and there is honestly any other legal reason for holding bitcoin than some dreams about moon?Smiley of course not. I done with this, I lost a lot, learned a lot and now except 1 paper wallet with 1 BTC on it, I'm also totally out.

great feeling tbh:)

there is actually, hoping for major adoption so bitcoin can be used everywhere and in every single place, direclty without dumping, that's the final, real hope for bitcoin, not just dumping for fiat

and you are still believe this? sorry, but you must live on another planet or level of you naivety reaching skies. please, go outside time to time and ask somebody in public transport or on square, what he thinks about bitcoin. maybe, answers will surprise you,

what he think it does not matter, because adoptino take time, and because adoption does not mean everyone on this planet using bitcoin, that would be overkill and it is not needed

i believe that current generation has nothing to do with bitcoin, we need a new one

what is age range of "new" generation please?

you mean those young 20yo guys with iphones from their parents or chicks taking selfies on instagram? yeah yes, those will use bitcoin for sure:) btw what "take time" means? 10 years? 100 years? I don't wan't to say, that crypto principle itself is wrong and I also think, that there will be some crypto instead of paper money. point is, that I honestly don't even believe, that it will be fancy bitcoin..

Bitcoin will only become big if it becomes accessible to everyone easily. Most people don't want the hassle. When bitcoin becomes as easy to use as it's safe, people will naturally start using it.
It already has a bunch of qualities, such as low fees and fast transactions.

The only few remaining flies on the ointment are mostly related to bitcoin being a nerdy, hard to use currency and its volatility, which is scaring people away.

Sorry for what I'm about to say but people mostly behave like sheep: the more people use bitcoin the more people start using bitcoin. All it takes is for it to be easy to use, some good advertising, and that's the trick. We all should take some advertising and designing lessons form Steve Jobs ;-)

new generation can be new born or some of the already non-retarded people on this planet, that understand technology/have an open mind to them and don't live too much in the past

no those 20 year with an iphone for each of their ear are not well sutied i know

"take time" means 10-15 more years(2030), this is in line with he satoshi prediction

Bitcoin will have a hard time getting bigger if we're only going for smart people who understand technology...
I, for one, want to get these "20 year olds with an iphone paid for by their parents" to join the hike. Bitcoin users don't need to understand the technology, as long as it works. Who understands how iphones work? I sure don't. Still lots of people are using them (I'm not, but I don't understand how my ZTE smartphone works either, anyway). Same for computers and stuff. Hell most people don't even understand economy but that doesn't impede them from using local currencies to buy stuff, am I wrong? People use what they're told to use, may it be indirectly, through fashion and advertising, or directly, through laws and government policies.
We can get them to use bitcoin by making it trendy. Easiness of use and advertising are the major keys to it.

Just landed at $400 a pop, but still holding and waiting for the big payday for BTC coins,

That's good, lets keep coins coz it is just starting to step up on $400, price might still be going up in the coming months so better keep it..  Smiley

don't get too excited, this is just the overall steady rise that has been happening forever. this is not we were all waiting for. this upward trend will continue going up as bitcoin grows but the bubble which might happen around the halving is going to be big and sudden.
Yes I do. I think if I wait now a little longer then I can have with a price increase a lot of money. But we never know what can happen.
I hope later that the value will rise and that many people will know what Bitcoin is and what it can do.

Yes, price rise will promote bitcoin to the rest of the world and will do the required things to get bitcoin to become as a main stream payment system. So, holding bitcoins now itself will ensure ourselves within future revolution.

Yes everyone who is holding to bitcoin is looking for a an perk in terms of increase in the value of bitcoin and yes we are taking risk because we will lose if the price goes down

I voted "Yes, i wait for price increase", but actually not only that I think the price of Bitcoin will rise is holding me from selling them. Even if the price will be around $1k for 1 BTC I'm not going to sell because I'm sure it will rise even more in the future.

Yes I do. But I also invest now in Bitcoins. I think It will be more worth later. And then I can get some more profit in the future,
But there is a risk that you should take, because you can also lose a lot of money with it and that is not so good.

Will the bitcoin will worth later or not? Whatever the answer it's really wise and a good way if one will do the holding the bitcoin thing while at the same time accumulating some more.

No one knows the exact scenario in the future so why ourselves our the one who found out the answer for this.

Many Bitcoin's users are holding their coins nowadays because it's predicted that the Bitcoin's price will increase soon and especially after the next halving, so i think yes it's not bad idea and could be profitable

The prediction really gaining some believers. That will be the reason of the price increase and not the result of halving.

If the result of rumors of halving will become true then with some rumors build before halving, definitely it will really make the price really goes up.

I don't think that will be a wise move to don't sell them even for $1k per BTC, maybe your prediction become true and it keep growing, but what if it starts falling? You will lose a chance to get extra profit.

Well, I guess you have reached that now since it has been going up this past few days. That is the knowledge of trading patience and being intelligent on when you will reach your quota of profit.

Well maybe it is, the price will sure rise to a high amount.
I'm holding them too for a price increase but the price will be over the 1000 dollar maybe even more so if you do not sell them it can be good.

If you are really a bitcoin believer and know all the market moves, that kind of profit taking percentage "today with a current price" is really not a wise move even the price went down again to $350.

But ok that is your money. Just want to give suggestion that it is not worth.

You are taking away some extra profit.
