We know bitcoin can buy something in the 3D world now. Someone can use this “money” to buy food, clothes… but we must know, every coin has two pieces. Bitcoin has not only benefits, but also disadvantages.

It doesn't matter because bitcoin will never replace the dollar. Dollar has its own purpose and that is to be use as a money for doing daily basis transactions in our life and bitcoin is just an investment that we can use in order to make our money grow and have a very secured place for our money but for daily basis transaction, it is a fail to use bitcoin because in my country, the fee of bitcoin alone can cost up to $5-$10.

Nope. I very doubt government will want to relinquish control...

As a sub currency it could gain mainstream use but i think there will be much blood before BTC replace the Dollar.

I dont think bitcoin will replace dollar soon. We cant predict even if the price of bitcoin is too high as of now. Dollar is still the trusted for many people and this the most common i think than bitcoin it is not yet known by many people.

This is likely to be an event but it probably will not happen because it is just too much in this period, it is possible not possible in a long time but instantly significant.
The problem is that Bitcoin is too small to do it now, it would be too big to get even a lot of time to try it in my opinion.

Overall it is possible however it probably does not happen.

Even if you go to the future, the chances are very thin, the US dollar has been meaningful and since they can not place their currency in a crypto currency it will weaken them and their industry.

You should know mainly currencies (includes Dollars) the its value is attached with valuable commodity and circulation quantity depend on accumulate Gold of Government, this mean is dollars or any paper currencies was guaranteed by gold. We can expect that, the continued increase of price is brought by big demand and it cannot be done by a certain individual only.

For 15 years? I think it's impossible since altcoins are also doing their job to replace bitcoin. And besides the government will be the one of bitcoin's problem. That is just my other side opinion. Bitcoin is a digital money and dollar is a fiat currency. They are different and no one replaces the other.

I think the question is when or if Bitcoin will replace the dollar as an official international currency. I think it's possible. However, first must happen the general acceptance of cryptocurrencies as a fully-legit payment instrument. Later it will be easier. I think it can happen in about 10 years.
