I'm going to save my bitcoins to at least $10,000 USD each and then sell half and then fund college.
I think this is such a good opportunity and I'm taking it.

I would like to hold out for that also, im going to have at least some always. Im thinking of maybe waiting out this bubble for the next unless we saw some very very high prices. |

I am holding my bitcoins for long time and still I don't have any intention to sell them at these price.I am sure that time is very far when price will be in four digits.At least 10000 $ is fair and correct price of 1 BTC in my opinion.

I'm holding my bitcoins until they have a ridiculously high value - that is, until they have mainstream adoption and are used by everyday people consistently. I learned from losing money by trying to day trade and gamble. Believe in the technology people, not the bubbles.
That's true looking at the present scenario I hope that the prices will reach to the moon, as the prices are continuously going high in last month and it has almost doubled in last couple of months. So I believe that it would still go higher in the coming months, but this is the right time to sell part of bitcoins and make profit out of it. |

That is good thought. I hold some coins and use some coins. I do not trade coins as I am not a good traders. I obtain bitcoin through mining. |

IMHO, that wasn't too smart. Unless you needed the cash more than you wanted to wait, bitcoin is almost definitely going to rise above the current price (whether it be in a couple of days or in a few months); you could have just waited a couple months or so and sold the bitcoins for substantially higher. Potentially, maybe even over $1000 each. |

Well that was a fun day. It went up like 100 and now it is coming back down fast too. I wonder what the heck happened that made the the price jump like that? I know it used to fluctuate a lot but I don't think I have seen anything like this.

Im hoping for a this to be a new floor too. (although i would be happy for them to drop to make a few more purchases lol) i think a 350-400 $ mark will give the btc some more weight, i think the price may start to rise again within the next couple days though. |

Holding BTC won't help.You can see what happened to the price today. Everyone started withdrawing there bitcoins from exchanges after they reached 450$+ Which has caused the price to drop to 370! You didn't get my post.  The last part of my post is for buying matters. That's why sell wise to increase your USD (I will USD here) then buy wisely again to increase your coins quantity. The goal here is to increase your hold coins (while the price is low*) so the value will increase too. *depends on your own price low |

Hoarding destroys the value of currency. It needs to flow.
The market cap of a cryptocoin in fiat money is based on prices that people are willing to pay, so traders and merchants determine the dollar value of a coin, not hoarders.

So are you holding your bitcoins for future events such as halving or you more like to spend your bitcoins when you get it? I personally like to spend it for digital goods usually...
I prefer to hold about 40% of my total for the halving. Then I spend the rest (60%) on electronics goods online. Has worked out fine for me till now. Hope it helps others too. |

price is not going down it went up from 220$ to 350$ and then jum from 350$ to 450$ for a while for couple of hours only now its back to its steady position which is 370$ so its still up and maybe will go up but not down |
