At the moment I only have very small amount and won't be enough to buy anything. My goal is to have at least 1 BTC for holding and anything beyond for purchase when possible.

i have to planning 1 btc for long time investment so i will always hold btc whatever the price.
I think that OP has put the answer in the question. Most of the people (probably all) if they hold is because of the hope that one day the price will increase to 1-2k. Currently i am holding too, but if i get a good offer to sell i will sell, otherwise i do trade in alt coin market and back to bitcoin. |

Holding and still buying since I have a good feeling this climb will continue will reach $320 Hope this continue through December or end of this year  yeah ussualy in end year bitcoin price will be up, we will see it but for reach up to $320, somewhat difficult maybe |

Everything has risk, but currently the banking system is the biggest gamble. The only reason I have a bank account is because I used to look for fiat online earning methods, and for shopping. Otherwise its not needed. Those who held their money in Cyprus accounts got a big taste of the Keynesianist ponzi debt fiat system. |

Yep. Most people are holding their coins for a price increase. I will definitely not sell everything as I will hold some coins for ever. Just to see what happens with Bitcoin.

Well, yeah it is increasing right now but we don't know what will happen in the near future here. The price could skyrocket, it could plummet, it could just stay relatively the same. Never know till it happens though! |

I don't think anybody wants to sell their bitcoins.
Because of the hope that next day the price will increase.
And if you look at the markets right now, everything seemed to be bullish and is continuously pushing the price upward. No one wants to sell on that.  |
