If you have no reason to sell your bitcoin then the best way is to save them, and for the moment i am holding them.

That is extremely right. Just seeing the fluctuation of bitcoin better save it there. Just use what you really need and leave some for price increase. That is the best way to gain some profit.

Of course it is right, man this is the reality, currently the price is not what we want,
So selling at this price can makes us unhappy because it was much more ($50+) before some weeks.

In all honesty, I can really see the price of bitcoin increasing within the period of a year probably up to $500+ at least. it is good to hold onto them for the price increase but I would like to see if I can try and increase my BTC via trading

trading is good if you know how to do it. that's just for bitcoin. if you trade altcoins then the risk is way too high as investing in altcoins can be seen as gambling. it's purely luck that you need when investing in altcoins.

To hold bitcoin for long-term, you must have some other source of income for your living.
Or, you must buy some bitcoin from your regular salary just like an investment on monthly basis.
Otherwise, if you are making some bitcoin and if you in need of any online purchase, then it will be very hard to hold your bitcoins for long-term.

That is right. You really have to be careful trading and watch carefully when the stats will go up or down. Dont click that trade button yet if you are not sure

I would say, why bother holding on to them now. Just sell them as the price is not changing much and only going back and forth and ending up at the same number at the end of the day.
I do predict it will fall at the beginning of the year as it does every year due to it being a highly volatile currency and any wind of change will cause it into a panic

I think nobody can predict the short term bitcoin price action. It is too volatile. The market cap is too small.

yes I hold bitcoin for price increases and I hold it for the long term. but if there is a need I was forced to sell.

I don't see it heading towards 11m a piece in our lifetime or even our children's lifetime. I'm not sure if bitcoin will succeed but if it will, it will reach 10,000 per bitcoin in aprox 10 years. I'm taking the risk to hold a dozen of bitcoins and wait for a miracle to happen

I wonder when will btc reach 4000USD ? It is possible and has a slight probability to reach 4000USD in no time under a really good situation, but assume that we are on "normal" situation (which is, it increases and reduces with flukes as how happens nowadays), how long would it take to reach 4000? 10 years?

I agree there are many risk in trading bitcoin, but when I considered the profits I can get from the trading of bitcoin then the average are very low. So, I do not believe in holding bitcoin for making fortune.

It would go much higher then $400 but its good to hold at a moment as the price would surely go higher in coming months, So we need to have patience and keep our bitcoins safe in cold storage and wait for the right time, I am holding my coins for the same reason, I would sell my bitcoins if it reaches $500 mark.

But bitcoin trading also has many risks like gambling. Like you, many people do not prefer to hold that bitcoin ideally. They think the money it is kept ideally is not making any interest or will not get any profit. This may be right with fiat currencies. But not true with bitcoins. If you believe your ideal gold will gain value over time, then bitcoin also. Interestingly bitcoin is more quicker for higher returns.

To make bitcoin trading more profitable, you must be a good bitcoin trader and must have many trading strategies. Otherwise bitcoin trading is more dangerous like gambling to wipe out all your investments. By considering the situation I would say holding bitcoin simply would be the better option to get our fortune without taking any risk.
