How to teach kids about Bitcoin?

It's important to teach kids starting today about bitcoins and other digital currencies. Fortunately Minecraft made the most popular video game, Minecraft can now be used to teach kids about digital currency.

Minecraft game servers named PlayMC have incorporated bitcoin elements into the gaming environment, especially for children.

If you generalize the kids now a days they are most studying and there is only a few percentage of people who plays video games because most of the kids are focusing on their studies and that is what we need to avoid from crossing that line because if we will teach the kids to use bitcoin then they will get distracted from their concentration so i think this is not the right time.

Yes I am agree with you that to teach kids about bitcoin is best way for earning if child is growing and you teach the child about the bitcoin and in the school time he know about bitcoin and also he know all the techniques of bitcoin then the time will come that he will start earning bitcoin through signature campaign and other activities.

But is that really necessary? Signature campaigns are here today, but we don't know if they are going to remove it at some point. Bitcoin is one of those things in your childhood that you learn but never get to use if you're not actually interested to it. Just because kids are good at using gadgets, doesn't mean that they are interested in using such currency. As a matter of fact, kids are only good at using gadgets because it's user friendly or intuitive.

The kid might have some other passion in life. Let him grow by himself and explore while he's still young. Don't take that away from him by making him to busy earning his own money through bitcoins.

Yes kids now are good in technology and internet is the main interest of kids. That's why if you will teach them how to use bitcoin that will an easy thing to them because there are search engine's such as google where they can search a keyword for whatever question they want to know. So they mostly need monitoring.

It's better to teach it gradually as in the course curriculum, not necessarily give the expectation to quickly find bitcoin, at least they have to understand all the terms in bitcoin. There are two great things that we think about right now: gambling and trading. Direct them to both of these if they are 17+ or you will get your child as a gambler at an early age.

Why would you teach a child to gamble? I don’t know where you come from though the people that teach kids that they should gamble to earn money are looked at as a very bad person with a hidden agenda. I think that kids shouldn’t gamble no matter what situation they are in.

just imagine yourself being a kid, honestly you wouldn't give a fuck about the money not even talking about something more complicated that requires time to learn about, besides that children don't like learning so that would be just a failure. With time bitcoins will become a normal thing that people will use everyday thus it will be teached to people from a really small age thus they will be used to using it.

yes you are right it will be difficult for kids under 5 or 6 years to understand bitcoin and also that is time for them to have fun, But i think teaching bitcoin to the kids above 5 or 6 years will not be a tough job because in that age it is easy for kid to pick any thing and also in some countries the child labor is at the peak as those children who don't have any source of income they work for earning money, so i think earning from bitcoin is very much better for those children instead of working in workshops of vehicles or something else.

and that is an alarming situation, to me i am not favour of internet and btcoin to be teach to kids, they should only take in physical games and should take interest in their education, because internet can give so much entertainment that you will then find it hard to leave it for some moment, and will always remain stick to it. therefore to me i think it is too much important to keep children away from internet. and when they become mature then they should take active part in bitcoin.

Rather than teaching it through the toys it's good to teach team through the learning. Basically while a child starts learning the mother language is taught. Here little by little when the kids were to kindergarten while teaching different countries and flags one could teach the different currencies used worldwide. This will help them know much about it, when they grow up.

Sounds a bit condescending, I think these days kids know more about new techs like bitcoin than us older people do anyway. I think kids are curious enough to figure it out for themselves just like how kids are all into new smartphones, game consoles, computers etc...

but many cultures world wide are moving toward spending economy instead of focusing on "saving economy". Basically bitcoin always brings saving habits to its adopters and hence we can expect teaching kinds about bitcoin ecosystem might get them many positive aspects of life like saving money for better future.

Technology is really boosting the kids and will make new geniuses in our world faster to learn.
I have heard one kid who made an android application and made some USD just because of that.
This will be a new generation who will have kids that are exceptional.
But still it would be better if they stay at school. It is way too different in terms of teaching.
Maybe some of them will use bitcoin as their transaction currency in case they created another project for it.

Yeah I also thought that teach about bitcoin to kids is very important if kids learn how to earn money through bitcoin or manager their money in bitcoin and I think nowadays earn money throght bitcoin is very much important because I heard that a lot of school child afford their education expenditure through bitcoin earnings.
