Yes and no.

I am holding for a price increase, but i`m also not holding only for that, because I done really plan to sell move my bitcoins. But i`m planning long term, and only spending later when it becomes a real deal in 5-10 years Smiley

I spend Bitcoin but at the same time I also save Bitcoin. I am waiting for the Price to increase as I bought them for a very low price. I don't have many Bitcoin but I still make a good profit from selling them.

The price was over 500 USD just a few days ago, and trust me, if you had a lot of bitcoin, you would feel otherwise about dumping them, because it
aint that simple to rebuy lower than u sold, making a profit. Or would you just dump then and wouldn't look back..

yep holding all coin since 2013 mined.....currently mining LTC will eventually convert all LTC to BTC at some time to be determined

if all converted now would be over 100 BTC..end of life on KNC Titans mining LTC to convert to BTC maybe another 10 BTC or so ..till end of life I'd guess

so I've held thru 1100 usd coin and down to what was it 170 per btc....

so we will see i'm either 'brilliant' or 'clueless' time will tell Smiley Likely NO in between.

wow you are so confident . wish bitcoin will not make us dissapointed in the future  Cool.

well you talk to venture capitalists types (2013) and they say on such speculations..that the BEST you can ever find on such (like apple ii venture capital seed money etc stuff like that) is 50/50 risk ..if it is more then that ..it would already be funded by folks with more $$$ then you!

Thus it is like you are in a big city...and there are to areas of land that they are gonna build an AIRPORT on say...you have  a 50/50 shot right..you kinda HAVE TO do it ..or if you did not and your 'picked' land hit you'd be despondent.but you just 'have to' pick a piece of land and buy some ...such things would be obvious 20/20 hindsight win or lose..anyway look at crypto in the same light

(or as my dad said on such stuff....it may work ..but mentally you make a bonfire in your mind..toss all the money into it watch it burn' and emotionally walk away (like vegas) if it works you are pleasantly surprised..if not well.......you knew the odds (supposedly with the bonfire in your mind so to speak) such is the way of 'speculation' etc

thus with btc and crypto......it may go full beanie baby and tulips it may not...but I have say the for my price of an RV or Bass Boat in all this..so if it tanks ...well hell 'the bass boat sunk' so to speak..sh*t happens

so it either works as intended long term or we go 'splat' when the parachutes fail to open ...I will make more of a 'splat' then some but not as much as others I guess Smiley

anyway why they call this stuff 'speculation' you are speculating on an 'idea' of the future with few facts....thus the 'bet'

on the other hand in 2013 oct 18th when i got my knc jupiter 550gh miner at 1btc a day it was 150 usd btc...by end of nov it was over 1000 usd.....so in 2014 say it was 200-250...in 2015 say it is 375 etc..it can grow slow ...I don't mind......

(confident hell ....just too far down in the hole to see daylight so took a nap) Smiley

Are you going to sell at $500? If the price drop to $400, will you buy it back?

If the price continue to rise above $600, what will you do with the sales proceeds from the $500 selling? Are you going to buy back when the price is higher?

why so many bump, there are other reason to hold bitcoin? this question is soo rhetoric

it's clear like the sun that everyone is holding for that reason, i more interesting question would be "what would be your target at which you think you will sell your bitcoin?"

Yes, it's my long term speculation that over time the price of Bitcoins will increase, even if not by a large amount, but by subtle amounts. I'd prefer holding it as a longer term investment and continue building my portfolio of bitcoins by steadily investing smaller amounts. I believe it's a good way to hold what you already have, spend a bit only on worthy to buy items, and invest small.

I purchased my first coins in 2012, and back then I had around BTC60 with me. But then I lost my job in 2014, and had to sell more than 80% of my coins in order to survive. Now I am left with less than BTC10. I don't know what I am going to do with them, but if I have any choice, then  would like to hold on to them for at least 3-4 years more.

If I were you, I wont limit myself up to $500 only. Bitcoin price may go higher than that, just keep your faith with it Cheesy

Personally I would hold it until the price is  $10000 each Grin Currently I only have 1 BTC to hold but I'll add more from time to time.

Didn't you know that below $400 price is fine after that sudden rise. Right now it was staying in $370-$380 for a week now I guess this is a good sign of strong support. Just relax and road to moon are slowly progressing.

Agree. Price must needs support to become stable in every floor and after that it can go freely without a problem to the next bubble. Much better to have a slow progress with a sure success than a rapid growth without a foundation.

The price fluctuation around $380 is good for the medium price rise. It is the consolidation time. So please be patient. Next year, it will be at least $600.

It's time to generate as much as possible coins right now. Imagine how much effort people have to do to get the same amount of coins. 50% less reward means you have to double your efforts after the halving to get the same amount as now. So I will definitely hold my coins for a price increase.

No. what I do know is taking advantage of the up and down price of Bitcoin, I change to fiat when it's High, then change to Bitcoin when its Low. I noticed that ther's a gap of at least $15 earlier today so I took advantage of that.

Are you devastated? How can that be! Did you buy when the price was over $500? The consolidation below $400 is fine. The price has risen too fast recently. It needs breathing.
