Yes I too believe this year one bitcoin will worth more than $2000. I do not have any big amounts in bitcoins. But I do save all my satoshis I do earn from my signature campaign and faucet earnings.

Hey mate, do not sell all your bitcoins, just sell part of it and keep rest safe for the future as we are not sure what would be price of bitcoin in future, if it reaches $1000 mark then it is better that we sell some bitcoins and enjoy the profits.

Well speculations about price increase after halving is really rotating. Let' say that speculation will not happen, the price will still increase because that rumor will make people to buy more coins to saved some and take part of the benefits that halving will give. If more people will buy then definitely the price will increase.

Take note that this is just a speculation. So in order to achieved your trip in end of the year, do some bitcoin earnings method and accumulate more coins while you can and learn to minimize losses while you are holding.

You should earn bitcoins first and try your luck on gambling, not advised though, but if you are lucky then you can make a good money out of it, which can take care of your trip and also you will be holding some bitcoins in your digital wallet.

Yes gambling can indeed get a lot bitcoin but really say it is not recommended because of the loss bitcoin will also be a big risk. If you bet just do it, that's your choice.

I was 100% in Bitcoin.

Then it became clear that Ethereum is setting up to be chosen as "Fed Coin".   At $1.25 I moved about 1/2 my Bitcoins into Ethereum.

At $1.50 I moved another 10% in.  At $2+ dollars I moved in another 10%.

30% of my holdings are still in Bitcoin, but as it become apparent that Bitcoin is going to fall into a Classic vs Core ugly and dangerous hardfork war - I am most likely going to move another 20% of bitcoin into Ethereum.

That will leave me 10% Bitcoin / 90% Ethereum.

Depending on how the Bitcoin War goes, I will most likely eventually move back to about a 50/50 ratio of Ethereum to Bitcoin.

But for now I think Ethereum has the soonest price explosion.  I basically think it will hit $10 before bitcoin hits $500.  So that is a  500% increase in ethereum before a 50% increase in Bitcoin.  Not much to think about.

And for the record.... I like Bitcoin much more than Ethereum.  But that doesn't mean Bitcoin will win.  Love with your heart. Invest on the merits and facts.  Fact is that Bitcoin is a confused mess that is scaring people right now, and Ethereum is the golden child getting ready to launch Phase 2 which will open it up to a much broader audience.

I will come back to bitcoin after things settle down.

But for right now I keep thinking back to what it would have been like to buy Bitcoin when it was just a few dollars.   I now have that chance with Ethereum and I am taking it.  I DO NOT ADVISE ANYONE to move into Ethereum until you have researched it thoroughly though.  Including Wallets, running a node, security, and upcoming version (Homestead, Metropolis, Serenity)

I agree. But the ethereum manipulation is still following an overall upward cure.  Whereas Bitcoin is going to be in a general downward spiral until the fork is completely behind us.  ANd that is eeasily 1 - 2 months away.  Why sit on a sled heading downhill, when the next train over is going up?

Holding, but thinking of diversifying my assets to further increase the potential profits I might make. 100% in bitcoin isn't a good investment atm. I might try and see whether other coins might do me good.

We haven't sure for this. ETH can't be just considered a next train just because of this pumps lately. Plus there are some awesome event that will happen in bitcoin so I see too that this ETH pump will not last longer. But for safety, I will try to accumulate some ETH.

Yes that is the good strategy to follow, and many of us are holding our bitcoins for the price increase, so that we can sell some bitcoins and earn good money out of it, the price is good at a moment but can afford to wait till it crosses $500 mark.

It has a bright future for sure, but don't wait till it reaches to $9k as we are not sure what will be the exact price in future, instead you need to sell when the price reaches $1k or more, and wait again to buy some coins when the price falls down.

I am also sure that bitcoin prices will reach $10,000 price levels also. By believing like this, not saving bitcoins for future must be a life time mistake then. I keep on saving my each and every satoshi for my future.

I am purchasing goods with it and using BTC more and more I feel that gives a better chance of price increase. I don't think its gonna get too 9k or 10k anytime soon , but maybe few years from now.
