I certainly agree with your statement, if you are living with your income here in bitcointalk, you cannot just hold your bitcoins as everyday you need to attend on your expenses, it is good to hold for a longer period of time but not all of our resources, it should be a balance living, that we have investment and at the same time we will be able to pay our bills and other needs.

Holding today is really a good decision and I would say that don't say that you are going to never sell your bitcoin. Because how you are going to get profit if you are never going to sell it, it is better if the price makes you feel high already then that is the right time to sell bitcoins. But as of now, what is better thing to do is just buy.

Holding today is really a good decision and I would say that don't say that you are going to never sell your bitcoin. Because how you are going to get profit if you are never going to sell it, it is better if the price makes you feel high already then that is the right time to sell bitcoins. Holding is the safe way to make profits but only holding without selling at any point doesn't make any sense as if we never sell our coins then we would never be able to make profits out of it.

If you never sell then you will never make profits from it, if price exceeds then your entry price then its better to sell them off and grab the profits as it will definitely go down in future and that would be the good time to buy it again.

Of course. You don't might wanna plan to hold your bitcoins and not sell them ever because you can't say for sure until when bitcoin is going to stay alive! However, holding bitcoins may be a good long-term strategy.

That sounds a good strategy, only holding will not serve the purpose in long run, so we should try to grow them with trading and make regular profits and once price goes higher its better to sell them to generate more profits.

yes , i usually now , not selling my bitcoin because i am making some stability with the bitcoin wallet balance and i am making some direct purchase because i want save my transactions fees by stopping the btc convert into fiat or bank money .

Of course, if we are thinking of profit, we should pump and dump according to the volatility of bitcoin at the time. It is not wise to hold forever if we want to make our bitcoin grow. It is good to spend bitcoin once in a while, it is good for the economy of bitcoin and profitable for the user as well.

well, everybody has their own decision. I think OP had mentioned why we should never sell our bitcoin and I thought it make sense. That such opinion just come from people who had a strongly believes in future of bitcoin, I do believe, so I would always have savings my btc and just convert it into fiat money if I need to buy/pay something urgent.

If we are in need of money then we should not hesitate in selling them as if you will not use it at the time of emergency then there is no point in having them but make sure that you sell only that amount you really need.

I think those user who do not sell their coin is their waiting for more profit and they are not satisfied with current value of bitcoin, but me i use to do trading while having extra investment in my bitcoin wallet. I do not like to wait without doing anything to earn profit.

There are really people who would tend to  hold their bitcoins  no matter  what and they would  definitely wait for a certain price which they are  comfortable to sold all their coins but there are some  would like to  do short tradings   to see  profit in a  hosrt period of time compare to those  who hold only their bitcoins.
