you should dig the first thread and this one for more explanation (even using i2p or tor most are completely vulnerable as the implementation process is faulty). What Verge does no other 'anonymous' coin does as your wallet is completely untraceable. You don't need to be a geek to want to use Verge it's primary benefit is safety and untraceability as no other coin offers you that.

I see what you mean, but unluckily I feel like doged/verge at the moment is between a rock and a hard place...as I said there are enormous buy walls, and there are two options: either they get removed or it is going to be very hard to climb, just on trex 200 btc to get to 100 sats. And anyway I would not be able to tell which case would be the worst, if they get removed there are going to be too many coins dumped later with even more catastrophic results, if they don't, well, it is just going to be incredibly incredibly hard for the price to rise.

it is a shame that a coin such as doged, if it actually has the tech the dev says it has, was launched like this...riding the doge-wave was in my opinion a quick money grab but a long term marketing disaster (hence rebranding), and the same for the total number of coins...doged should have been verge since the beginning, should have had no more than 100mil coins and should have had a different marketing approach. These are the reasons why I see it hard for it to climb in price even if it is not a scamcoin, provided that it doesn't get hyper-manipulated of course

I have the feeling that at least some of the Walls are moving targets. When I bought at 4/5 sat on bittrex, the biggest wall was around 9BTC at 9 sat. The price climbed up and so did the wall: When the price hit 8/9 sat for the first time, the wall moved to 15 sat. The question is, when are those people willing to cash out?

But I agree, getting in 100 sat+ ranges sounds a little unrealistic to me as well

you had for many days like 50 btc buy walls for 7-8 satoshis some group was willing to buy all at those prices the walls were sitting there for quite a few days and incredibly you didn't have sellers only miners. I've been following Verge for quite sometime and it's growth is organic that's for sure. The coin has evolved hugely and keeps growing. Also you have to keep in mind Verge took all those sell others at Bittrex from people wanting to get out of Cryptsy it was only one of the few coins working. Startcoin now is trading for 6k (it was selling at 14k at cryptsy and doged was for for 5-6). This is a resilliant coin and here to stay with great objetives you have to consider all that when looking at it.

Here is something else that got me thinking: With DogeDs/XVGs sat value sitting mostly in the single digits, changes are greater by design. I mean, a 8 to 9 sat change is quite a big increase, actually. Other currencies with a greater value per coin can move in smaller increments.

Do you guys_gals think, that this changes the dynamics at all? and how?
