Bitcoin can't replace any national currency that is created and governed by laws. The government would not allow any decentralized cryptocurrency as a national currency. But the government can create their own cryptocurrency that might replace the dollar in the future.

I find it difficult to replace the dollar in the near future, this is because the influence of the dollar is so dominant and large that it takes a long time to replace the dollar with bitcoin (maybe at least 40 years).

Honestly, if the government want to apply the blockchain technology in FIAT system, I think it is impossible.
First of all, the nature of blockchain is decentralized network and created by all user of its system.
Therefore, no one can owns key master in this system because it will make the opposite the definition of blockchain technology created by Satoshi Nakamoto.

I do not think that bitcoin replace dollar very soon because bitcoin is online currency and dollars are offline currency so i believe you cannot compare those two but if you had to yes bitcoin will replace dollar just because of the fact that 1 btc is 8.3k dollars.

It's depends in society and the government on the next 15 years. If on that year every transaction is based on digital, digital currency like bitcoin or altcoin is very possible to replace Dollar.

There is no way that we can make a comparison in between a cryptocurrency and some internationally recognized currency like that of dollar. There is no doubt that bitcoin is a very good thing and it has so many features but the thing is dollar is an international currency and is having a very good reputation in the entire world. People are using it since centuries and they think of dollar as the best currency.

BTC is not a fiat and we should not compare btc against any fiat. BTC is decentralized and highly secure. Yet unstable, fluctuates a lot. No one can control BTC , solely. There are many factors that influence the price and volume. And if you consider the price, BTC is king already. In some parts of the world, USD is not even considered as official fiat. BTC can be used there and already people have started to use BTC .

In my opinion, bitcoin are not really replace dollar. But bitcoin we can used it as a currency, bitcoin now is higher value than dollar right now. But if their a chance that we used bitcoin as official currency in the world, no more hunger, no more poverty, no more war. Because I believe bitcoin is the big help to us.

i think it can be because nothing is constant in this world. If ever that bitcoin will be super popular in future and many people depend on it maybe that dollar may be replce by bitcoin. Nothing is impossible in this world.

I dont really agree with you, i think bitcoin will never replace dollar even now or even in the future, bitcoin is just a crypto currency, the best cryptocurrency rather, but to replace  dollar is very impossible, dollar is known by everyone in this world because dollars is the many people needs in there daily lives.

I dont think that bitcoin will replace dollar soon or in the future rather, dollar is very important for many people so in that way bitcoin has never have a chance to replace dollar in the future, but to be popular like dollars or to do what the dollars can do i think that is possible in the future.

Even bitcoin currency has been popular, bitcoin cant replace dollar cause its simple bitcoin has no owner. ( satoshi nakamoto had no proof of living ) there so many theories that someday in future bitcoin will replace dollar but its actually not. no currency will replace by using bitcoin. and also bitcoin is a cryptocurrency so  bitcoin in the money that you cant touch but you can go anywhere with it. in terms of dollar and other currency except cryptocurrencies dollar is can handle.

I think there is one main difference is the nature of these two currencies like dollar is an international currency which is acceptable everywhere and used for many transaction world wide and the dollar has physical existence as well while in the case of bitcoin it is digital if internet is working this currency is usable otherwise you will be zero. Just his opinion about bitcoin but i dont think that will happen, fiat is something that can't be replaced cause of it's history. Things that you are using daily and it's need much time to change it. So if this happen , i think the next 100 years maybe ?

Even in the next 100 years, I do not see it happening. Over time, technology may evolve, older folks get bounced, more of the new folks who are more technologically oriented move in to the scene and we may see the lesser use for paper currency but that does not mean that government controlled fiats would not always still be in existence and bitcoin can and will never be an alternative.

I do not think Bitcoin will be able to replace the dollar,because this dollar his position high and Bitcoin has only emerged since 2009 and if Bitcoin will replaces the dollar I think it will not be easy.
