yup just adding .01 btc every week sometimes a bit more if there is a sudden drop, my price average is about $232

You are pretty lucky to have an average price like that.
There are people who have purchased coins in the $600s and are not sure when they will break even.

Did someone say my name??
Wink
Yea I'm one of those people that was buying at $800 plus. I was buying on the way up and the whole way back down. I'm glad I never went all in and just kept to steady monthly buys. I should do the math one day and see what my price average is.

I am also one of those people holding for the long term investment.  In the mean time, I am investing them in order to increase my bitcoin count.  I have made a few bad investments, such as UCO1 and Investing Bitcoin, but hey, we all learn the hard way, I am just glad I only lost .15 when I could have lost 40 or 50.

How many successful investments have you made? I didn't think such a thing was possible in this space.

i think like most people i hold my coins for a higher price as it is an investment for me. if the price at some point reaches a price level i am happy with, i will then sell some coins or buy something cool with my coins.

50% of my coins will get sold if the price is right, and the other 50% will stay in my wallet probably for ever.

I think that generally all Bitcoin users at the moment are holding their coins for a future price increase. Yes, people are transacting, using bitcoins, buying stuff, but everybody is hoping for a price increase and is counting on it.

There is also nothing wrong with this. After all we are all still early adopters and we are taking the biggest risk on our back by investing in Bitcoin at these times. This risk does deserve a reward and I hope we all get it in the future.

No. Definitely not putting high hope though. Currently looking into options to diversify it. I think looking closely at the price movements these past few months it's quite clear where we should expect it to be.

So are you holding your bitcoins for future events such as halving or you more like to spend your bitcoins when you get it? I personally like to spend it for digital goods usually...

I do both hold and spend my Bitcoins, it is always a good idea to never hold all your eggs in one basket so I invest, spend and save. If we get another bubble in future I will spend most of my holdings for sure.

Good to know your bad investment but you wrote that you are investing in order to increase your bitcoin count. So you are doing even good investments. can you share please the good investments in order that everyone can utilize those. I tell this because I doubt that in this moment have good investments in bitcoin when everyone can participate. Thanks!

If I have a big amount of bitcoin then I prefer to hold it and wait for price increase but if it's only 1-5 or 10 bitcoin i'll just convert it into fiat and spend it.

I'm not holding them for a price increase, rather than holding them because I believe in bitcoin. I don't have enough for the price to matter that much to me.
