Yes i am. i'm holding my bitcoin for a price increase maybe until $1.000, i hope so. but if it reach $500 or $600 i will sell all my bitcoin though.

It's not a good idea to sell all your coins at once. I would sell only 50% at most and hold the rest for when the price keeps rising. Otherwise it's no fun. Most people who sell all their coins end up being unhappy.

I intend to replace PayPal with Bitcoin in the not so far future. I already bought things with Bitcoins but usually buying with Bitcoins is not an offered option. I'm puzzled that so many seem to hold on their bitcoins hoping they will become billionaires in due time. Not so sure this is going to happen. A somewhat stable Bitcoin might be better for its future anyway.

The price of bitcoin in the long term can only go up. Of course that assumes there is demand. And in order for there to be demand there needs to be an incentive. And in order for there to be an incentive more shops need to use it. And in order for more shops to use it people need to be willing to spend it.

By all means set some aside. But try and use it!

Beware of scammers.

Ok what you are describing is Bitcoin being used as currency.
But there is way more which could lead to more increase of it's value. The biggest at the moment seems to be the speculation effect.
So speculation brings people in to buy and hold for a future increase.
What do you think will happen to the price when institutional investors starts to join us?!
Or when some of the gold holders decide to switch over to Bitcoin?!
Just 1% of the gold market would kick the BTC market cap up to $70billion.

From what i've learned every time the price is high, sell and take profit.

Then wait patiently and buy back your coins cheaper.
This theory was always, if we are lucky we can make good profit.
Currently i am holding my bitcoins, i know that something will happen at the halving period so wait for it.

That theory doesn't work if you can't analyze/predict bitcoin price well. Most likely we'll lose, only the professional ones who can make good profit.
Also, i think halving itself won't move bitcoin price much, but the hype will.
If you don't analyze the trend and how market is going on then this is pretty much like a form of gambling (maybe not true)
I decided my self to not sell the bitcoins at least not below $550 and trying to hold as much as i can safety.

That is the right thing to do, and it would surely go above that and I am holding it for the same as I know the price of bitcoins would be much higher in the coming months and I won't sell all my bitcoins I will keep few of it for the future as we are not aware that what bitcoins holds for us in future.

For 2016 i sure do expect a price increase, but let's be honest, it's hard to say how big and how much.

I just hope it will be sufficient so i can cash more.

Yes the price is going higher at a moment no doubt it is much more stable at present as compared to the past but I am sure it would be reaching to a new level in the coming months so at present holding the bitcoins is the best thing to do as you would surely earn some profits in the year 2016 as the experts have said that the value of bitcoins would cross $550 in coming months and I am holding my bitcoins for the same.

Yes, holding bitcoin will fetch more profit in short-term. The recent price raise is the good example for this.
Those who are all having bitcoin since two-month back, just got doubled their value of bitcoin by today. Same way if you hold bitcoin for long-term like for next 10 years, we can expect hundredfold rise of our net worth value.

Not only waiting for halving I am waiting with bitcoin to go with high price in future. May be after 5 years If you see the bitcoin’s price, It may comes around 1000$ more at that time. So better save bitcoin long term is my goal.

Looks like you are panic selling right now, I hope you don't regret selling it. IMO it is the right time now to buy some "cheap" coins and sell it later on, especially on 2016. I also used to panic sell before and I totally regretted it but I learned from it. Anyways it is still your choice.

Yes, he is right and that is what I am doing right now. Everytime the price dips, I buy even just small amount. It does not bother me if the price is low, I think of it as an opportunity to accumulate more bitcoins and then hold them until the price reach a thousand or more.

Just because the price is dropping you think it is the right time to sell? Doesn't make any sense. This is what panic sellers do to prevent bigger losses. Looks like you're one of them.

No worries. His action won't really affect the volume as you need thousands of coins to move the price. And besides majority here didn't do that way. Bulls still prevail lol.

In all honesty, I can really see the price of bitcoin increasing within the period of a year probably up to $500+ at least. it is good to hold onto them for the price increase but I would like to see if I can try and increase my BTC via trading

Holding bitcoin for price increase must be a wise decision than investing it into trading or gambling or any other HYIP programs. Holding bitcoin must be a passive way of getting interest for the invested money. If you believe in the future of bitcoin then you should leave your bitcoin sleep that will get you more profits in a passive way.

You are right. Investing into bitcoin and holding it for longer period would be a way of making fortunes. Satoshi must be a
good example for this. If he would have spent all his bitcoin then he will not be billionaire by this time. Just holding the bitcoin is the reason for his success of becoming a billionaire. Let us hold to become millionaire.
