Since the price is increasing from the last week,
I don't think anybody wants to sell their bitcoins.
Because of the hope that next day the price will increase.

And if you look at the markets right now, everything seemed to be bullish and is continuously pushing the price upward. No one wants to sell on that. Wink

So how long will you guys hold for?  I personally am not going to let all my coins go ever.  There seems to be no point because we don't know what limit the price can reach.

I personally will hold what little coins I have and am buying from people that have very little and don't care about them because they don't see them as valuable. These are the ones that looked into it to see what all the hype was about and left it for awhile and forgot about them. At this point every little "bit" counts.

Nobody will hold bitcoins for ever at least my opinion.
Maybe those who are bitcoin addicted and the lost bitcoins will stay there.
If i get a good offer for cash then why not, but at the moment its not the time to spent.

Wow you never sell you can't say what will happen someday and I believe there are time that if you saq that price of bitcoin at $1000 or $2000 I don't think you will not attempt to sell it specially in emergency. For me as long as I can hold it I will hold.

Why? $500 is a sign of good health but still way below the ground floor in terms of future potential. Unless you have a relative who needs an operation there's really no compelling reason to get out of BTC. No one was sad from making a profit but if you left every single coin far behind that may well haunt you in the years to come.

Taj's a pretty awesome tomb  Tongue
How much do you think it will cost you to be buried in it? I doubt they would accept bitcoin as a form of payment. Unless you go their silicon valley of the east epicenter.  Cheesy

With today's price of $323, we can confirm that $500 levels are within reach. Those who are holding bitcoin for price raise have proved they are right themselves. I do not have that much coins with me. So not able to enjoy the party right away.

Yes. Everything in this world has it's own selling price. It means, some day you will find the good price to sell off all your bitcoins or some percentage of your holding. Even some people wants to hold for their entire life and then they will sell all of their coins to their grand children for zero cost.

People have the ultimate control over their bitcoin,we cant forced them to selling their bitcoin, but it would be great idea if we keep and hold our bitcoin and someday we give it to the our child or even grand child, just print the paper wallet and make it sure they're safe. i think thats gonna be awesome

Saving bitcoin for our children or grand children must be very good idea if we consider the price appreciations of bitcoins. So far people show interest on bitcoin like the retirement account. Now they are talking about taking bitcoin to the next generation.

If you don't sell it then no use. You may just see every day prices moving up and down so you should book a profits now and then to take the advantages of price movements

But these are not an usual practice of non trading people. The most common bitcoiners just buy bitcoin and will hold it for a higher price or till the need of spending it. Now many people might have delighted on seeing this bitcoins 100 dollars rally in quick period.

That is depend to the person if he is trader or investor in bitcoin as I said before that if he holding the bitcoin for long time and there a time the bitcoin will hit the high price I think he will attempt to sell it or chance to fiat.
