Bitcoin is a long term investment to me, I am holding in the desperate hope that we go to the moon & I make lots of money. If not I will have failed & be sad.
 The moon again. Cmon man. It will not go to the moon literally or not. It will just rise. Maybe a tide will be good metaphor for that. But regarding the rise I also am hoping for that big up . I also consider bitcoin as a long term investment, but it is not guarantee that i will profit so the hope push me to invest more in bitcoin in the near future. It is a investment, so the price will go up or down. At present, the price of bitcoin is very volatile. |

Not bad to hold your bitcoin until the price is gonna increase. But you should anticipate if bitcoin decrease in value so to anticipate it you have to make 30% of total your bitcoin for long term investment and the rest 70% to trade and spend it out daily. with spend bitcoin everyday you already help bitcoin price increase and grow . both action are needed between hold bitcoin and spend bitcoin. |

Yeah price will go up for sure in the coming months and we just need to wait and watch and sell bitcoins at a right time when it is giving some profits, so holding bitcoins at a moment is a good option, and I am holding my bitcoins for the same reason to earn some profits out of it. Price has fall down at a moment but I don't think there is anything to worry. |

i am not holding all my bitcoins , i split it so i can use half of my money to get profit (trading, gambling etc) and the other to hold untill halving come in the middle of this year , some people said in June maybe.

Then wait until BTC will fall below 200 USD and you may buy after that. why would you keep a such volatile commodity as Bitcoin? Just trade it and try to make profit or limit the losses. Speculation! |

I just bought bitcoin from a local wallet site. I'm going to hold this for a while although I'm gambling some of it. Waiting for the price to increase, I'm doing this for like 5 months now. Buy bitcoin at low price, and then sell it for a higher price. After that, I will wait for it to go down again. |

Just be careful and try not spending your coins in the gambling sites because it's really risky and you can become addicted gambler easily and then you could lose all your hard earned coins in less than a fraction of second |

I am also holding some bitcoins, yes. But I think sometimes holding bitcoins is not wise if you cannot take care of it, recently a friend of mine lost a lot of bitcoins because he forgot identifier of wallet ( blockchain ) and no longer has the access to that email though. |

smart thing. it should go near 290 usd next week it rise 20$ from last 2 days again so its not going to 290$ any way so its still a better time to buy if you want to buy because the price is rising again and you can not say where it will stop maybe at 480$ again ? |
