looks like someone(s) is testing our network.. lots of transactions coming through the past few hours ive noticed..

even with high difficulty, it's holding solid.

hopefully whoever it is comes back with a full report for us lol  

edit: i just realized we are getting more tx's per block than any other coin right now, other than bitcoin. we're making litecoin look stagnant.

Hi DOGED Members,  i had a few questions about specs.

1.  Confirm received?
2.  Confirm rewards?
3.  Minimum coin age till mature?
4.  Average reward?

well i'll answer those to the best of my ability

1. In the core wallet, 6 confirmations are needed before coins are spendable. In the android wallet, coins are spendable immediately. On exchanges, the confirmation is whatever the admins have deemed a good number. (i believe bittrex is 4 or 6, etc.)

2. 120 confirms are needed before coins that are newly generated (mined) are spendable

3. whatever 120 confirms takes (usually half a day to a day)

4. right now, the block rewards are 12,500 DOGED per block. this will halve eventually.

source code update was a success, all the pools have updated to the newest commits =]

i added some checkpoints, and removed the 10 day checkpoint warning, and patched us for the tx exploit recently found in ppc
