Another one taking bitcoin as an investment. Well hope that your desperate hope will succeed. Everyone wants that to happen but of course let's think out of the box and not just focus on holding btc's to grow bitcoins. Much better if while holding there is a coin rotating.

Goodluck if one can take to hold bitcoin without rotating it, waiting for 2020, without doing any method to grow it. It is really a success if one can managed to do this and the predictions to bitcoin to kick for a fantasy price will happen. Im glad there are people who trust bitcoins so much to the point that it surpass the maximum realistic expectation based on self speculation.

also 100k would make everyone rich, everyone would dump, i think it's almost impossible without a very massive adoption all over the world

I do not think nothing is difficult for bitcoin to advance in price. when bitcoin was around $12 on first halving people might rejected any proposal to $1000 per one bitcoin.
When new money flow into bitcoin buying, no one can not stop bitcoin to reach an unimaginable prices. Only the bigger or biggest price will lead to mass adoption of bitcoin until people will hesitate to adopt bitcoin.

Simply holding bitcoin is not a smart thought for an active trader. The most ideal way with bitcoin is keep, contribute , and use it normally. It not right to consider monstrous price raise at this moment. Since cost of bitcoin will take a year or more before it get higher.

I do not understand why people worry about market cap or other currencies worth when we predicting the future bitcoin price. From a strong analysis, bitcoin will evolve based on it's own conceptual performance other cafeterias are just number which will change over time.

Hey I do not have even that much also. But now I started to learn how to earn more. Till I improve my forum rank I would be busy in faucet earnings to make some good of bitcoins. I believe bitcoin will hit $1Million per coin level too.

Thats nice but lets be realistic.

The most it can get to in the nearby future is 5000-15000$.

There is just too much comfort for the people with traditional banking systems, they will transition very slowly.

Why not doing both? You hodl a nice amount and the rest you use to buy stuff, refill your wallets after that and continue this circle. Best of course would be to have stores and merchants who accept and take Bitcoin direct.Speaking of closed loops here. For now wishful thinking I know but hope that is going to change in the future some day.

I am holding bitcoin for three reasons.  One, I can use bitcoins to get a better price on physical and digital goods through sites like purse.io.  Two, I am holding for the long term fundamentals.  I think it will rise over time.  Three, the short term returns I can get investing in bitcoin are very good.  If I hedge the fiat exchange rate over the short term, the fiat returns of my short term BTC investments are sometimes superior to fiat investments.

I am holding coins, but to be fair I am always going to hold coins no matter what the price.  If it goes up a lot, I think I will keep them and sell some.  If it goes down, I will probably just keep them I am not entirely invested with all my fiat money.

Yes all three reasons are for the price appreciations, once bitcoin get good prices you will start using it in different ways. I never want to sell off my bitcoins instead I want to spend them in shops where I can get my daily life needs are met. I hold my bitcoin to spend but it's possible once the price raise happen.

I'm trying to hold as I know that price increase we are all waiting for is coming. Maybe not this month and maybe not the month after that but its coming.

My problem however is that my bitcoins are as slippery as oil, they just flow into and out of my wallets. Having a hard time to keep them in the wallet, most probably as I try and use bitcoin as my first form of payment whenever I pay for something.

Think its time to setup a paper wallet and give my better half the private key so that I cannot touch it

I try to stick to the bare minimum, yet i need to cash and pay with it from time to time, but I try to postpone as much as possible
