@BitcoinBus you did not mention Binance - probably the best centralized exchange today. BitcoinBus - i don't think its fair to say "If the exchange wants to list this coin, its up to them". Binance has a requirement to fill out their form. I compiled the list of questions they ask to make it easier for the DEV team to complete this request. You guys simply ignored me. I hope you can re-think your approach on betting on decentralized exchanges - you have no idea when that's coming.
You are betting on another DEV team to be successful in creating a decentralized exchange - i think you are not evaluating this risk appropriately here.
Here is the list of questions Binance is asking to fill out of their online form again. They want the DEV team submit the request and provide contact info, etc.
Heck, we can answer these questions for you if you give us your word you will submit the damn form.
29. What listing fee do you propose to pay? (What value you think listing on Binance is worth to you?) Please provide an exact number in BNB. * 30. Do you have the BNB to pay for listing fees immediately? 31. Do you plan to offer coin giveaways, and/or other marketing initiative? If so, please provide details, ideally down to specific numbers. 32. You agree that Binance can publish any of the information you provided here publicly. * 33. You accept that, even after payment, Binance reserves the right to de-list your coin at any time, for any reason, solely at Binance's discretion, without refunds. *
Enough said here. Excellent point Bitcoinplusbus. You can't allow your principles to be undermined no matter how many clowns are making demands. That's why the sheeple are the way they are.You are around here a long time and know how things work in the long term.Stick to your guns here and ignore monkeys yammering about the place.Good job Btw it looks like it's too late to vote on the poll so put me down for answer A What principals am I undermining? What exactly was his point? MarketMagic: They only principal i can pick out of your post is "I don't care what this Jr. Member has to say" What demands am i making? For the DEV team to provide the their contact info to Binance exchange? I already volunteered to put together the rest of the info they require. What MarketMagic is saying is "Stick to your guns, do not add this coin to any other exchange". MarketMagic visits this forum so often that he is late to the vote. what has it been 2 weeks?

The Satoshi Revolution – Decentralized Exchanges Own the Future https://news.bitcoin.com/the-satoshi-revolution-chapter-3-decentralized-exchanges-own-the-future-part-1/A very good read on the freedom benefits of decentralized exchanges. Some comments too are interesting and invite reflexion: "Exchange from fiat to crypto and back is the walled gate that can be patrolled by 'The Powers that Be' (TBTB) in order to harass and persecute those that desire to shed the dollar for something better. This is where peaceful and nonviolent resistance needs to be focused in order to continue the flight of value from fiat which is beginning in earnest. The dollar only works if everyone is forced to play, as it is a Ponzi shell game. TPTB are scared! There is no un-ringing the blockchain bell. If they succeed in destroying one chain, like BTC, another will simply take its place and we will have learned a lesson about what not to do next time. Atomic swaps will enable us to move from chain to chain once our value is exchanged from fiat to crypto, so again, destroying one app/chain is meaningless."
"Also, the big revolution is in the decentralization of *basic (external) money*. If BTC or other crypto(s) achieve that, the world will look quite different, even if traditional financial institutions conduct business as usual upon BTC rather than state-branded fiat. It will be similar to the pre-central banking gold-standard era of competitive note issue, but much more resilient to the progressive state monopolization of money that occurred in the past. If in addition online decentralized banking services can be developed to bypass the hugely costly, dangerous, and destabilizing murky layers of state-imposed financial regulation, a new and probably permanent era of financial prosperity will be upon us--a near separation of money and state."

We are looking at adding PoS block type so the code can differentiate between PoS and PoW then make sure that LevelDB can store those PoS blocks. Then make sure we have the same difficulty adjust rules and we should be able to get the client to sync.We are hoping to see SegWit signalling in approx 1 month.Currently we are looking at another 716 commits.

Does anyone know how much was raised during the ICO? Was there a cap, and was it reached?
this is one of the questions of the Binance Listing Application Form and i was wondering for myself too out of curiosity.

This coin did not have an ICO. A previous coin with the same name did. Everything you need to know can be found on the website - https://www.bitcoinplus.org/https://www.bitcoinplus.org/sustainability_plan.phphttps://www.bitcoinplus.org/history.phpThe XBC Project will not be spending funds on any further Exchange Listings at this time. All funds are currently going towards wallet development. This position may change after the next round of updates. However we would hope that Exchanges would be approaching XBC rather than us approach them.

Nothing was raised through an ICO.Some community members took over the coin after it was abandoned and funded development themselves.Coin holders were given free coins on a 1:1 swap basis for the newly developed coin on a whole new chain.

It will be early in January if all goes according to plan but it may be sooner depending on progress.

XBC is not an investment.Prices can go up down or sideways like all other cryptocoins out there but the roadmap can be found on the website for a general idea of what we are trying to acheive. Our primary goal is consistent technical development.

I so wish this coin was on more exchanges, always dread that Polo will delist it, happened a few times with dead coins.
