctuations at this moment. Instead everyone should just withdraw from the exchange and keep the coins in their own wallets. This is the best and safest thing to do.

I always wonder how much the features of a coin actually count and how much is just good marketing. To be honest, i am not very tech savvy and therefore can´t determine whether this coin is the best/most private/most anonymous coin out there. And looking at a lot of other ANNs, privacy seems to be the hot stuff your new currency needs to have and this makes me wonder whether or not there may be other coins out there which are just as good or even better than DogeD.

I think that publicity plays a bigger role than we would like to admit. You could have the best idea in the world, it would be worthless when nobody hears it.

The renaming is a great thing regarding this. It is a good idea to gain momentum.

What´s more, the holy grail of crypto is day-to-day usability by "normal"(read: non-crypto) people. You don´t even need to provide it to go up, hinting at it is enough. This is a really weird dance to watch, especially since the real-life-implementations of crypto currencies are scarce and very specialized yet. When a coin actually manages to break this wall, its value will explode. And I don´t think this wall is a technological barrier at all, it is all about image.

One could argue that one of the things holding crypto currencies back as a general means of payment is their (perceived) volatility. I get that. I don´t really want to buy a bread with 1,5 Dollars/Euros/Pound the one day, and the next day for 3. I mean, lets say there actually was a real life implementation, which lets you buy groceries at the next supermarket with DogeD. Which one of us would have actually used it in the past few weeks?
