Hope everyone had a great week, wanted to bother you guys again. My wallet has been saying "expected time to earn reward 1 hour" (sometimes 40 min) for the past like 6-8 days, is this normal? or do i have to do something for the wallet to earn rewards again?

Thanks!

It sounds normal to me. Is your wallet always running? Staking is based on weight but there is variance involved. The XBC blockchain has been running more slowly than usual the past few days and the estimates are based on 1 minute blocktimes, so between that and variance I would say it sounds normal. While your coins' weight will increase if the wallet is closed, you're only in the game for finding stakes based on your relative weight while the wallet is open.

Ignore the "expected" time. What it "expects" doesn't match reality.Factors are variable due to network weight distribution and mature coins in old wallets staking 24/7.Just go by the indicated 20% rate per annum. You don't need to keep your wallet open and only need to ensure those coins remain off the spendable balance in order to earn rewards.

I don't have an ETA but will update here once there are further developments. This is the original breakdown of what was required to get us as far as 0.13 in order to signal for segwit but there will be less work involved thanks to the results from the poll above. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1YdLdcUgrruwSl9X5Oqp0rG6TJVJi1SxLhizsLxOYipg/edit

I think it would be healthy for this coin to be on at least one other Real exchange such as Bittrex
Cryptopia being the  "potpourri" of the crypto sphere IMO.

I'v always heard listing a coin on Poloniex is harder than doing so on Bittrex, I think the listing fee is 1 BTC there.

any thought on this ?  Roll Eyes

Cryptopia and coinexchange are fine. Many users are having major issues with Bittrex and they also want an upfront $10K fee to cover whatever they imagine are checks without any guarantee of a listing.Thats a non starter.HiBTC are having issues and livecoin want around $24k for a listing with bitcoin at these prices.Poloniex are our primary exchange and we never had any issues for many years now.It speaks for itself. We do continuously update exchanges with our developments but its up to them if they want to list us.Next big thing will be decentralized exchanges so thats the way we want to go.Decentralized exchanges have many advantages unlike some centralized exchanges who can freeze steal peoples coins without warning or go bust overnight

OK fair enough, Obviously DEX are going to be a big thing, as of right now, 99% of the volume is still on centralised exchanges. Are you thinking of a particular DEX for XBC ?

@BitcoinBus
you did not mention Binance - probably the best centralized exchange today.
BitcoinBus - i don't think its fair to say "If the exchange wants to list this coin, its up to them".
Binance has a requirement to fill out their form. I compiled the list of questions they ask to make it easier for the DEV team to complete this request. You guys simply ignored me. I hope you can re-think your approach on betting on decentralized exchanges - you have no idea when that's coming.

You are betting on another DEV team to be successful in creating a decentralized exchange - i think you are not evaluating this risk appropriately here.

Here is the list of questions Binance is asking to fill out of their online form again.
They want the DEV team submit the request and provide contact info, etc.

Heck, we can answer these questions for you if you give us your word you will submit the damn form.

1.What is the core value of your token/coin?
2.Why would the value increase over time?
3.Why would the value increase faster than BTC or ETH?
4.Is your token/coin a security?
Yes, It is a security - Binance will not be able to list your token/coin.
No, It is not a security - Binance requires proof of legal advice/opinion about your token/coin not being a security.
5.How many users (registered & active) do you currently have?
6.How many people are there in your community? Please provide a headcount and link for each of the following: Telegram, Reddit, Slack, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Line, Viber, KakaoTalk, Imo, Zalo, BBM, ChatOn, others. Please be as detailed as possible.
7.Where can we see your product? How do we use it?
8.Is your project open-source?
9. Please provide a link to your GitHub repo.
10. Who is on your team? What are their background and history? What notable projects have they done in the past? Please provide the link of Linkedln.
11. Are any of your team members not full-time?
12. Are any of your team members involved in other projects, coins, or work? If yes, please list all other projects they are currently working on.
13. Who are your advisors?
14. Please provide the link to coinmarketcap.com for your coin.
15. What is the current market capitalization of your coin?
16. Total coin/token supply:
17. Total coin/token circulation supply:
18. Current Coin/Token Price
19. Which exchange(s) is your coin currently trading on?
20. Did your coin go through an ICO?
21. How much was raised during the ICO? What percentage of ICO Hard Cap reached?
22. How many people participated in your ICO?
23. ICO launch date and duration (number of days)
24. ICO price
25. Did you accept BNB during your ICO? How much did you accept? Are you still holding them?
26. Is your coin ERC 20? *
27. If no, please provide a link to your blockchain explorer.
28. Please provide instructions on how to integrate your wallet?
29. What listing fee do you propose to pay? (What value you think listing on Binance is worth to you?) Please provide an exact number in BNB. *
30. Do you have the BNB to pay for listing fees immediately?
31. Do you plan to offer coin giveaways, and/or other marketing initiative? If so, please provide details, ideally down to specific numbers.

Why should we be afraid of those conditions? Every exchange has conditions.

We could at least try. And propose some fee. Look at it this way... Binance isn't telling you to pay $10000.

I think the only way to have a free listing is to list it on a distributed exchange where our DEV team would be spending the time getting it listed. In this case, the Binance team has to spend their resources. May we have a community vote on the "listing fee" amount?
The listing fee is like a transaction fee; it's necessary to prevent spam.
Like escapecoin said, they are not saying 10K and that's it.
I think the answers to the other questions are equally important to Binance and for listing purposes.

1.What is the core value of your token/coin?
Answer: Proof of Stake coin with low initial distribution of 9% of total supply and 20% annual supply inflation to 1,000,000 coins. The coin has native Tor client increasing censorship resistance and privacy. The Proof of stake is a unilaterally fair reward system, distributing proof of stake reward equally without requiring a minimum amount for staking.
