Hi Quoine Support,

I would like to follow up on my issue (17403) concerning negative SGD balance appearing on my Quoine account.  This issue was filed in mid April and your Support team had responded that it had been forwarded to your technical team.  At least one month has passed,  the balance is still showing as negative.  Support tickets (17738, 21658) have been re-submitted and not yet received any updates from Support.  I was wondering if there are other Quoine users here who experienced a similar issue.

Is the issue of negative balance appearing on the user interface fixed?  Please advise.

Thank you.

I am having the same issues with withdrawals.
Both BTC and ETH. ETH does not have any issues with high fees yet so I think the explanation of high fees sounds a very strange to me.

This has the same marks as MtGox. No withdrawals and support stops answering and go quiet.

EDIT: Quoine support has been very helpful and I have recieved my withdrawals without any more problems

Same problem withdrawing ETH.

It's been 3 days since I've hit withdrawal and it's still processing. Support is not responding at all. QUOINEX - you have many worried customers. Please process my transaction asap.

Quoine seem to be rather dysfunctional at the moment. Expect withdrawals to happen between 24 and 48 hours, closer to 48. Don't expect to get any answer from support, that was many months ago.

The main question is of course if you want to trust an exchange with your money that doesn't answer emails...

I've desposited both ETH & BTC without problem. My balance has been credited after 50 and 3 confermation

But IMHO you have to change the min quantity to trade.. actually it seems 0.5 for each currecny but it should be lower for ETH and other high value crypto, don't you agree?  Roll Eyes

In order to comply with Japan Financial Services Agency (FSA) regulations and as we prepare to become a fully regulated financial institution in Japan, we are pleased to inform our users of additional measures related to Bitcoin and Ethereum wallets. These measures will ensure the highest level of control in how customers funds are managed and include full segregation of customer funds as well as multi-sig cold wallet. Thus effective on July 10, 2017 at 12:00 JST, all BTC and ETH funds will be stored in segregated wallets. Additionally, BTC funds will be stored in multi-sig cold wallets on this date and time.

As a result of this migration, please note that DEPOSIT ADDRESSES WILL CHANGE FOR BOTH BTC AND ETH. Log in to your QUOINEX account after July 10th, 2017 12:00 PM JST to get the new deposit address, and make sure that you are sending BTC and ETH to the correct address. Otherwise, your deposits may be lost.

QUOINE's Position on the Anticipated Bitcoin Fork

1) If the fork occurs, your assets will be safe. We plan to support withdrawals for various versions of Bitcoin, arising from the split(s).

2) During the events leading up to the fork and during the occurrence of the fork, we will monitor the situation until the effect of the fork can be ascertained in order to maintain the safety of our customers’assets. Trading is expected to continue as usual. Downtime might happen depending on the situation, and we will notify all customers before the fork.
In any case, bitcoin deposit and withdrawal service will be unavailable from July 31st, 2017 (Monday) 10:00 AM JST (1:00 AM UTC), and is expected to resume on August 4th, 2017 (Friday) 4:00 PM JST (7:00 AM UTC). The latter might change depending on the situation.

3) After the fork occurs, we will contact you again regarding QUOINE's decision to list the different versions of Bitcoin. You will also be notified about our operations right before and after the fork to avoid any confusion.

The update from quoine
It is now highly likely the Bitcoin blockchain will undergo a UAHF (User Activated Hard Fork) on August 1st, 2017, which will result in the creation of a new blockchain and a new crypto currency called Bitcoin Cash. The fork is expected to happen at 9:20PM JST, or 12:20PM UTC on August 1st, 2017. You can find more information about Bitcoin Cash here: https://www.bitcoincash.org

As always, we at QUOINE will be taking necessary measures to ensure a smooth trading experience, keeping in mind first of all our customers assets and accounts security. As announced previously, all BTC withdrawals and deposits will be disabled before the fork to prevent any potential issues that may arise as a result of the fork.

We have also received many inquiries regarding BCC (Bitcoin Cash) crypto currency. As an exchange, our goal is to provide a fair exchange platform which is highly secure and compliant. As a result of the fork, users that hold BTC in their balances at the time of the fork will be credited equivalent BCC. Additionally, as your margin trading feature involves BTC lending that will complicate BCC distribution, we believe it is in the best interest of all to stop margin trading before and during the fork. We are also asking our users to close their margin positions by August 1 12:00 JST (3:00AM UTC). Any margin positions still open after this time will be force closed by the system. This is to ensure a fair distribution of BCC.

If you are a Japan based user using our CFD trading facility, you will still be able to keep your CFD positions open.

To summarize, please take note of the following measures regarding the anticipated fork:

1) BTC deposit and withdrawal services will be unavailable from July 31st 12:00AM JST (July 30th 3:00PM UTC) and are expected to resume on August 6th 4:00 PM JST (August 6th 7:00AM UTC).
2) Margin trading will be disabled from August 1st 12:00PM JST (3:00AM UTC).
3) All open positions will be force-closed on August 1st 12:00PM JST (3:00AM UTC).

Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at support@quoine.com.

Best regards,
Team QUOINE

Waiting for my ETH withdrawal since 27 Jul, ID: 29773 still processing   Angry
Unacceptable.  I get instant transfers with Gemini, Kraken.  The only reason to use Q is the SGD deposit but it looks like it's not worthwhile.

Is there currently a delay IDR withdrawal once more? Last I tried was on May and it arrived within a day but I made another one and it's now almost two days now. Can you please confirm how long it would take if there's indeed a delay? I had fund stuck here for more than a week last year and it would be really nice to get a heads up so I can cancel.

Check ticket 32595 for the account detail.

Bitcoin Cash Withdrawal Service Now Ready
As Bitcoin Cash (BCH) deposit and trading service became available shortly after the Bitcoin fork on August 1st 2017, they have received multiple inquiries regarding withdrawals of this crypto currency, and many of their customers have been looking forward to the service that would help further facilitate trading activities.
Starting August 24th 2017 Japan time, BCH withdrawal service will be available for all QUOINEX users.
BCH incoming transactions generally take a longer time than their BTC counterpart to be broadcast on the blockchain. It can take a while for your receiving address to reflect the change

Hi. I cannot find any ETH trade log in the mailed csv log file.

I'm certain I've traded ETHJPY (spot) several times in March, May and Jun this year.
But there is no row matching ETH in the mailed report file, which I got via
'Volumes & Balances' tab -> TRANSACTED VOLUME section -> Email report.
I've included whole this year in the report period (From and To fields).
I can find BTC and even recent "BCH"-JPY spot trade rows in the report csv file,
but surely no ETH word anywhere in it.

How can I get ETH trade logs?
